Ch. 31 - Time to learn some magic

"Hello there! I'm Grizz! These are my brothers, Pan and Ice Bear!" Grizz seemed to be the most active among them as he went down from the top and introduced himself and his brothers.

What shocked Doflamingo was that this bear could fucking walk like a normal person.

"H-Hello there." Panda timidly waved his hand while Ice Bear stared at him and nodded without an ounce of emotion on his face.

'What's with these weird brothers.' Although they seem very weird to Doflamingo but he would be lying if he said that they're weird and boring. In fact, Doflamingo was fascinated at them, as the three of them were treating each others like they're real brothers in blood.

The only answer to this is that these brothers must've experienced hardships together which causes them to be very close with one another and treat each other as real brothers in anything but blood.

"So, what's going on?" Grizz asked.

"You see, Grizz. I'm leaving." Garfield said as Grizz, along with his brother's face sank.

"Wait, hold on. You can't leave us, we need you!" Panda reacted more affectedly as this is the life he has always imagined and if Garfield left them, all of these will crumble.

"Don't worry, I won't just go away without making plans. I planned for the three of you to inherit my position while I'm gone."

As soon as Garfield's words fell on their ears, the three brother's mouth went wide open in shock. Even Ice Bear, the bear who doesn't show much emotions, showed huge shock.

"W-what? Could you please repeat it?" Grizz poked his ear and cleaned it before asking again.

"The three of you would inherit my position as the King of this kingdom!" Garfield smiled in pride as if he was staring at his son who would someday become a great king and lead his kingdom to greatness.

"Hold on, we can't do that." Panda was shivering, he doesn't know how to lead a Kingdom of animals, the only thing that he knows is to pose as a cute panda, maybe cooking, but that doesn't help in leading a Kingdom.

"We'll take it!" Opposite to Panda's reaction, Grizz was more positive and immediately accepted Garfield's proposal without even asking Panda and Ice Bear's opinion.

"What? Grizz, how are we supposed to become kings when we aren't fit to be one." Panda tried to convince Grizz and told him all their disadvantage when they become kings.

Unfortunately for him, Grizz has already fallen deep into his fantasy thoughts.

He imagined himself wearing a crown and leading his kingdom to greatness, and Garfield praised him for his achievements.

"Are you sure we could trust him?" Doflamingo asked Garfield beside him.

"I'm sure of it. He may not be fit to be a king now, but I'm sure Ice Bear could. I've seen his capabilities. Ice Bear is like a Jack Of All Trades, he could literally do anything as long as he put his mind into it." Garfield pointed at Ice Bear who was sitting quietly on the sidelines, he seemed to be thinking about something.

"Snap out of it, Grizz. We can't become kings out of the blue!" Pan started shaking Grizz's body, forcing him to 'wake" up from his fantasies.

"Y-You're right. We aren't fit to be kings." Grizz fell into contemplation and just in time, he saw Ice Bear's face.

"How about we make lil bro the king! Hahaha! That's right! I'm sure he's fit to be one. Right lil bro?" Grizz excitedly said as he shakes Ice Bear's shoulders.

"Ice Bear doesn't want a heavy responsibility." Ice Bear said without any emotion in his voice.

"Come on, you could do it. Me and Pan would be your advisors." Grizz said as Pan seemed to think for a few moments before agreeing to Grizz's decision. Out of all the three of them, Ice Bear is always the one who seems to be capable of doing everything. He's strong, smart, and managed to keep his calm in dangerous situations, the only problem that he had is his lack of communication but they could work that out and besides, Grizz could take that position, since he's always the one who seems to be some kind of leader because of his friendly attitude.

"So, you guys have made the decision, huh? Alright then, from tomorrow, you three would lead this Kingdom in my stead! I hope you guys won't disappoint me." Garfield said outloud, letting the other animals around to hear them.

"The three of them would lead us? That's great! Grizz helped me learn on how to make friends!" A raccoon commented, bringing up Grizz reputation.

"Pan is the one who taught me how to become cute, thanks to him, my boyfriend accepted my feelings for him!" A small squirrel said as her boyfriend hugged her from behind and kissed her cheeks.

"I heard that Ice Bear will be the king! He taught me how to cook!" A Gorilla, wearing an apron said. (A/N: Where did he even get that?)

"Yeah! He also taught me how to fight!" A kangaroo said as she hugged her son.

"Grizz/Pan/King Ice Bear!" Soon, a crowd of animals has formed around them and cheered for them.

From the looks of it, the brothers has already formed a good reputation among the other animals, so Doflamingo and Garfield won't have to trouble themselves on raising the trio's reputation.

"W-woah!" Grizz was very happy as he and his brothers were raised in the air, by a huge gorilla while their names were being chanted by them.

"Please give me babies!!" A shout was heard by them.

"What? Who said that?" Grizz was confused as he tried to look everywhere among the crowd, while Pan blushed heavily when he heard the shout. As for Ice Bear? His face doesn't show any emotions, so it's hard to know what he's thinking.

"Ice Bear doesn't want any babies." Ice Bear commented.

"Let's leave them be. Come with me, Garfield, I need to talk to you about something." Doflamingo said to Garfield as they both went to a secluded spot.

"I decided not to take you all with me for now. I hope it's fine for you to wait for a month. Because I think I've found a solution on how I would take you all to my Amusement Park without anyone knowing." Doflamingo said to him as Garfield felt disappointed but it's just one month anyway and besides, he trusts Doflamingo that he won't just leave him like this.

"Sure. By the way, what is this solution that you found?" Curiousity got to Garfield, so he asked.

Doflamingo smirked before speaking.

"It's simple. I just need to meet a certain bald sorceress." Doflamingo said.

He remembered that in the movie, Dr. Strange, there is a certain spell that allowed to travel between places through a portal, and it depends on your efficiency if you could make it bigger than it's average size.

In the Endgame movie, Dr. Strange conjured a huge portal during the final battle with Thanos, and as long as he masters it to that extent, he could definitely transfer everyone without anyone knowing.

And besides, there are other spells in there that might help him on his Warehouse problem. At first, he was thinking about asking Howard for help, but he decided against it since asking him to build him a secret base for a favour seems like he's on the disadvantage.

He could use the favour on other important things like, asking Howard to help him invent something or maybe ask him for a Arc Reactor, not the big one but the smaller one.

As the father of Tony Stark, the inventor of the small Arc Reactor, surely he would know how to create one.

Like what Lou Holtz said, as long as you put your mind into it, nothing is impossible.

Soon, a day has passed and Doflamingo finally left the forest again, Garfield once again said farewell to him.

While Doflamingo will go and find the Ancient One to learn some magic, Garfield will stay and take care of matters involving on the change of leadership. Although Grizz and his brothers have a good reputation, there are still some animals who doesn't know them and he also has to make sure that there won't be a coup d'état happening when they feel disatisfied with the new leader.

They also needed to build some fearsome reputation so there won't be some non-resident animals trying to overthrow the kingdom, thinking that the new leader is weak and a coward.

Luckily, it's not that hard to teach Ice Bear to fight, he seems to have been trained and had experience in fighting. So, Garfield's job is to hone his skills and instincts as a True Bear.

Especially, Grizz. As a Grizzly Bear, he's definitely much more stronger than an average Lion, it's just that he's bit coward and prefer peace over violence.

As long as Grizz and Ice Bear are trained and honed to their finest, even if there are 5 lions, they would surely be able to come out of the top.

Meanwhile, Garfield doesn't have any hopes on Panda, he seems girly to Garfield.

And just like that, Grizz and Ice Bear doesn't know what they will face during the month for their 'training'.

In the meantime, Doflamingo was finally back home and Matilda asked him on where the animals are but Doflamingo just replied to her.

"Soon, I need some time. Meanwhile, I need you to take care of our Amusement Park, hire some staffs and make sure you look into their background before you recruit them, I'm sure Hyda already knows about our Amusement Park and they will definitely take this chance to insert some of their agents."

After saying that, Doflamingo didn't stay any longer and set his destination to 177A Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village, New York City, New York.

It's time to learn some magic.
