"Your Honour?"
Borneo entered again from the door, without Fearish. Algis raised his head and smiled. "I'm fine," he replied.
"I will prepare tea, Your Majesty!" Borneo is back again.
However, just as the door opened there was a huge explosion. Then something that looked like fine dust slipped in and made an uncomfortable feeling. Borneo quickly ran back to Algis, looking at him worriedly.
"Are you all right, Your Majesty? There might be another assailant," said the Algis servant.
However, Algis didn't think so. "We will catch up with Adelman.."
Maybe something had happened where Adelman and one of the seventh knights named Cyril were. What if it was an explosion while trying to warp. What if Cyril doesn't succeed in the end and ends up hurting himself instead.
If that's the case then, it's his fault. Because of his desire to get to Adriana's place faster, Algis had killed a knight who had so much potential.
Borneo preceded Algis moving towards the archive room which was also the magic research room in the Varden Fortress. After several turns, Algis quickly saw a door leaf that had been broken in two. In addition, the wall around the door has also been broken.
The white dust that reached his room came from this place as expected.
"Count Adelman!" exclaimed Algis.
Borneo stopped Algis as he got closer to Aldeman who was sprawled among the rubble of the door. "Wait here, Your Majesty! Let me check!"
Algis nodded and turned towards the hole where the broken door was. Did Cyril die in the explosion? Or he was sucked in by the warp he was trying to make. Either way is not a good thing.
"Oh my, how could the crystal explode as soon as I touched it!"
Algis widened his eyes in disbelief. Cyril waved his hand to shake off the dust around him and then came out of the hole that had originally been the door. Then he squatted near Adelman who was moving slowly and sat down.
"Are you all right, Count Adelman?" asked Cyril.
"Are you both okay?" Algis walked closer, ignoring Borneo's request. He also squatted near Adelman.
"I am fine, Your Majesty!"
Helped by Borneo Adelman to stand up. Then he looked closely at Cyril who looked shabby with dust. Next, the leader of the Varden Fortress let out a heavy sigh. "In reality, very few people can make the crystal clear, Mr. Cyril. You make it explode."
Algis turned his head quickly, feeling a slight pain in his neck from the sudden movement. "The crystal measuring the magic exploded."
"Yes, the crystal shone and then exploded when it was in Lord Cyril's hands. Do you still want to think you can't warp with the amount of magic you have?"
Cyril tilted his head, trying to digest what people were saying to him. Then he looked surprised and shook his head hard. "There's no way I can do that."
"I hope you can help His Highness the prince." Adelman's words sounded mundane, but they were orders.
Algis hopes that one day he can control people like Adelman now.

The pile of parchments was in front of Cyril, suddenly after he heard Adelman's order. The researchers who were driven out for lunch in the castle's dining room went back inside after running outside when they heard an explosion. They screamed in frustration when they saw the hole in the door. Adelman who finally calmed the researchers then ordered the people to hand over all the formulas about warp. A large map of the kingdom was also spread out on another table brought in from outside the knights.
"So when that person touches the magic ball, booomm! It exploded, threw Count Adelman out, and punched a hole in the door."
Cyril closed one eye annoyed. Adelman, who was standing guard beside him, cleared his throat when he realized it and glared warningly. But the researchers who like to gossip did not stop, even though the sound was only like a gust of wind now.
"How about your mastery development?"
Cyril lifted his gaze from the parchment containing magic formulas, usage descriptions, and a few other extras. "I understand the theory sir, but I'm not sure I can make it!"
"Then you have to convince yourself to make it in one go!" Adelman demanded.
He had no other choice now. So he went back to all the things that had to be learned in this room with Adelman watching his seriousness.
"Isn't His Majesty just worrying too much about Princess Adriana? What a terrible thing that would happen to a future crown princess in her own home."
Adelman didn't answer quickly, watching Cyril for a while. "You're from the common people, aren't you, Knight Cyril."
Taking another parchment, Cyril answered, "Yes."
"For nobles, pure blood is a matter of pride. When a child of a noble and a commoner is born, it is like seeing an alien being. They become wary and disgusted."
Cyril knew that feeling. When he was still himself was only the son of a farmer in a past life, when his friends had abilities above him, he got that kind of feeling.
However, whatever Adriana feels that will be the cause of her death doesn't matter now. He just needs to live.
Cyril rolled up the parchment he had finished reading, placing it in its original place. This time Adelman approached, showing the location of the Adriana family's territory. "This is the place to go." Then Adelman's index finger moved quickly. "This is the Varden Fortress."
"Do we have to warp!"
Adelman flinched when he heard the question that came out of Cyril's mouth. "Either you succeed, fail to stay alive, or refuse and accept punishment. Everything is your decision, Knight Cyril."
Cyril couldn't take the third option. He's already here. It had been two weeks since the day he woke up in Cyril's body in the novel. He was sure that his own body had been buried.
"I have no other choice, do I?"
"You are indeed smart."
Then Adelman left him, waiting in the hole that was originally the door.
Whatever world a person like me goes to, as long as it has nothing but a body, it's still a slave. Is that what I have to learn?
Cyril's temples throbbed in disapproval. He hoped that being dumped into this place led him to a choice where he avoided death. He doesn't want to die, so he can become something good right?
