The last thing he remembered before waking up in bed with a waiting maid was Cyril throwing down his cell phone and calling the story he was reading trash. He couldn't believe he was trapped in a story he called trash as a character who would be beheaded after trying to kill the Crown Prince on his wedding day. I am doomed to die? Is that true?

An important moment where every human in the desolate maga-cities unlocks their Talent, a unique ability to carve a path in this monster-plagued apocalyptic world. Alister Hazenworth, a graduating student, and a rising star at the prestigious Aegis Academy, was destined for greatness. His exceptional athleticism and magical aptitude promise a powerful Talent – a guarantee for a secure life and social status. But fate had different plans. During Alister's Awakening ceremony, it's revealed that he's a Summoner. Instead of admiration, he faces mockery. His once bright future turns bleak as his "friends" desert him for Talents they see as more "useful." left alone, Alister awakens a system. [Host found, system binding...] [System binded successfully.] [Congrats, you have gain the status of 'player'.] [Ding!! Congrats to the player for awakening The Dragonforge - an overlord system.] [Ding!! it has been detected that the player possesses a latent draconic aspect, and as such will only be able to summon dragons!!] [Will the player like to proceed with their first summoning?] Cast aside and underestimated, Alister becomes a force to be reckoned with. He embarks on a journey, building his own dragon army – a crew of majestic wyverns, fearsome drakes, and ancient wyrms. He raids the wastelands, reclaims lost resources, and dismantles the prejudice against summoners. Every day, his power grows, his bond with his dragons deepens, and his legend spreads like wildfire. [A/N: This is a slow paced novel, don't expect the protagonist to suddenly start out overpowered and start dominating left and right, he will become an overlord of dragons, yes, but it will take time. The Witch Hunter System

Dual cultivation isn't a choice; it's a necessity. After being struck by a truck like most lucky protagonists (or unlucky ones), Vaan found himself transmigrated into the body of an orphan in the world of witches and demons. However, they didn't always exist. Demons terrorized the world ever since the Gehenna Realm descended over 300 years ago. but along with them, came mana, giving birth to witches to combat these demons. Since then, the world of men was dominated by witches, establishing the seven witch kingdoms, which safeguards at the forefront of the demon invasion. In order to survive in the matriarchal society of the witch kingdoms, Vaan, like all other men who cannot use magic, had to learn how to service the witches to survive. Nevertheless, it did not come without its own benefits. Years of research have led the world to the discovery of intimacy between men and women could increase the witches' mana absorption. But at the same time, men could absorb some of this mana to improve their physique and lifespan. Thus, since then, an intricate relationship was formed between men and witches in the red-light districts. Love became casual, and dual cultivation is common. As a prodigy in the art of pleasing women, Vaan lived a smooth two years since his transmigration as an orphan. However, everything came crashing down in a heartbeat one day when his life was nearly taken, and Lady Eniwse whom he served went berserk. Even so, that was not the end. With the awakening of the Witch Hunter System, watch how Vaan takes on the world and becomes the lord of witches. ===== Genre: [Mature Content] [R-18] [Smut] [Magic] [Witches] [Demons] [Spirits] [Dragons] [Beasts] [Reincarnation] [Adventure] [Action] [Mystery] [Academy] [Weak-to-Strong] [Scheming MC] [Harem] [System] [Servants] [Slaves] [Smart MC] [Alchemy] [Forging] [Misunderstandings] [Game Elements] [Kingdom-Building] [Overpowered MC] ===== Note: Contains lemons. I think i can't continue this book. While the first chapter was interesting and seemed to promise many good things , i'm finally left disappointed. Don't get me wrong. The story isn't bad. It's just that i can't get into it. - The pros : . Transmigration is well done( we saw a glimpse of mc's original life and he doesn't adapts directly ro his new environment , nor does he realise quickly that he is in a novel.) . The writing( although with some fruits here and there) is really of too quality, for a novel of this platform . . The Mc's life is not smooth sailing since the start. . The first chapter is one of the best introductory chapters i saw on this platform( simple yet effective). . The author is dedicated - The cons : First, the Mc. I pity him but he is honestly sooooo irritating . He is afraid of what might happen to him but he always let the flow of the story drive him, as if he can't think of a plan for himself. Plus, he is always frustrated , not calcalutive at all( which he should be a minimum), and "frank" in a dumb way ( who would show their boss that they despise him or do not want to do their assignated task? Your life DEPENDS on the crown prince so you ought to at least pretend and behave in front of him. But the Mc doesn't even do that. ) . I can accept a Mc with an average brain. But if this one isn't hard working enough to compensate for his/ her weaknesses , if he/she is frustrated by his/her situation but doesn't lift a finger to get out of it and only goes with the flow, then he/she is not worth it. Plus, what is even his personality? Even after reading 17 chapters , i get the feeling that i don't know him. A part from not being a "light" , being frustrated about his situation, being the Mc ... (i don't even know what to say about him besides this three points , which proves even more that i don't know him) ...What defines him? And if one tells me to wait for more chapters before giving my opinion i will disagree with him/her, because the early chapters of a book are supposed to be the appetizers. If i find them this bad, how much longer should i hang on for good chapters to come, while i can invest my time in seaching for better works? Second, The atmosphere in the book. This point is personal. I don't like the atmosphere in the book. I like it better when a book switches between different tones. In this one however , i get the feeling that everything is always serious, which is a bummer for me . The author could have added comedy ( although he/she tried often but failed at it) , and some lighthearted moments( The author could have given him at least one friend). Or any other thing that wouldn’t make it so hard to digest. Third, the pace and the writing. I can understand that this type of plots needs time to unfurl. However, i get the feeling that nothing really important happens( it is too slow or too uneventful). When i read the title of the book, i prepare myself for a good dive in conspiracy and scheming. But there isn't much( if any), where i'm at. Then how about action? The same! I didn’t witness that much action and when it happened it didn’t drew me in. Like i said above, the first chapters are supposed to draw one to a book's story . However this book's 2 to 17 chapters failed at keeping the interest the first chapter earned it. Overall it's not a bad book. It's maybe that it is too low for the expectations that i had .
