Chapter 11 The Encounter with the Red Ribbon army

"Sir. There is an unidentified flying object coming toward our headquarters." A bald tall dark-skinned man in a suit said to the red-haired man with an eyepatch sitting on a chair.

"Shoot it down. It might be an enemy drone or a plane that carries bombs. Since that is not ours the worst-case scenario is that we shot down a passenger plane that was just flying by." The red hair man said.

"Yes sir." The dark skin man named Colonel Black replied.

At that time.

"I have to say this dark nimbus that the cat gave me is quite useful," Vegito said.

Then he saw an object flying in his direction.

It was a missile but because of his lack of modern weaponry, he didn't know what it was and failed to dodge the attack as the missile hit him and the dark nimbus.

"Ahhhh." It was quite painful and if he was still in his previous body this will kill him for sure but because of his new body, he was able to tank it.

But since it was still the first weapon that was able to injure him as the dark nimbus disappeared temporarily and Vegito fell to the ground.

He looked up and noticed that he was surrounded by numerous people who appeared to be soldiers as they aimed their weapons at him.

"Freeze. Who are you? And why are you in our territory?" One of the soldiers asked.

"I am surprised that he survived the missile." another soldier commented.

If Vegito truly wanted to he could take down the whole army by himself with the power that he accumulated but he didn't know, how he will fare against an army and according to his past life experiences if he decided to go berserk and face an entire army by himself he will surely die so instead of fighting against them he decided that he will surrender first and think of a counter-attack after gathering some information.

After that, he was taken into a cell accompanied by multiple soldiers to prevent escape.

They arrived at the place where multiple cells are located.

"You get in there. Commander Red will come and interrogate you later. Don't even think of escaping." One of the soldiers threatened as he pushed Vegito into the cell.

[Rain while it pours then. If I found out how to deal with this he will be the first one to die]

Vegito curses in his mind.

As he walked into the cell.

It was an empty cell will spiderwebs and dust everywhere. But it didn't matter to him as this was not his first time getting captured.

"I have to warn you commander red has a short temper so here is a tip don't insult or mention his height." One of the guards said to Vegito as Vegito waited to see the Commander.

"Hey. Why are you working here in the first place?" Vegito asked the guard who give him a tip about the commander.

For him, this was not a time to be prideful but a time where he have to use everything he can to get much info as possible.

"Well the pay is quite good and they arranged a nice place for me to stay in. And they even let me recommend my family members or friends to the red paramedics." The guard soon opened up.

"Be mindful I am only telling you about this because I knew you are going to die soon so please don't tell anyone that I tell you that information." The guard said.

"Don't worry I won't," Vegito reassured the guard.

He knew that after a conversation like that there is no way that he can acquire information without making an enemy out of the guard so he waited for the time to meet commander red.

Then he heard fast but quiet footsteps coming in his direction.

It must be commender red.

He thought as if he is true that short he didn't need as much time as a normal human to take a step and his weight might not exceed the average grown normal human.

Vegito smiled slowly as the chance of finding out what is happening is closing near.
