Chapter 117: Discussion with Kaguya

Kyle's lips twitched, he rubbed his forehead fighting against a headache as he said, ''I get it. You said you have something to talk about. What is it?"

Seeing that her man was trying to change the subject, Kaguya's lips curled into a smirk before she announced.

''I was called back.''

''What for?" Kyle asked.

''Well, I have turned eighteen, time to select a man that I'll marry after taking the Crown. It's a custom. Also, there is a ceremony I must undergo.'' Kaguya explained with a smile.

Frowning Kyle said, ''Don't tell me they will choose between numerous grooms. It will happen in a competition. At the end of the competition, the winner will be selected as your husband.''

''Exactly, as expected of my man. I'm not worried because I know you will win.'' Kaguya says eyes filled with certainty.

''You mother mustn't like me for her to say I must participate in this charade,'' Kyle said clearly displeased.

Noting the displeasure in his voice Kaguya cupped his cheek forcing him to look at her in the eyes before she said.

''No need to be displeased. Just play along, will you? Think of it as a way to kill your boredom. You can tell yourself that it is another way to win my heart once for good by winning the competition. My mother won't refuse us to be together after that. She may not appreciate you at the moment but it's only because she doesn't know how charming you can be.''

''Oh? so I'm charming? I'm unaware of this. Well, don't fall too deep or there will be turning back because how charming am I.'' Kyle said with the corner of his mouth curved into a smirk.

Rolling her eyes Kaguya took a deep breath before continuing,

''You can't blame her, you are too mysterious, you appeared out of blue and bam! you stole her only child's heart. Just imagine if you were in her place, you will be wary of this person. He may not have a good intention approaching your daughter. All of this may be a plot to take control of the Empire. Not that I thought you have this kind of intention.''

''Oh? Why did you think so?" Kyle asked amused.

Shrugging her shoulders Kaguya leaned against Kyle's chest, she stared at the starry sky before answering,

''Call it woman's intention if you will. You don't appear like someone interested in power, political power I mean. Let's say when one looks at you it's like all these mundane things don't affect you at all, they mean nothing to you. As if you are standing at the summit, you are not interested in politics. Not once you asked me about the situation in my hometown even when knowing I'm the Crown princess, the crown will be mine and as my man, you'll be equal to an Emperor, however, you seemed unfazed when I talk about it earlier, you are just displeased with the idea of participating in this competition that all.''

''You are right. I don't like politics, I'm not interested in your Crown, being an Emperor may sound appealing for others but me what I see it's troubles. All these things held no meaning for me, all I want is a tranquil Life with my loved ones. A peaceful life with all of you, this is my goal. If I want I could have taken over an Empire or create my own, I'm capable of doing it.'' Kyle explained with a smile.

Rolling her eyes because she did not believe him even when she knew he was powerful than what he showed but to be able to take over one of the current empires he must be at least Peak God tier level, a level she doubts he was currently at.

One must forget that hiding in the depth of each empires were terrible monsters approaching Peak God tier, if not because of this fact most of them would have conquered the other already.

''It's good to boast but too much is bad for your health honey,'' Kaguya warned.

In response Kyle smiled not offering any response, seeing this Kaguya wanted to continue but was stopped by Kyle's next words.

''So, when are you leaving?"

''At the end of the mission. We will leave automatically. Coincidentally we have been given a one-month time of rest at the end of this Mission. I would have liked the other girls to company us but that will be unwise, I'm aware by now mother is already aware of you having numerous girls, one of the reasons she doesn't want you in my life but was forced to compromise. However, compromise it is, it will be a declaration of war if you went there surrounded by your lovers. I've talked with the others they agreed that none of them should follow us, it will be like our honeymoon fufufu.'' Kaguya explained with a giggle.

''A sweet honeymoon it will be,'' Kyle announced with a smile.

''I Love you.'' Kaguya kissed him and said lovingly.

''I know,'' Kyle replied as he stared at her, his eyes were filled with affection.

Pouting Kaguya said, ''You know most men, in this case, would have said 'I love you too'.''

''Even if they didn't mean it?" Kyle asked with his eyes narrowed.

''Yeah even if they did not mean it. Women like to hear these kinds of things even when they are fully aware it's not true. You feel desired loved even if it's a lie.'' Kaguya explained.

''I see. Sorry, I can lie to a girl but not when it comes to feelings. It may be selfish but I will only say that word when I truly love someone, I will be a hypocrite if I were to say it without meaning it. At the moment I can't say it but I know that soon I'll be able to reply if you ask me.'' Kyle explained in turn.

Kissing Kyle for what seemed a second Kaguya said,

''I know I'll be waiting. If you had responded I would have broken up with you because I'll know you were not sincere and what I hate the most it's hypocrites.''

''So it was a kind of test? Did I pass it?" Kyle asked with a teasing smile.

Giggling Kaguya replied, ''You passed with a high grade, congratulations.''

''Oh? and as an exceptional student who has passed your test what kind of reward did I deserve?" Kyle asked while biting her earlobe.

Flicking Kyle's forehead Kaguya said, ''And as a good student you should wait for your teacher's permission before starting to unwrap the reward you know?''

Continuing his onslaught by planting a kiss on her neck until it left a hickey there Kyle replied while moving towards the other side.

''I'm tired of playing the good student.''

''Oh? And what do you suggest then?" Kaguya asked doing her best not to moan.

Kissing her slowly, Kaguya was feeling her body's temperature slowly rising, it was to say she was starting to feel aroused, Kyle said,

"Let me be a bad student, an extremely naughty student who wants to eat up his teacher.''

Then he took her lips and went for a deep kiss that left Kaguya breathless for a moment.

Catching her breath Kaguya said, her cheeks colored in a crimson hue.

''What a naughty student you are. I shall let you claim your first rewards then.''

''And who am I to decline? I shall claim what it's mine then.''

The two vanished from the sky, the starry sky seemed lonely losing their company.
