It took mom some convincing, but she said yes eventually.
The next day, dad and mom are dropping me off at the airport.
"Don't get used to it" - Mom said in a slightly angry voice
"Get used to what?" - Aska
"To bribing me. I let it slide since this is your first time, but I don't take bribes!" - Mom said as she remembered the baby clothes I bought yesterday.
"Yes ma'am!" - Aska
"That's not true, she always takes bribes" - Dad whispered to me
Walking towards the security check, I made my way towards the flight gate. Once I got to the gate, I saw Mr. Zenitsu and Yujiro waiting there.
"You're here runt! You look stronger, GOOD! If you had gotten any weaker, I would've killed you" - Yujiro
"Good to see you too Yujiro. Hope I'm not late, Mr. Zenitsu" - Aska greeted Yujiro before turning to Mr. Zenitsu
"I'm glad you can make it. We will board the plane in 30 minutes, so you're on time actually" - Mr. Zenitsu
After that we just waited for the plane to start boarding.
30 minutes later and the three of us were on the plane, we had business class seats, so it was actually very comfortable, Yujiro wasn't happy though.
"You're just too big" - Mr. Zenitsu

The flight was long, it took 23 hours to reach Venezuela. Almost a whole day in the sky, Yujiro kept complaining about the small seats, Mr. Zenitsu was meditating the whole time, or was he sleeping, who knows
Landing in Venezuela, we took a taxi to Lake Maracaibo.
We arrived at a small marina, where a bunch of small speed boats were tied. When we got there we saw a small boat with a guy waiting for us.
"Zenitsu! I see you made it this year as well" - A middle aged Venezuelan guy shouted
"Hey Mauricio. Yeah, I wouldn't miss this year no matter what" - Mr. Zenitsu
"Who's this?" - Yujiro asked
"This is Mauricio. He's the tour guide that I hire every year. He knows this lake like the back of his hand, he'll take us to the best spot to watch the lightning phenomena" - Me. Zenitsu
"C'mon you three, we will head to the village, and then we will head out around sunset to the viewing area" - Mauricio
"The village?" - Aska asked as he got on the boat
"Yes, the nearest place to the area where the lightning will be is called Ologa. It's a village build on stilts. It's where I grew up" - Mauricio
"I see" - Aska
After we got on the boat, we started making our way to the small village.
"Tell me about your village" - Aska was interested in this village
"In my village we call lake Maracaibo the lightning capital. Lightning to us is a very special thing. We view it as the respect of nature" - Mauricio
"That sounds cool" - Aska
"Yes, it is. I remember the first time I saw the lightning show as a kid. It's magnificent. I never saw anything like it till this day. My grandfather used to tell us that lightning is a sign of strength and fortitude" - Mauricio
"How many people come to this area to see the lightning show" - Aska
"Lightning strikes 300 nights a year. So we have lightning almost all year long. There are a lot of people who are interested in lightning. So we get a steady flow of tourists all year long. But today the weather experts had predicted a massive lightning storm. So more people came today" - Mauricio
Aska watched as the speed boat made it's way towards the village. The water of the lake was dark in color, but his observation haki picked up on many animals, insects, alligators, and even some sharks
"Are there sharks in this lake?" - Aska was confused
"Sharp eyes young man. Yes, bull sharks make their way from the north; the gulf of Venezuela, and use this lake as a nursery. But don't worry, most sharks are infants, so no real threat to the boat" - Mauricio
A couple hours of traveling, and they finally made it to Ologa village. The village was built on silts, and it's small in size. It looked like small houses floating on top of water.
"This is my home, Ologa" - Mauricio
"It's nice" - Aska
"You don't have to be nice, I know it's not the prettiest village in the world, but thanks" - Mauricio
After landing, we got to walk around a bit. Some houses were almost stranded alone with no connection to other houses around it. While other houses had small wooden bridges built between. It took as about 30 minutes to walk through the whole village, it was that small.
"Alright, we will move in an hour, get some rest, and we'll move then" - Mauricio took us to a small hut, with a few chairs and a bed.
Mr. Zenitsu sat on the porch in front of the small hut, and started to breath deeply.
"You feel it too, don't you, Aska" - Mr. Zenitsu
"Yes, the air is so full of electric charges" - Aska
"You're right, but focus more." - Mr. Zenitsu
"I can feel positive charges near the ground and water surface, while negative charges up higher in the air." - Aska
"Correct. Simply put, inside a cloud the lower part of the cloud is mainly composed of heavy negative charges, while the upper part of the cloud is composed of the positive charges. Like charges repel, so the charges in the cloud affect the charges on the water surface, pushing away the negative and attracting the positive. When the charges reach a certain limit they connect, and cause lightning strikes. Of course this is just an elementary explanation" - Mr. Zenitsu
Aska looked up at the cloudy sky, and kept watching as he expanded his observation haki, coupled with his natural ability to sense electricity, he was able to feel the charges above.
An hour passes, and Mauricio comes back to pick them up. They jumped into the same speed boat, they got to a small island somewhere in the lake. The island is the size of a house, it's very small, it was more of a big rock than a small island.
"We'll watch the lightning from here" - Mauricio took out some foldable chairs and handed it to the group as they climbed atop the big rock, then Mauricio took out a small beach cooler. There were some drinks in the cooler.
"Here you go, I got beer for you just like you asked" - Mauricio handed Yujiro his beer
"This is for you Zenitsu, and you too young man" - Mauricio handed them some soda drinks
The four of them sat there looking at the sky, and suddenly lightning strikes started to show, though they were still small
"Is that all?" - Yujiro
"Just wait, it gets better" - Mauricio
The lightning got brighter, and more frequent.
*RUMBLE ZAP RUMBLE ZAP BOOM*
Lightning started to sound all around.
The water shook with every lightning strike. The creatures living underwater swam deeper into the lake.
Aska watched a small bolt, spread across the cloud and then reach another cloud, the bolt expanded and became more intertwined with other bolts around it.
A bolt came from the top par of a cloud and struck farther away from the rest of the bolts.
The next second, lightning gathered in one spot, and it gathered together, then became a condensed ball like shape
The group watched the show without blinking. Even Yujiro sat there quietly while watching.
Aska was the one who saw the most. He saw inside the cloud with his observation haki, and he was already excited, he had an idea. He wanted to achieve something that he couldn't in a long time.
The group of four stayed all night watching. Next morning around sunrise, the lightning strikes stopped.
"It's time to go back" - Mauricio
"Aska. Let's go" - Mr. Zenitsu
Aska followed the group as they went back to the village. After Mauricio filled the boat back up with fuel, the group went back to the marina.
"Thank you so much Mauricio" - Mr. Zenitsu
"No problems. See you next year. I'll go back now, I'll sleep all day" - Mauricio didn't wait around and left after dropping the three of them off
The three took another taxi to the same airport, and waited for their return flight. They had to wait about five hours in the airport before the flight took off.
Yujiro fell asleep standing, Aska also slept in a corner while covering himself with his hoodie.
Mr. Zenitsu was the only one who stayed up. He was afraid they'd miss their flight. After five hours, Mr. Zenitsu woke them up as the plane had started boarding passengers
Aska, and Yujiro woke up till they got to their seats, and the two of them feel back asleep once they got to their seats
*23 hours later*
The three of them finally made it back to Japan, Yujiro and Mr. Zenitsu, didn;t leave the airport, they had to take another flight back home on Nabu island.
Outside the gate, Aska saw his parents waiting for him.
"Welcome back Aska. How was it?" - Mom
"It was great actually. I'm tired from all the traveling, but I'll soon start to train in some of the moves I thought of while watching the lightning show" - Aska
"I'm glad to hear that. Lets go home" - Dad
The drive back home was quite, Aska was thinking back to what he saw, he even started to think of different ways to improve his current abilities, plus new moves.
Some time later, they made it back home. After getting home Aska sent an email to Mr. Aizawa. Aska asked for permission to use the training facilities the next few days.
Later that day, Aska got back a response from his teacher.
