Chapter 113: The Mantis wants to prey on the Cicada unaware of being watched

''Okay girls let sit down and talk shall we? No need to continue standing.''

I immediately created three chairs for us to sit on it. After we both sat I look at the girls, now that we both sitting and the tension have lessened a bit it was time to continue our previous discussion.

Looking at Angel I said, ''Like I was saying earlier, it would be bad if people start questioning you about your eyes. I have a solution for the problem, here take this and wear it.''

After I finished talking I tossed toward Angel a golden bracelet with a beautiful carving on it. She caught it, she then caressed it before putting it on her right arm, immediately her previous red eyes regained their usual golden hue. She looked a little bit disappointed but didn't say anything as she remembered Snow's warning.

''So, Kyle what are you going to do about that scum who can even attack his sister so viciously?" Snow looked at me with her expressionless face and asked.

Angel's eyes turned murderous for a moment, I could feel her thirst for revenge, grinning evilly I responded, ''Don't worry I have something interesting in store for him. I'm sure he will like it.''

Seeing my grin, the girls couldn't help but feel a shiver running down their spines, they thought whatever I was planning they don't want to be in Leon's place.

Observing their reactions I couldn't help but smile, I did not go into the details nor they asked me about what I had planned. Well, even if they were to ask I won't tell them, they may against my plan, after all, they are also women, naturally, they may not like my idea.

''What kind of explanation I'll give Leon if he asked me how did I survive?'' Angel raised a question.

Hearing her question I smiled I replied ''Just let him know that it was Snow who saved you. Snow's background will look more mysterious by saying so. Well, it doesn't matter if he asks or not. He will be surprised for sure. I bet he was trying to come up with a good excuse dragging Luxor with him.''

Shaking my head, I looked in a certain direction before smiling,

''It seems that we will have visitors soon.''

''Indeed.'' Snow nodded her head having felt their presence like me. Well, she middle Level 0 after all, equivalent to peak middle God Tier mutant.

''What you two are talking about?" Angel asked confused. She didn't know what we were talking about, after all, she did not have a powerful sense as we do.

Smiling mysteriously I said with my arms crossed ''You will know soon.''

I shut my eyes while I waited for the incoming visitors and at the same time I was listening to something, in the meantime, the girls decided to continue chatting.

Meanwhile at the same moment in a certain location inside the Lost Forest stood two young men slightly panting as if they had been running for some time.

Leaning against a nearby tree Luxor glared at Leon with anger as he said ''Leon you're crazy. Why did you assault your sister?"

Leaning lazily against another tree looked unfazed by Luxor's intense stare filled with anger, he answered while massaging his throbbing temple, ''Don't shout what has been done is done. I'm rather tired let me rest for a moment.''

After finishing talking Leon closed his eyes not even glancing at Luxor who by now had an ugly complexion.

''You are crazy. You don't seem to feel any regret after coldly assaulting your sister, by now she may already be dead.'' Luxor spat, not hiding his disdain.

Not even bothered to open his eyes Leon answered in a lazy tone, ''Why would I regret it? She deserves what I've done to her. How dare she yell at me? And because of that bastard to boot. She deserves it and I do not regret it, not even one bit.''

Luxor brows twitched, sighing he asked ''I see. You have your reason for doing that but you seem to forget that all Royal family members possess a Soul crystal and upon dying, one may know how they die and who killed them. You have been too reckless.''

''Eh? To think that the fiery Luxor may be dumb sometimes. Hahaha! How amusing.'' Leon said mockingly.

''Hoh? Why did you say that? Care to explain?"

Not becoming angry even after being openly mocked Luxor asked because he felt that he had overlooked something, Leon seemed to be too calm for someone who had just killed his little sister. Luxor wants to know why he seemed so calm.

''Tch!"

Clicking his tongue in annoyance because his little jab hadn't worked, Leon decided to explain why he seemed so calm,

''You no fun at all. Well, the reason I acted so reckless is because of the ring I'm wearing on my finger.''

Saying this Leon showed a simple golden ring he was wearing on his right arm middle finger.

Luxor's eyes narrowed for a moment because he already had an idea of what Leon was going to say next and he did not like it.

Not noticing his accomplice in a crime state Leon proceed with his explanation.

''You see this ring can cancel the Soul crystal's function. To put simply with this on my finger I can kill anybody who has Soul crystal, nobody gonna know that it was me. There will only see someone powerful with an unknown feature.''

Luxor complexion darkened in instant, what he was fearing the most come true. This will complicate things.

Leon observed Luxor and chuckled before saying ''No need to worry, I'm not planning to use it on you anyway. We are allies after all.''

The two smiled however inwardly they were cursing at each other, plotting how to get rid of the other.

''Let's discuss how to get rid of Kyle for good. I'm sure you have some ideas to share with me. I'm all ears.'' Leon said after taking a chair out of his space ring.

''Indeed, I've few ideas,'' Luxor replies after doing the same thing as Leon.

They started exchanging ideas on how to get rid of Kyle while at the same time internally they plotting how to get rid of the other. Luxor particularly was thinking about how he would kill Leon and blame it on Kyle, like Leon he also had something that to enable him to cancel the Soul crystal's function. Hell, his artifact was more powerful than Leon's artifact. With his ring, he can impersonate anybody when killing someone who has a Soul crystal. This artifact of his has numerous functions.

The reason why he had not made a move yet was that was unsure of his victory against Leon if the latter were to become serious. He was preparing something and soon it would be ready, with this thing Luxor was sure of his victory and at the same of Kyle's doom, it's like killing two birds with one stone. Maybe after seeing Kyle's true color the girls would rush toward him. Who knows.

Luxor shook his head and decided to continue his little play with Leon.

They continued to discuss how to kill Kyle and at the same time deciding on how to divide his women between themselves. Even discussing this subject none of them showed any other kind of emotions other than a smile, nor they argued when distributing Kyle's women between themselves. However, while outside they showed a smiling face and discuss peacefully, inwardly they were thinking not to share any of the women. Can a dead man share women with you? No, he can't, one of them has to die.

Unaware of being observed by a small bat with red eyes, the two continued to further plan Kyle's death.
