Captured

After entering, he sneaked about,trying to get to his parent's room. After many twists and turns, he made it in. He barged in and saw his mother standing by the window, watching the battle going on below with a worried expression on her face.

"Mom,don't worry. I believe dad will win and come save us. But before then,we need to leave here and find somewhere safe to hide". He said as he walked up to her.

"I never would've thought that even George would betray us. I hope your father will be safe". She said with tears in her eyes.

"Don't be sad,i know he'll be alright. We need to leave right now before they find is here".

"OK,let's leave. What about your sister?,is she alright?".

"Yeah,she is and she's outside waiting for us. We need to hurry ".

They both ran out of the room and made it outside after making use of the secret passages in the palace. They ran towards the tree were Charlotte was hiding. As they ran,from a corner, a soldier saw them and alerted the others in the surrounding.

"STOP!!!,they're trying to escape"

"After them!!" Georg O'brien, who was leading a small team of soldiers heard the soldier and commanded as he chased after them. He couldn't find any of them after searching everywhere and wondered if they had somehow escaped.

"Hurry mom,we're almost there. Just a little further and we'll get Charlotte and hide". Charlie said anxiously.

"No,we won't make it. Go,I'll hold them back."

"What are you saying, we will make it if we hurry".

"We wouldn't. Get your sister and leave here immediately. If you see your father,tell him I love him and he shouldn't grieve too much for me". She said as a teardrop slid down her beautiful face.

"I can't leave you behind. You'll be killed by them. We'll leave together, I'll make sure of it". Charlie said as he stopped running and held the hand of his mother.

"Silly boy,stop this and go before they catch up to us or else we'll all die here including your sister. Don't worry about me. Take care of yourself and always know i love you both".

"Mommm!!!" He roared as he saw a spear piercing his mother from behind.

"Go forth,my child". He clenched his teeth as he ran towards the tree. He got to the tree and what he saw made him terrified. He saw the body of his sister under the tree with her clothes torn to pieces as well as blood all over the ground.

"Ahhhhhhhh..." he roared madly as he dashed towards her and shook her over and over In hope of her waking her.

"Wake up,wake up!!!!" He cried bitterly as he held up her body. As if hearing her brother's voice,she opened her eyes slightly to him crying.

"Don't cry,I want you be strong and get revenge for what they did to us,for what they did to me. I was raped by the two bastard sons of Damien Dunlop and Chu Yang ".

"You mean Chu Feng and Damien Dickson?" He asked killing intent in his voice.

"Yes,they were the ones. It's a shame I wouldn't see their death with my own eyes. Brother...

revenge...me..." she said as her closed and she slumped. "No,wake up,you can't die. I lost mom,I can't lose you too. Please,wake up,please..." he cried as he felt her body turning cold.

"Don't bother,she's already dead" said a voice from behind. Charlie raised his head and saw who it was .

"It's you,Georg, I'll kill you all!!!"He roared and dashed to him with his dagger.

"Hmph,you're not qualified. Men,cease him" he ordered coldly to his guards behind him. The guards rushed forward to capture him when suddenly a dagger pierced one of them in the neck. Charlie had thrown the dagger in his hand at the guard at the front.

"Even if I can't defeat you all,I'll at least get take as many of you as I can along with me". He said coldly before getting into a fighting pose.

"Go,i want him alive "

"Yes!!" The remaining guards said as they rushed forward. Charlie managed to punched a guard at the side of his head,causing him to stop before delivering a vicious kick in his crotch with all his strength,directly bursting his balls.

"Ahhhh!!!" The guard fell on the ground as he rolled about in pain. The other guards couldn't help but shiver as they saw such a scene.

"What the hell are you doing,don't tell me you're afraid of him,cease him immediately". The shout woke up the guards from their daze as they rushed forward and they captured him. He struggled fiercely before he was knocked out.

Charlie woke up to find himself in an empty room,tied to a chair. He looked around with confusion.

"Were am I and how did I get here?" He thought before remembering what happened.

"Mom,Charlotte!!" He called out as tears fell from his eyes and rolled down his face. He was crying when he heard the door being opened. He raised his head and saw three young men walk in.

"Georg,Chu Feng, Dickson!!" He clenched his teeth so hard that he started bleeding.

"Hahaha...who would have thought,it's the high and mighty young master Charlie. The number one son of the heavens,hahaha..." Chu Feng said sarcastically amidst his laughter.

"You always acted as if you're better than everyone. Let's see you act arrogant now,hahaha..." Georg said as he grabbed a chair and sat across Charlie.

"Do you know why you're still alive,it's because an expert of your family said his friend found the location of a treasure and gave the map of the treasure to your father. He also said you were going to join the team that would go and retrieve the treasure. Unfortunately, that expert who found the treasure died in battle and the one who told us about it didn't know it's location. So now,you're going to tell me where it is or else you'll be in a lot of pain. And trust me,I'm gonna get it no matter what so it'll be in your best interest to cooperate and you'll get to keep your life".Georg said with an indifferent expression on his face.

"Where is my father?" Charlie asked him with a cold expression.

"Hahaha...he went to the underworld to reunite with the rest of your family. And you'll be joining them if you don't cooperate". Chu Feng said.

"Gone,they're all gone. You killed them,you killed my family. I'm all alone now,because of you bastards. You'll die,YOU'LL ALL DIE!!!".

"SHUT UP!!" Goerg said as he punched Charlie in the stomach,causing him to grunt in pain.

"Are you telling us or not". He asked with anger written all over his face.

"I'd rather die than tell you anything " Charlie smiled evilly and said.

"So you'd rather have it the hard way then. So be it" Georg said as he stood up and walked behind him. He grabbed his hand broke one of his fingers. The other two just stood there and laughed as if they were watching something funny.

Charlie shouted and cried in pain as they tortured him continuously until he was covered with bruises and injuries all over his body,so much so that he was unrecognisable.

They looked at him like a piece of art and laughed as they left the room. They called some healers to treat him in their way to prevent him from dying . Charlie just sat there,still tied up,with his face devoid of any expression and his looking dead. The healers came in and healed him with their powers. Even though it was a mortal city,there were still cultivators in it. Even the experts of the the three families cultivated. Though, they didn't have a high level either due to not being able to awaken their martial sprit or having low talent.

After a few hours,he was healed completely,without any injuries. Still,Charlie still sat there without any expression on his face. He felt lost and didn't know what to do.

He remained that way for hours,without so much as moving a little. Unknowingly, he remained that way until nightfall before raising his head,his eyes regaining signs of life.

"That's right,I haven't had my revenge yet. How can I give up?,until i wipe them all from the face of this world. I can't lose hope yet. If I give up hope,then I really would have let them down". He thought after realising what he needed to do.

"Right,before that,I'll to become stronger. That'll be later,but right what I need the most is to escape from here and then,when I'm strong enough, I shall return" he said with killing intent filling the room.

"How do I proceed, I need to loose this bindings and then leave without alerting anyone before escaping this city". He thought quietly in his seat.
