Vision walked towards the direction of resounding booms and came across a very much enraged Davis who was smashing everything around him that so much as twitched into fine dust.

"Hey big guy. Bad day, huh. I can relate, believe me." He said lightly to a much bigger and darker grey Davis who looked as if he was contemplating whether or not to attack him.

"Boss." He said in an unfamiliar growly gruff voice and kicked away a dead body at his feet.

"Just relax for second." Vision's eyes flashed yellow as he said that. Davis stumbled for a few seconds then fell on his ass as he failed to find his balance.

A gust of wind welcomed the arrival of Pietro who slid to a stop beside Vision looking at Davis who had reverted back to being human.

"Who's that?" Pietro pointed at the floating pod behind Vision that had someone sleeping in it.

"Someone's clone." Was all Vision have as a reply before jolting Davis awake with a mental tap. "Come on, let's go."

"Up, up man. Wait, why are you so suddenly heavy?" Pietro asked the still drowsy Davis as he supported him to stand up. The three of them plus a pod disappeared, with Pietro running with Davis while Vision turned both himself and the pod intangible, and arrived in front of Natasha and Peter who just finished taking care of the last straggler.

"We done?" She asked as she saw the three of them to which Vision nodded, she then turned her head to the floating pod behind him with a questioning look.

"A complication." He gave a simple answer while Natasha took a good look at who was in the pod and then looked at Vision with a teasing smirk on her face.

"What's up with you picking girls left and right from everywhere you go?"

"Haha." Vision let out a very dry sarcastic laugh as another body floated towards him, this time a boy. Essex's underling, Havok.

With the two floating in a barrier behind him, they all warped out of the island.

"So let me get this straight; that's his younger brother and that's her clone?" Ororo pointed at the two people currently sleeping on their infirmary bed.

Along with her in the infirmary was Vision who brought them with him to them, Charles, Logan, Hank and the stunned pair of Jean and Scott.

While Scott was both surprised and flabbergasted by the fact that he had a younger brother that he completely forgot, Jean was clueless on how to feel about this.

Apparently some sick scientist type guy wanted her and her powers to be theirs so bad that they cultured her DNA and created a clone of her with it. Now she was looking at an identical image of her peacefully sleeping on a bed a feet away from her and she had no idea on how she was supposed to feel.

"Vision-"

"The name is Alexander Simons. You can call me any one you want." Vision cut her off with a correction.

"I see. Then Mr. Simons, she… does she…" She trailed off as the question she wanted to ask died in her throat no matter how much she tried to say it.

Knowing what she wanted to ask, Vision explained her clone's situation to her. "She only has basic information downloaded to her brain so she can pass off as a real teenager, albeit a little clueless about certain things. If you are thinking that she's a copy of you and feel somewhat uncomfortable with having to share your identity with someone then you have nothing to worry about."

Jean's head lowered in shame as such a thought did pass through her mind more than once.

"Jean's not going to-" Scott wanted to say something Vision raised a hand to silence whatever defense he had of her.

It wasn't her fault. Even the others were slowly getting used to Laura being Logan's daughter through cloning and now one of their students suddenly gets told that someone grew a clone of her.

If not for their life experiences, the other adults in the room would have been just as lost as Jean currently was.

"She's not you, Jean." Vision said. "She has her own name, Madelyne Pryor. She'll have her own experiences, as well as likes and dislikes, completely different from you. Rather than looking at her like a cheap copy of you, I'd appreciate it if you saw her as your twin sister of sorts."

Vision and Charles cracked a small smile as they felt the energy around her light up. All she needed was another perspective and Vision gave her just that and she immediately latched onto it.

A few minutes ago she had been distraught and mentally pressed on how to accept something like this and now she was slightly panicking and also a little bit excited as she waited for her lookalike to wake up.

A younger twin sister. She couldn't exactly put what she felt about that into concrete words but one thing she knew was that she didn't hate it a single bit.

With Jean's taken care of, it was now time for them to take care of Scott's tampered memories.

Being the one he trusted, Charles dived into Scott's head and tried looking for any sign of a mental tampering in Scott's mind but couldn't find anything.

"It's because it was so seamlessly melded with his original memory that it makes it look normal with nothing amiss, but if you test a few points and watch for a reaction…"

Charles turned around in surprise and saw Vision inside Scott's head with him and yet he still couldn't sense his mental signatures despite him standing so close.

"Watch." Under Charles' astonished gaze, Vision started unraveling all the fake memories and separated them from the real ones with alien ease.

"How did you do that so easily?" Charles couldn't help but ask as they both looked through the fragmented memories.

"Let's just say I'm naturally talented when it comes to anything that involves the mind and leave it at that."

Charles nodded and they fell into silence as they reworked Scott's mind until Charles gasped when Vision unearthed something in particular.

In a way, telepaths are very similar to computer programmers in a way that they can break down something as simple as the picture of a memory and expand it to simpler yet more complicated mental codes and analyze things such as the person's thoughts and real emotions during the time that memory was made.

And what Charles was currently analyzing was Scott's feelings for Jean.

Just like everyone else, he thought that Scott's feelings for Jean was a genuine crush and not something that was masterfully planted and festered over time without him knowing.

"Don't worry. If any part of his feelings for her were genuine, he'll develop a crush on her again or move on." Vision said as he got rid of the last string of implanted memories.

Charles was no fool by any means. His infirmary had a clone of Jean and Scott's brother and the same person responsible for cloning Jean planted borderline obsessive feelings for her inside Scott's head. He could already come up with a few scenarios that it would have led to just by reading the intent behind these emotions.

"That's the last of them." Vision said and Charles read through all of them to make sure that they were the fake memories and only after he confirmed it did Vision go ahead with erasing them.

Taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes with a heavy heart and looked at Scott who was lying on a bed in front of him.

"Charles…" Hank called out to him as he saw the downcast look on his friend's face.

"It's alright now. Everything has been taken care of." Though it was good news, no one had in them to be happy about it as not one but two of their students were being manipulated without anybody catching a whiff of it.

"I'll be on my way. Do reach out to me if anything happens to them that you don't understand." Vision said and walked out of the infirmary.

"Mr. Simons." Charles called out to him.

"Yes?"

"On behalf of my teachers, students and myself, thank you for what you've done for us." Charles gave his sincere gratitude.

"You don't need to do that. It's all part of the day job." He waved at them and left, beaming himself back to his base as soon as he stepped out of the building with Logan seeing him off.

The people in the infirmary were still coming to terms with what just happened with Scott sobbing in the background as he finally remembered his younger brother that he had forgotten for years until a soft frail voice instantly took away all their attention.

"Uhm, excuse me? Who are you people and where am I?"

Everybody paused and subconsciously directed a gaze at Jean which the person copied.

"I.. You…" Now how the hell was she supposed to go about and tell the redhead lookalike currently staring at her that she was a clone and she wants to adopt her as a twin sister?

"You are my sister."
