The supreme god king

Chapter 1

Up high in the high heavens,a place where the gods of the universe reside,a heaven shaking and earth shattering battle was taking place.Millions of gods with different strength levels,calibre and origins where battling it out with each other,divided into two separate factions.

This battle was being fought to determine the supreme ruler of the universe with the two strongest beings leading the battle.

"It's been so many years since I've had such a stimulating battle, I believe after this battle, I would have a breakthrough to the next realm,hahaha...". Said one of the gods fighting as he tells his friend fighting beside him.

"Yeah I feel the same,but,only if we make it alive through this battle "replied his friend ."Stop being such a kill joy,with great god Mirh with us,we are undefeatable". Such was the thoughts of many others in combat.

"Mirh,you coward,come out and fight me "a thunderous voice sounded,shaking even space itself and causing a terrify earthquake.

"You make too much noise Hades,you sound as if you can defeat me.We have fought thousands of times but never have you defeated me.Just go back to your little hideout and wait for me to kill you and devour you" replied a calm voice .

"Not this time,i am ready to put an end to your existence and become the God of creation.come let's put an end to this"

Both gods flew to each other at a shocking speed and threw a punch at each other,meeting fist for fist at the same time causing an explosion with a bright flash of light,disintegrating all life on that battlefield, becoming a wasteland for millions of years.

And following that battle was the degradation of all life in the universe with no winner of the battle,causing chaos to ensue the universe. Meanwhile, two beams of light shut out of the battlefield, to two different sides of the universe with unknown destination containing the special powers of each great gods...

In a world far away from the high heavens, where mortals and cultivators resided,was a city the size of a small country called star fall. It housed millions of people along with the 3 great families as the council of rulers of the city. The O'brien family was the Head family of the city with the highest number of experts in it. Followed by the Chu and Damien family. They held high level of respect and prestige within the hearts of the people and ruled for over it for over a hundred years.

In the middle of the city,stood a castle with high walls and sturdy fences,giving it a solemn feeling. In a small courtyard within the castle, a fourteen to fifteen years old boy could be seen practicing a sword dance,looking like an elegant swan. He's name was Charlie O'brien, the young master of the O'brien family who owned the castle as well as half of the city. He was the second born of the patriarch of the family, Samuel O'brien. He was termed as introvert but arrogant to the people, due to his family background making him having any friends. Still,he didn't care much as he wanted to become a cultivator who practices magic. Only those around him knew that he was tough on the outside,but soft om the inside.

Charlie could be seen practicing his swordplay in the courtyard as due to his daily schedule which comprised of swordplay in the morning,cultural lessons and etiquette in the afternoon,then trying to feel the spirit qi in the atmosphere. To become a cultivator,one must feel spirit qi and direct it to his or her lower abdomen,then create a seal to open his or her dantian,thereby awakening his or her own martial sprit.

Martial spirits are manifestations of the soul which directs a cultivator in his or her future path in cultivation. It can also be used in combat when summoned by the owner from within his or her soul.

"Finally, I broke through to the master level of my swordplay,with this,when I awaken I would be stronger than others of the same realm,not losing out to those genius disciples of those great sects" Charlie mumbles to himself as he finishes his swordplay. Swo was divided into different levels namely beginner,master,grand master and great master. Beginners are able to barely able to utilise the basic fundamentals of the sword while masters are able to use the fundamentals fluently. Those of the grandmaster level are able to produce sword force.while the legendary great master level are able to control sword force freely and easily. For young Charlie to reach theater level at such an age proves his astonishing talent in the way of the sword.

Even on the sects where all soughts of talents and experts are would only him as a once in a hundred years genius. Knowing this served to fuel his motivation to become stronger and challenge other talents of the world. What others didn't know was that Charlie was battle freak. He felt it was to do battle and snuck out once in a while to watch others fighting.

"Sh*t,I'm late for cultural lessons again "he mumbles to himself after realising it was already noon."I'm gonna get scolded again " he smiles ruefully as rushes to freshen up and change into a robe.He rushed off to the hall where he took his classes while unknowingly was being watched by his father who was in his office in the highestroom of the castle.

"Stinking brat,he actually got engrossed within sword practice that he forgot his lessons again, he's get from me later " smiles Samuel somewhat bitterly. He wanted his son to take after him as the patriarch of the family later on but Charlie was never interested in ruling the family. He wanted to cultivate and practice martial arts instead leaving him confused on what to do."Sigh.. forget it, I'll let him do as wants" .

Evening, the family gathered together to have their dinner imwith everyone in the main family present. The O'brien family may be the number family in the cithmy but it was only made up of the main family which consisted of Samuel O'brien as the patriarch, Shantel O'brien as the wife of the patriarch,Charlotte, Charlie's older sister and Charlie as the only son along with the side branch which consisted of Samuel's younger brother, Simon O'brien and his son Georg O'brien. The rest of the family only consisted of the maids and guards along with the soldiers who served the family.

After dinner, before everyone was about to disperse to their different chambers,Samuel called out "Charlie,see me in my office, I have something I want to show you".Surprised, Charlie replied "Okay father ". Then they left,headed for Samuel's office together. After entering, Charlie closed the while Samuel took his seat and gesturing for him to sit as well. After sitting, Samuel asks " are you really not willing to become the patriarch of the family, I mean being a cultivator is cool and all,but it is very tough and full of difficulties. Don't get hoodwinked by the tales you hear about them and feel like doing it just because it sounds awesome". Charlie stays silent for a while before replying "I know what I want father and I have decided. Not because it sounds cool but because I really want to ". Charlie said with a determined look on his face. "Sigh.. Well I thought so too but who would I take over from me?". Charlie looked at his who was massaging his temples and suggested " what about uncle George?". George O'brien was the younger brother of Samuel who has a son called Georg O'brien. "George?,hmm..he's not bad but I feel reluctant to, I mean who wouldn't when I have a son to take over me. Besides,George is too ambitious for such a position. He will lead our family to it's doom. So what about doing both,I mean,being the family head and still be a cultivator??"

"Sounds good, but ,I want to travel the world and experience it's wonders. It's not like I'm gonna leave forever, I'll just travel around and come back every once in a while to check up on the family. Treat it as the family gaining another expert". "Sigh...if you say so.I can't possibly forget you to do it. Well,enough of that,since you made up your mind then so be it. Now,let's talk about the reason I called you. I received some information about a treasure. It was found out by one of experts who saw it but couldn't get it as it was too dangerous to go by himself. I've decided to send you along with some of our experts to retrieve it and bring it back. It could help you gain first hand experience of the dangers outside the walls of this city and hopefully change your mind".

"Really??" Charlie asks with a suspicious look on his face. " what, you don't trust me anymore??" "It's not that, I mean, well,if you insist them so be it". " Good, then that will be all,go back and have some rest". Charlie stood up and walked away. He got to the door and said "thanks dad,for honouring my decision. I won't let you down" ." I know you wouldn't "."Oh,and you'll be leaving in three days ". "Yes" Samuel smiles as Charlie opened the door and left.
