Chapter 109: An Emergency Last Part

Snow and Angel continued walking in silence, Angel was still lost in thoughts, not knowing what to do. Should she stop falling for Kyle because she could never monopolize him? Or she should just accept to share him with the other? She had a hard time deciding what to choose.

Finally, Angel decided to consult the girl beside her, however, she was not going to say that it was her who was troubled instead she will say that it was another person, no a drama she had read.

"Say Snow I need your opinion on something I read." Angel suddenly said.

Snow smiled inwardly while thinking 'I knew you'd ask my opinion.' however outside her expression remained expressionless as she said "Go on. I'm all ears."

Taking a deep breath Angel started explaining the story,

"Once upon a time in Empire, a girl from middle noble class met a handsome youth, this youth was extremely handsome. The handsome youth immediately struck a conversation with the girl, the two chatted until it was time for the girl to leave hence she excused herself, the two promised to see each other again however shortly after the handsome youth traveled to a faraway land, he won't be coming back soon. The girl was saddened by the news, it was at that time she comes to know that she had fallen for the handsome youth. Being a girl who pursues what she wants, the girl decided to make the handsome youth fall for her like this the two would marry. She started investigating the handsome youth in the hope to learn more about her future husband unfortunately she came to learn that the handsome youth had several women already. Saddened and heartbroken the girl decided that she will bury her feelings because she couldn't have the man only for herself. Here's my question what would you do if you're in her place? Will you bury these feelings and try to forget the youth? Or will you continue loving him? This will mean accepting the fact that you'll be sharing him."

Angel stared at Snow after finishing her story.

Smiling as if the answer to this question couldn't be more obvious, Snow said "What a stupid question. Naturally, I'll share him with the other women if I love him. Or are you perhaps thinking that the girl should make the other women leave the youth like this she'll have him all for herself?"

Snow raised a question to which Angel's body flinched, she turned her head in the other direction. She refused to answer, however not responding showed her stance. Truth be told Angel had thought of that. She thought that maybe she could make the young man fall deeply in love with her and once it happened she will ask him to leave the other women and only live with her, only love her. It's selfish she knew but women are selfish creatures after all. One must only think about one happiness even if it means you'll have to hurt others in the process.

Snow brought out Angel of her stupor by saying,

"You're too naïve if you think like that. Tell me what guarantee you that what you did to others another woman wouldn't do the same to you? In the case it happens you'll be thrown away because the new woman wishes for it. At that moment you'll experience what the other women experienced when you make the man leave them. Tell me do you still think that you should make the man leave his woman for you?"

Angel's body shuddered, she stopped walking. Now that Snow had talked about she never deeply thought about what that decision of her entail. She just wants to be happy herself regardless of the costs. She felt ashamed of herself.

Snow glanced at her before saying in a voice full of disdain.

"The man who will accept leaving his women for another one is scum, he didn't deserve to live while the woman who made the man do this kind of thing was not better either. If the man accepts doing this kind of thing once be sure that he will do it again."

Angel felt more ashamed, her head was hung low. Snow chuckled when she saw her, she decided that it was time to stop pushing her.

"I hope you'll never think like that. If you cannot accept sharing him just bury your feelings and move on. You'll encounter another man in the future, maybe this one will only love you. Even if he is not like the previous one if he chooses to only love you, that would be for the best." Snow concluded.

Finally, Angel lifted her head and glanced at Snow's eyes filled with gratitude, it seemed that she had come to some sort of decision. Smiling she bowed lightly and said, "Thank you, Snow. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. I know what to do, no I meant I know what the female inside that book should do."

Rolling her eyes at how Angel was still thinking that she wasn't aware that Angel was talking about herself, Snow replied "You welcome"

"You know Snow, sometimes I have the feeling that you older than all of us." Angel suddenly said.

Shrugging her shoulders Snow decided not to comment. Well, she was older than most of Kyle's women.

Suddenly, Snow sensed something, and her brows knitted, sighing she glanced at Angel apologetically and said,

"Sorry, Angie something urgent came up. I'll be leaving you behind. Please stay here I'll come back soon."

"Okay I understand. I'll wait for you here."

Even though she didn't know what happened that makes Snow turned this serious, Angel still decided to comply and wait for her here.

"Thank you. I'll be back soon before you even know it." Snow said before leaving in flash.

Angel's eyes widened at the impossible speed displayed by Snow, she heaved a sigh thinking that all Kyle's women are powerful than her. She needs to work hard not to be left behind.

On the other hand, Snow who was taking care of a mess created by her subordinates suddenly saw a flash of White lightning in the distance, the White lightning was coming from Angel's location, feeling that something bad had happened Snow didn't tarry any longer, she left her subordinates to fend off themselves and dashed toward Angel's location at full speed.

A few minutes later she was there, what she saw left her pale in fright, the previous beautiful trees in the vicinity were now nothing but ashes, the soil was blackened, there was a crater in front of her and this crater lying lifeless was Angel, her chest was pierced, there was a burned trace around her chest, her eyes were wide open, there were filled with hate and unwillingness.

Snow staggered toward Angel, she held her in her arms, she could feel the life slowly leaving Angel's body. She didn't know any Healing arts, Snow didn't know what to do, she became restless, suddenly she remembered her man, she quickly sends him a signal. Hopefully, he will come in time and help the poor girl, no she was sure that her man will be able to save the dying maiden. He is her man, after all, a man who had subdued her.

Back to the present.

When I arrived at Snow's location and saw the scene in front of me and especially Angel who was dying, my killing intent rose covering the whole forest, everything became quiet.

I quickly stopped because I could feel Snow having difficulty breathing.

Calming down I approached the two, Snow who was normally expressionless had now tears running down her cheeks. Locking eyes with mine she pleaded me to save Angel.

Sighing that the only solution I had would be to turn her in one of my kind because she has already died. I bit my thumb and a drop of crimson blood mixed with a little bit of purple fell into the hole on Angel's chest, immediately her charred heart began to heal at a fast speed, the wound closed itself in seconds.

Ba-Dump! Ba-Dump! Ba-Dump!

A heartbeat sounds could be heard, Angel's complexion became better, her skin turned whiter, she started to slowly breathe however she didn't show any signs of waking up, it was as if she was sleeping.

Having seen that her life was not in danger anymore I sighed filling exhausted mentally. I know that she will wake up soon. In the meantime time, I decided to ask Snow what happened even though I already had an idea of what happened.

"Snow, what happened here?"

Snow was brought out of her stupor, she glanced at me and the slowly breathing Angel and muttered, "I knew you could save her but I'm still surprised. Indeed, my man is capable after all. I'm proud of you."

"Thank you for the praise, my Lady. Will you not reward me for what I just accomplished?" I asked while glanced at her body eyes filled with nothing but lust.

Rolling her eyes Snow tried to hide her blushing cheeks, "Dream on. ....Not now."

The last part was muttered quietly, yet I still heard it.

"I see, what a shame. I was thinking about a quickie." I said with my shoulders dropped.

"Be serious will you?" Snow glared at me.

Shrugging my shoulders I put on a serious expression as I said "Sure, tell me what happened here?"

"I don't know. I was not here, I left for a moment to assist my subordinates who were in trouble. When I was helping them I saw a flash of White lightning coming from this location. Leaving my subordinates I quickly come back to see her dying." Snow explained.

"I see, let's wait for her to wake up and tell us what happened," I said before suddenly making Snow sit on my lap.

Caught off guard Snow glared at me ''You-"

"Shh! Just enjoy.'' I cut her off and said while I nibbed on her ears. Her body trembled, she leaned against me. The two of us stayed silent enjoying the silence atmosphere while waiting for Angel to wake up.
