Chapter 10 The Strange Hermit

Age 742. (Vegito reaches age 11)

While Vegito was lying on the dark nimbus and travelling around the world to explore the world he was in he then saw a small house surrounded by a Vast sea.

"Kame house?" Vegito said as he read the text imprinted on the house as he landed on the island.

"Who are you?" an old man appeared behind his back as he was standing on a giant turtle asked.

"Are you the owner of the house?" Vegito asked.

He was trespassing someone else property but as a person who was from a war-centred time, he didn't care about things like that.

Luckily for him, the universe that he was in also didn't care about that kind of thing as the old man introduced himself.

"I am the great turtle hermit. So what are you doing here?" Turtle hermit who was also called master roshi asked Vegito.

He was a bald old man with a thick white moustache and a beard. He was also wearing a pair of sunglasses, an orange Hawaiian shirt, white shorts and flip-flops.

"I am Vegito. I am travelling around the world to search for my place."Vegito said.

"You sound just like that pink guy with a camera that was on the Tv once." Master roshi said.

"Why are you here? Do you want anything from me?" Master roshi said.

"No reason I just stopped here for a moment because I was bored," Vegito replied.

"I see. A shame that you are a boy. If you are a peachy young girl I would have invited you into my house for a drink." Master roshi said.

"No need I was just going to leave anyway," Vegito said as he hopped onto the dark nimbus.

"Wait. Is that Kintoun(flying nimbus or summer salt cloud)?"Master Roshi asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Vegito asked.

"Do you know the great master korin?" Master roshi asked.

"...."

After a while master roshi invited Vegito into his house for a drink after finding out that they have the same master.

"Ahhhh. That hits the spot." The huge turtle said as he drinks a bucket of seawater.

"You look so young how did you even pass Master's training? And how long did it take?"Master Roshi asked.

"..... So you also trained under the white cat?" Vegito asked as he ignored Roshi's question.

"It takes me three years to obtain the holy water and finished my training. I even tried to catch him in his sleep but it was useless." Master Roshi answered.

"Three years?" Vegito said in surprise.

Maybe I was lucky. Vegito thought as he listened to everything that master roshi said about Korin during his training at the tower.

"He once mentioned to me that there is an area that you can access if you have a pure heart and enough strength. At that time I had a pure heart but my strength isn't good enough to get there." Master Roshi said.

"I believed he also mentioned something like that to me too,"Vegito said.

His tone of the speech was starting to get more and more respectful as he found out more about roshi.

Of course, he didn't see the true personality of the hermit and If he did there is no chance that he will accumulate such respect for the old hermit.

"Hey, Vegito was it? O don't normally accept students but Do you want to learn a technique that I developed myself after my training with Master korin?" Master roshi gave an offer to Vegito.

"Sorry. But I plan to explore this world a little more before I make my decision." He gave a half-baked answer.

Of course, he didn't have travelling as his priority but he didn't want to learn from someone who has the same masters as him.

As his pride was not able to take it.

"I see." master roshi said in disappointment.

"Well, it's time for me to leave," Vegito said as he got off the place where he was sitting and opened the exit door.

Then he hopped onto the Dark nimbus and disappeared into the sky while Master roshi looked at his back.

"Ahhh. Sea water is truly the best." At that time the turtle was having the time of his life.
