[Time: 1 week later]

"Oh my, my baby is turning 7 today!! Mama is so happy!" Isabella Penber, Ray's mother, exclaimed as she gushed over how Ray looked in his suit. She hugged him, and kissed his head, before making him stand in front of a person sized mirror.

"Today is the day you will be introduced to the rest of the world. Do you feel nervous to face so many people? Make sure to be impeccable since, for many people, today will be their first impression of you, and remember, the 1st impression is the most important. But my baby doesn't have to worry, your normal attitude alone is enough. Just remember to be polite to your elders, but also consolidate your position, got it?" she said at rapid speed, Ray noticing that she was more nervous than he, the protagonist of the party himself was.

"Don't worry so much mom, I'll do well-"

"Mama will always worry for you, Ray. Even if you rule the world, or live a peaceful life, mama will always worry about you."

Ray smiled, happy to feel his mother's overflowing love for him.

He touched his mother's large, round stomach. "How about you? The doctor said that you should be careful and take it easy right? Why don't you go take a seat there and relax for a while? You're almost 8 months pregnant, so you have be relaxed." he said, pointing to a chair near them.

"The doctor also instructed to exercise a bit everyday, so don't you worry about me." she replied adamantly.

'Hah... no son can ever beat his mother in an argument... I give up' Ray thought as his mother set his bow tie which was crooked. Isabella then looked at the clock on the wall.

"Oh my, it's time for your debut, all the best Ray." she exclaimed as she kissed his forehead.

"Thanks mom."

As he walked out of the dressing room, he noticed a butler waiting on him.

"Young Master, I was assigned to bring you to the banquet hall." the butler as he he bowed to Ray.

"Lead the way." Ray replied, nodding at him.

As he followed the butler through a hallway, he wondered about how his would proceed, who would attend, how he would have to act, and most of all, he was curious about the mysterious initiation trial.

His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the butler, who told him that they had arrived.

Ray looked at the large door, with dragons decorated on it, along with guns forming a cross. He could "see" the people who were on the other side of the door.

He then nodded at the butler, who upon receiving the order, pushed open the door and stood to the side as Ray walked in.

The moment Ray walked, all activities and conversations instantly stopped as everyone turned to look at Ray.

Ray looked over to his father who was in the centre of the room, and walked towards him.

When Ray stood next to him, Antonio announced: " As you all know, today, we have gathered to celebrate the 7th birthday of my son, Ray Penber!"

*clap clap clap*

The room was filled with loud clapping as Ray bowed elegantly towards the audience.

Then, door to the side was opened as 2 men pushed in a 5 storey blueberry cake, Ray's favourite flavor and was placed in the middle of the room, in front of him.

Antonio then handed a knife to Ray, who then proceeded to cut the cake as everyone started clap and wish him a happy birthday.

After the cake cutting, people formed their own groups and started to chat, as Ray started to go around meeting important people.

He first walked over to a man, who was wearing a business suit, with rings on all of his fingers and greying hair.

"Good evening to you Mr. Fabian, how are you enjoying the party?"

"I am enjoying it very much Little Master Ray, and I wish you all the best on succeeding in your initiation." Fabian replied cheerfully.

"Thank you for your encouragement, I'm sure it will help me pass the trial, Mr. Fabian." Saying so, he bowed slightly and walked away from him towards a father and son pair, who noticed Ray coming towards them.

"Oho, isn't it the birthday boy? How do you do lad?"

"I'm doing well, Mr. Albus, and how do you do?"

"Well as ever boy, well as ever." he laughed as he took a sip of wine.

Ray then turned to boy who was with Albus. "How's the cake Draco?"

"Hmph, blueberry isn't too bad, but it is still nothing compared to pista." he huffed, tilting his head upwards, before being smacked in the back of the head by his father.

"How many times have I told not to be so arrogant, huh, do you want to experience your father's kick of love?"

Draco immediately shuddered hearing this and murmered an apology to Ray.

As Ray was about to respond, Antonio suddenly called out to him. He walked towards a group of people, which consisted of his father, mother, grandfather, some elders of the family and some other people who he couldn't identify.

"Ray, let me introduce you to them."Antonio said as he pointed towards the unknown people.

" These are the heads of the other families which each rule a city on this island. They are:

Augustus Magnus, Head of the Magnus Family, from the city of Romanus.

Julius Absol, Head of the Absol Family, from the city of Stockholm.

Nero Invictus, Head of the Invictus Family, from the city of Constantin.

And, Capone Bege, the Head of the Capone Family from the city of Ravenice." Antonio said as Ray shook each person's hand, while even recognising Capone Bege.

'Capone Bege? It sounds quite familiar... maybe from Al Capone from my previous life?'

His thoughts were suddenly disrupted by his father who placed his hand on Ray's shoulder.

"It's time."

I'm sorry for not being able to release a chapter yesterday, I was very busy with my university induction, and had no energy to type a chapter after coming back.
