Rui's back hit the ground. Hard.
Not wasting a moment, she turned the fall into a roll as a massive stomp landed right where she'd been. She had enough momentum to roll back into a stand, and she did so, raising her fists as she squared off once more with her opponent, a bloodied smile on her lips, fed by the scrape on her forehead.
Her opponent was twice her size, and definitely looked just a bit too mature for secondary school. He had a broad chest and well-developed arms, but as Rui had figured out his core was a little weak. He was definitely not a slouch when it came to fighting though, not if the martial arts uniform and black belt he was wearing wasn't for show.
How she got into this situation was her own fault...
