Well, since a lot of time has passed and I wrote many chapters lately then I think that I need to give a proper illustration about the novel if any person saw it by luck and decided to give it a shot but doesn't know what the novel is exactly about, so here it is.negative redemption is an immersive dark fantasy novel that may look simple at the beginning but actually it's not, everything in the continent is large with kingdoms set geographically right in comparison with their history.the lore of the continent and its relation with the gods and demons is strongly related together but due to its large content I can't just say it all at once so the lore is explained gradually over the chapters. The main plot as mentioned in the synopsis is about Jaxith and Irene, and before thinking about it, NO, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.Jaxith is a 27 year old monster hunter, yup he's not your usual shonen MC or a kid that was reincarnated into another world with superpowers, he's a cold character, I mean it literally, Jaxith lacks emotions in a gruesome way and everyone saw that at the end of Ebonmere's arc, his hallucinations for his family and everything he sometimes sees is my way to say that this man passed with a horrible childhood, imagine seeing all your family blaming you for everything and after killing anyone, I can't tell more than that sorry but Jaxith's past is too large and wasn't mentioned until now because he's super secretive. The other important character is Irene, 14 years old demon hybrid that was raised as a thief in a famous underground thieves guild, hybrids are treated horribly in this world because of their demonic blood as the demons themselves are the enemies of the gods and subsequently the humans who worship them, but Irene wasn't treated that bad due to Lance who raised her, but that doesn't mean her life was simple because she wasn't looked at with respect and that's why she tried proving herself as the best thief in the guild.Everything changed drastically when Jaxith had a dream about Irene and decided to look for her as he doesn't know who she is but it felt real, when he travels to find her he actually finds that she's targeted by an assassin that killed all her guild using dark prohibited art called the scarlet summoning art that let him summon specific demons.Jaxith decides to help her now and gradually they uncover secrets that by the time reveals something scarier about the origins of Irene's demonic blood.the relationship between Jaxith and Irene isn't intimate at all, Irene somehow reminds Jaxith of his young sister and without a proper reason he found himself acting completely different with her, he's not acting cold towards her unlike others, Irene herself is gradually developing brother-sister emotions with Jaxith that she didn't know she would ever feel, someone who's completely understanding and guiding her, someone who's risking his life without waiting for any payment. The brutality in the novel is present and in a gruesome manner as Jaxith himself can literally bury someone alive or cut someone's limbs just to make him talk! Finally, the power system, or I should say, systems, yeah I got three types of major energies that each of them works completely different from the other, so I'll explain them shortly to get the idea of how complex the world and system is before starting to read.First, the spiritual energy, this type of energy is only available for the spiritual knights who are born with bound spirits that grant them special abilities and even a completely different form than the human form, each bound spirit is different but they are rare and very strong and hard to defeat, the spiritual energy is their energy resource for using their power.Secondly, the divine energy, it's present in the souls of all the living organisms but not all of them are born with the ability to harness it, those are called the divine casters, magicians, the divine magic is differentiated into several arts that each of them requires years of training, by the way, all the elves can use divine energy unlike humans so the elves are the pioneers in the divine magic. Finally, the dark energy, only the demons are born with it to use, but an anti gods religious cult called the Cragmoore zealots discovered a way to get a vessel from the scarlet demons realm through a horrible sacrificing ritual, those who succeed became what's called the dark casters, magicians specialized in dark magic that's separated into different arts too which is completely prohibited and anyone indulged in it is executed directly because it's a source of power for the demons themselves who were the enemy of the gods. That's not the only usage for dark energy as there's another art away from the dark magic called the negative abyss which allows its user to get enhanced physical abilities and a variation of skills that's close to making the user a ghostly assassin but also has a lot of drawbacks, that's the art Jaxith is using in the novel with his sword, the black titan, the negative abyss is also prohibited. No need to mention the religious conflict between the gods worshippers and the Cragmoore zealots who worship the demon lord himself and the interaction between all of these conflicts along with Jaxith and Irene adventure to understand what's really going on.The novel is vast and I can't talk a lot about it but that's a quick review for you, no romance (except for 4 chapters of John Rascliffe and Cristina which had a dark end too and lead to the creation of my first villain), no harem, just pure dark fantasy with a character development right from the beginning, even the side characters all have their unique and different personalities and goals, realistic emotions and psychological thriller some hallucinations that sometimes you won't know the difference between the real and fake.I know it took long but I need you to understand that negative redemption isn't a light novel with a light power system, it's a large novel with each chapter ranging from 3200 to 3500 words and even the fights can reach 8000 words for a chapter and a complex power system.finally I'd like to thank my few loyal readers here that I really don't care about their number but their continuous emotional support to not ever drop the novel, I don't care about money I'm just a part time writer that loves dark fantasy and found myself creating a world that I spent 4 years developing it just for fun that I wished someone like meora was able to write before his sudden death😔thank you guys ❤
