chapter 4: were all sick

Next day

So I woke up and I was super happy. Today we play our first show at download. So I got my offutt out and I was going to wear a black tank top. It had a running sugar skull. But this was my offutt:

Shirt: black tank top sugar skull print

Shorts: red ( ripped fishnet under)

Shoes: black Harley Quinn combat boots

Colored contacts: left: red, right: green cat eye

Accessories: cross necklace, black leather cut off fingerless gloves.

Makeup: half skull.

But I got dressed and did my makeup. I realized it was almost time and we weren't that far from the venue area, so I texted the guys and told them get ready. They said, we are already ready and down stairs in the lobby. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my stuff. Meaning my phone, sharpies, pens and my water bottle.

But I went down stairs and I saw them outside, " hey gu- that is f**king huge" I saw this RV thing, it was massive. " get in this is what we are taking to download. So get in." I walked in and it was dark but let a cold chill. I spoke, " this is so cool." I saw Christine driving and I said, " hi." She waved back and said " okay now let's go you have to be there at twelve." We sat down and well we drove to the venue.

It took about twenty minutes, but we found a back road and it was near the east stage so short walk. Haha. But we stopped and walked out one by one. And I saw a glimpse of the crowd. Holy demon unicorn. Yes I know and I do not care but there was probably over a million people here. I then felt nervous.

But Christine said, " hey don't be nervous just go out there and have fun" I nodded and we stepped to the side, and well I didn't realize but we were next. So axel got my attention, and he was the last before me but I took a deep breath and went out. Okay I am going to possibly throw up.

I have never been this nervous. But I just surrounded myself with my music. And that helped a lot. But we finished our set and I had to find a trash can I was holding in my stomach for three hours. I finally found one and I won't say this. But dj and axel ran to me and asked, " you alright Haley?" I nodded yes, " yeah I was just nervous.

And I have to get used to it for tomorrow." They gave me a hug and well we had a meet and greet and on our way to the tent we met a few fans, they are so supportive. But we got to the tent and I looked more pale than usual.

These three girls came up to me and asked, " are you alright?" I nodded yes, " we were just wondering because you look out of discoloration. But we are huge fans, and well could we have a hug." I nodded and this is so cute, just fans like them are who created this band, and well to how we are here.

So after our meet and greet we headed back to the bus and we were about to head back but Christine got a message saying, " hey guys, you have a last minute interview, so get out. And go to the blue and black tent." We walked out and well axel and Nikki were trying to annoy me. Which they did so I had to chase them.

And well I stopped half way and they just kept running, dj and Jake were laughing. " how long do you think they will run?" I asked, dj said, " probably until they find the tent." I laughed. So we got to the tent and they were there. Still panting and out of breath. I laughed, " you do know that I stopped half way. Right?" They looked at me like what. And this interviewer was a girl and dj was having gogo eyes and in about a minute I think he was going to drool.

I smacked him in the head. Then motioned my eyes and we switched spots. I saw him smirk a little. But this was pretty short only a half hour this time. " okay so this question is for dj." He nodded okay, " so people have been asking this for a while and I think we deserve an answer. Who would be the most mature out of the band?" Dj replied, " I think I would be really. Because,haley, axel, and Nikki are wild ones.

Haley has cut down with partying but she is really a bookworm when she is around us so. I still think I would be the most mature." I heard Jake laugh a little. I rolled my eyes. " okay next question. Haley, a few fans were wondering, how many tattoos you have and guys you can answer this too." I have to think, " I think eight. And I don't even know how many piercings. But I do know that Nikki and Jake do not have any." She looked to them and asked, " is this true?" They nodded yes.

" what about you axel?" " I really don't know I don't keep track since they spread like a virus." I laughed, and he was right. But the next question she asked was, " okay so today you played amazing, and how do you feel for playing main stage tomorrow?" Axel went first, " well I think we can all agree it will be really cool, different and amazing.

But it is going to be a new experience for us. And I think we are willing to take a challenge." I nodded out of a lie. And they guys agreed. " okay so I heard you are making a third album, could you possibly tell us about that?" Nikki went, " only that it is halfway done, and well you will have to see next year." We really couldn't tell a lot yet but, only tiny detail.

" well do you plan to know when it will be out?" They looked to me, " don't look at me ask Christine. She is the boss." They laughed, and well we had a good time. We can't keep to being serious though. It can never happen. But we finished with the interview and I could hear the guy's stomach growling.

So I said as we were leaving, " okay are you guys hungry? I think you should eat before your stomach eats your insides." They laugh and we went back to the hotel and got changed then went out to eat. We got pizza and they were fighting like savage bears. I really thought i was going to die of laughing so much. But I asked, " so dj are you done making googly eyes now." He blushed. I was surprised, " don't worry we won't tell. Just might joke around a little."

" okay now to album. What is the name for the cover?" They had a look on there face but I knew what they were thinking. " what about caged virus?" " I like it. It is unique. But what will the cover be?" Nikki replied, and I spoke, " I could talk to a old friend of mine. She has a good artistic hand. She drew my grim reaper tattoo."

They looked at me and they basically agreed. So that was settled, " okay now tonight we have to get some sleep since we are playing main stage tomorrow. And I promise I will not puke my lungs out again. At least try to anyways." They laughed at my awkward humor.

But we got a pizza To Go, because I knew the guys were going to be munching tomorrow. Hey I am not the only one that lightly stress eats. But since we jump around on stage I stay tiny. But we went back to our rooms and I stayed up a little and read, it was dead silent and you could hear a pin drop.

I was then scared out of my skin when our manager walked in. " damn Christine, you scared the living nightmares out of me." I won't say daylight I don't like the sun, period. I am human so. I am not a creature. But I say nightmares because of my favorite slasher movie. Elm street. So after that happened I went to bed.
