Lovers squabble

When we arrived we immediately went to the garden where all the decorations and chairs were set out for the occasion. It was his birthday all the same why was it at my house, I could not get my finger around it.

I wore a ballroom green dress that brought out my pale green eyes, it had diamonds at the edges and a pair of stilettos. Andrew and I were arguing over whose team would win the horse race match we betted on earlier that day, in truth I was doing most of the talking.

" Randy would win he is the fastest. You will see " I said bragging.

" He can not win, except if Jonas Dean drugs him again "

" What are you implying, "I said slightly agitated.

" What do you think ? " he sneered back.

" Randy is naturally fast, and I don't regret betting Five hundred bucks on him "

" How much, did you not enjoy being robbed yesterday " he smiled wickedly teasing me.

I laughed and said  "  I thought we agreed to leave the past behind "

           " Lovers squabble ? " a familiar voice ejected.

        " Aziel," Andrew said calculatedly.

Aziel wore a blue tuxedo. It was the latest from brilliant designer Coco Chanel. It was anything but simple. His wavy hairstyle and stubble beard gave him a more manly standout and frightening aura. His gaze narrowed and he gritted his teeth at Andrew.

Seeing the sparks flying out I closed my half-covered mouth and said " Hi "

There was a moment of silence till a waiter who passed around with a tray stopped Aziel.

" Whiskey sour or Mojito, " Aziel asked charmingly.

" Are you out of servants, in which you decided to serve yourself? I would borrow you some " Andrew spoke mockingly pulling me closer to him.

I stare at Aziel uncontrollably, trying to look normal. Gosh, why can't I say one normal freaking word? Say something Dumbo.

" I don't need your outcast " Aziel spoke in a breath as a bitter remark.

My heart rate palpitated, at the thought of them causing yet another scene. " Thank you besides I don't longer drink "I lied skillfully.

At that moment Andrew burst into a fit of laughter which was unusual. " You don't drink, a day ago you were so drunk you ... "

Before he could finish the sentence, I clasped my hand in his mouth. Stopping him from talking by using my eyes to threaten him.

Surprisingly he licked my hand, I pulled it away immediately and faced Aziel.

Clasping my hands together repeatedly i said " So what is the big announcement. Is it important "

" It is a game changer . It's going to change our lives " Aziel said frigidly.

I thought it was supposedly a joke , i laughed hard and said " For the better ? "

He only smiled strangely. I took a long sip of my mojito mint breavage . Alcohol has always been an escape from my depressing life away i could express myself without any fear from possible outcomes.

Right before I could begin another discussion, my mom waved at me from my bedroom window. She looked paler and sad. I can't tell but something change from when i met her in the airport

" See ya," I said trying to sound cool. As I virtually run from there.

I appeared in my bedroom minutes later and I see my poor dad with a titled neck in a wheelchair. The investigation on who pushed him off the roof a year ago was not done yet and the perpetrator was regardlessly out there.

My feeble father sat on his wheelchair in tears, saliva ran down from the corner of his mouth .

Gobbled up by emotions i commenced crying silently, only tears let my cheek cold . Without a single word i wiped the saliva from his mouth with my handkerchief affectionately, After all he was my father .

My helpless mother cried hard on my shoulder. I stroked her back in response to let her know i am here .  She kept on crying.
