53- Hero Names

Aska got the response back from his teacher. Mr. Aizawa got permission from the principal for Aska to use one of the training grounds. He even got permission to get some robots to train with, even the zero pointers.

The next day early in the morning, Aska made his way to school. The school was empty, but there were some teachers and other staff members walking about.

Aska first went to find Mr. Aizawa,

"Hey Mr. Aizawa. Thank you for letting me use the training grounds" - Aska waved at Mr. Aizawa as he entered the teacher lounge

"No problems. Take it as a sign of how much the school is willing to invest in you. That's why we are allowing you to go as far as you want with your training. You're allowed to destroy buildings, or the robots, just don't go overboard. Also you have till 6 pm" - Mr. Aizawa sounded tired like always

"Yes sir. I should be done around 6 pm anyway" - Aska said as he walked out

Making his way towards training ground Gama. At the entrance of the training ground, Aska saw power loader.

"Hey there kid. I'll be sticking around with you today" - Power Loader

"Thank you for your time" - Aska politely said

"No problems. So, what do you plan on doing?" - Power Loader

"I'll work on accuracy and precision today" - Aska

"Let's see...How about some flying targets?" - Power Loader

"Bring on some robots from each kinds first, for a quick warmup" - Aska

"Alright" - Power loader said as he went towards the training ground control room.

Aska stood in the middle of the town square area of the training ground.

*RUMBLE*

2 zero pointers showed up from either side of Aska. About 100 small flying roomba-looking robots floated above the square. About 50 "three pointers" made their way through the streets all around Aska.

Aska looked around, "good" - He was happy with that. This much should be enough to get him warmed up.

"All robots have rockets on them. For safety proposes the rockets are made using watered down fireworks. And also have rubber bullets. If you get hit it won't kill you. The robots attack in 3...2...1! GO!" - Power Loader announced

Aska's body got wrapped in lightning as the sound of thousands of birds chirped. The he dashed at the robots.

Power Loader was watching Aska's training. "Man...This kid is just different" - Power Loader was amazed at Aska's power.

Some of the three pointers were used for close quarters. Aska used his sword, or daggers. He pulled out the yo-yo for the first time in a while. As for the flying roomba ones were used for sniping. Firing lightning bullets, or even long distance weapons, like whips. The zero pointers were used for big devastating attacks.

After that he decided to work on the main objective; control, and accuracy.

Suddenly the area got quite, the only sound was the robots moving, but no lightning sound. This time, Aska aimed at the back side of the robots, or in other words he aimed at the hardest part to reach.

From far away ground Gama was quite, but there was flashing with pale blue light every second or so.

Aska worked on making his attacks, and moves as quite as possible. He wanted to make sure he can be stealthy and precise if need be.

Hours passed, and the square where Aska trained, was filled with broken down robots. Some were completely destroyed, while others had a small hole going through the center of it.

"Its 5:30, Aska. It's time to wrap this up" - Power Loader's voice sounded in the training ground

"Just one more wave please" - Aska said back

"This will be the last one" - Power Loader

Aska felt that he was close, just one more push and he'll get it; the ability he wanted to achieve for so long

The robots came towards Aska, and he attacked them again. While he was attacking the three pointers, he kept using his lightning around his body, and even under his skin. Out of nowhere a zero pointer punched from above, Aska jumped to the side, just barely enough for his body to get out of the way, but not his arm. His left arm got squashed between a three pointer's body and the zero pointer's punch.

'Finally!' - Aska was happy.

*Chirp!* thousands of birds chirped and the robots around were blown away.

"Thank you for your time Mr. Power Loader. I'm done for today" - Aska

"Anytime, kid" - Power Loader

Aska ran to the changing room for a quick shower, before leaving.

Aska went back to his house later and had dinner with his parents. And went to sleep right away.

The next morning, he did the same. He went to the school, but this time he didn't have any robots around. He wanted a quite place where he can focus on his new ability.

Aska's few days off, passed in peace. First day back to school,

"Alright class, I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. Now we have to talk about something that could and probably will affect your careers as heroes" - Mr. Aizawa said as he entered the class

Everyone got nervous hearing what Mr. Aizawa said.

"It's time to pick your hero names" - Mr. Aizawa

The class felt relived hearing what he said. As if on que, Ms. Midnight walks in,

"This is very important so pay close attention and pick carefully. Or there will be hell to pay later. Am I clear?" - Ms. Midnight

"Yes Ma'am" - The class was too excited to pay any attention to her warning

"Alright, I'll be handing out white boards and markers, write down your names on them, then come up on the board to show your name" - Ms. Midnight

"We're presenting our names?!" - Kirishima

"Do you want to be a pro hero or not? You have to show off your name, or you'll never become successful. Who wants to go first?" - Ms. Midnight

"I'll go first" - Bakugo stood up

'huh? He's going first?' - Aska was interested in Bakugo's name pick

"Well, come on up" - Ms. Midnight

"LORD EXPLOSION MURDER!" - Bakugo

"Same old, same old" - Aska sighed

"That's so weird, long, aggressive and villainous" - Ms. Midnight

"What did you say?! This is a great name! If you get scared from just my name then you're a worthless weakling!!!" - Bakugo

"How about I give you a suggestion Bakugo?" - Aska spoke up from his seat.

Bakugo stared at Aska for a second, "What is it?" - Bakugo

"Who's your favorite hero" - Aska

"All Might" - Bakugo

"Then how about we use his name as a base. 'Might' is a good name, since you have an explosion quirk, how about Dynamite (Dyna Might). What do you think?" - Aska

"I'll think about it" - Bakugo walked back to his seat

Momo stood up next, "I have a name. I came up with this name when I was young. The everything hero: Creati"

"Sounds good. Fantastic pick" - Ms. Midnight sounded excited

"Really?" - Aska asked, interrupting Ms. Midnight

"You have something to add, Aska" - Momo

"Your name is your identity as a hero. Try something more creative. No pun intended" - Aska

"Like what?" - Momo wanted to hear his idea

"How about, The creation hero: Autogenic? Or the creation hero: Genesis? Those are more badass, and sound heroic. I personally like Genesis. Makes it sound like you're some goddess or something" - Aska shrugged

"I like Genesis as well. I'll think more about it, but most likely I'll go with that" - Momo sat back down

"Alright! I'll go next" - Ashido ran up to the front of the class

"Acid hero: Pinky" - Ashido said, and then looked at Aska waiting for him to comment about her hero name, but he said nothing back.

"I'll go next" - Iida stood up "I will take the name my grandfather had. The engine hero: Fragor. It's an old-school name, but I like it" - Iida

Aska nodded his head in approval, and Iida sighed in relief

"I want to get this out of the way, So I'll go" - Todoroki said as he calmly stood up and walked to the front of the class. "I'll go by Shoto"

"Really? You must put some thought into this. You do know that being a hero can endanger you and your family. That's why most choose to have a mask on. You have to use another name, other than your actual legal name" - Aska cut in before Ms. Midnight had any chance to comment.

"Then what do you suggest" - Todoroki

"How about Crux, or Equinox or Flux. All these are great names for a hero with ice and fire powers" - Aska

"I think Flux is a good name" - Todoroki didn't put much thought to it, and decided right away

"Alright who wants to go next?" - Ms. Midnight

"I'll go" - Kirishima stood up in front of the class, though he turned to Aska, almost like he was asking for his permission to use the name.

"The sturdy hero: Red Riot" - Kirishima held his breath while looking at Aska. He was waiting for a name suggestion from Aska, but all he got back was a nod of approval.

"Me next!" - Hagakure ran to the front. She held up the small white board, "The invisible hero: Invisible girl" - Hagakure read

Aska nodded again, he knew he couldn't pick a badass name for each of them, but he knew that he can help the ones he thought could do better when it comes to the naming

Uraraka stood up, "It's my turn"

"I wanted to go for Uravity. But I thought about it just now. I came up with Levity" - Uraraka sounded nervous, but Aska nodded back with confirmation

"Sounds great! It suites you great" - Ms. Midnight said in an enthusiastic tone

"I decided" - Bakugo stood back up. "I'll go with the explosive hero: Dynamite" - Bakugo walked back to his seat

"I decided as well. I'll be, The creation hero: Genesis" - Momo

After that some more people picked their names. Everyone else had their own names from the original show.

The only ones left were Aska, Takashi, and Midoriya.

"Out of everyone, we have you three left. Which one of you wants to get up here" - Ms. Midnight

"I'll go" - Takashi stood up and grabbed the white board and walked up to the front. "The name I picked is, Stereo" - Takashi showed his board

"That sounds wonderful" - Ms. Midnight said as she chuckled at her own pun

"Alright. There is no need to delay it any longer" - Midoriya walked to the front of the class

"I chose my hero name. Deku" - Midoriya

"Are you sure?" - Kirishima said

"Yeah, man. Pick something else" - Kaminari

"No. I thought about it. This name is the name of a hero now" - Midoriya

The determination in Midoriya's eyes, was enough for all of them to not question it anymore

"Lastly is you Minamoto, why don't you come up here. You seemed to be good at picking names, so I'm looking forwards to your hero name" - Ms. Midnight

Aska got up, walked to the front of the class, "My hero name is..."
