Plague Queen

Kaido had an uncanny knack for spotting talent. As long as one displayed enough strength, Kaido would find a way to recruit them.

The immense force Sebastian exerted left the Scar Pirate gasping for breath. His legs flailed in the air, his face flushed, eyes bloodshot, and his good hand desperately clutched at Sebastian's fingers, trying to pry them apart.

"Let me go..." Scar Pirate choked out.

Crack!

The sound of breaking bones resonated. The Scar Pirate's eyes lost their spark, his head slumped weakly, and his vitality was extinguished.

Sebastian nonchalantly tossed the Scar Pirate's lifeless body in front of the other pirates.

This was a stark warning, a declaration that he wouldn't be trampled upon. The pirate world wasn't a playground where camaraderie and fairness reigned supreme. It was a realm where some pirates were ruthless, cruel, and cold-hearted. Respect was reserved for the strong, and the weak were expected to serve the strong, especially in the Beasts Pirates, where strength was revered.

Since the moment Sebastian crossed over, he had been prepared to embrace a villainous role. This wasn't the Straw Hat Pirates, focused on friendship, or the Red-Haired Brotherhood Pirates centered around camaraderie. It was the Beasts Pirates, emphasizing strength.

Cowardice and kindness were dangerous traits in this world. To deter potential threats, one had to exhibit ruthlessness and strength. Sebastian had to make sure pirates thought twice before crossing him.

His predecessor was a wanted man, having split from the Beasts Pirates, and was at risk of being captured by the Marines at any moment. There was only one path for Sebastian to tread – the path of darkness.

Sebastian raised his head, sensing a formidable aura approaching.

"Is it Kaido? Will this be a grand introduction or a genuine showdown?" Sebastian mused to himself.

A commotion swept through the pirates, and they quickly cleared a path. Gradually, a six-meter-tall figure emerged, bald, sporting sunglasses, purple lips, a golden braid atop his head, an imposing obesity, and clad in black and white vertical stripes. His left hand was a mechanically modified prosthesis, he had two golden beards, a golden ponytail trailing from the back of his head, sunglasses secured by two ropes, and two long knives sheathed at his waist.

"Lord Queen has arrived, make way! Don't obstruct Lord Queen's path!"

"Hurry! The soup is here; Lord Queen desires a taste!"

The newcomer was none other than Plague Queen, one of the three Calamities!

His bounty: a staggering 1.32 billion Berries! Queen possessed the Dragon Fruit – Brachiosaurus Form ability and had a penchant for developing chemical weapons. He had earned the moniker "Plague" due to his claim that plagues followed in his wake wherever he went.

This formidable figure was none other than Kaido's trusted confidant among the Beasts Pirates. He possessed an extraordinary recovery ability and an unwavering vitality, making him nearly indestructible. His defense was nothing short of astounding. He had withstood the mighty blows of Charlotte Linlin without flinching and appeared unscathed even after enduring numerous attacks from Marco.

When Queen, one of the prominent figures in the Beasts Pirates, made his entrance, his keen eyes immediately caught sight of the spilled soup on the ground. A sudden transformation overcame Queen, as a menacing purple aura enveloped his form. The surrounding pirates couldn't help but shudder in fear at the sight.

"Who's responsible for this mess with the soup?" Queen's voice dripped with anger, resonating through the air.

Queen might not possess Conqueror's Haki, but his mere presence had a chilling effect on the lesser pirates.

Gulp!

"Oh no, Boss Queen is furious. We're in for it," murmured one renowned pirate with trepidation.

Queen turned his head, bent down, and cast a piercing gaze upon a young pirate who stood quaking in his boots.

"Spit it out! Who spilled my Anko soup? Was it you?" Queen demanded.

"N-no, Boss Queen!" The pirate stammered, trembling from head to toe. He looked like he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

"He did it," Sebastian's voice interjected calmly.

Queen followed the sound of the voice and saw the pirate who lay lifeless on the ground.

"He spilled it? Then why is he dead?" Queen inquired, his gaze unwavering.

"He spilled the soup, so I dealt with him," Sebastian replied with an air of cold indifference. He neither groveled nor displayed any fear.

It was as if he regarded the well-known figure, Queen the Plague, as just another ordinary pirate. Queen couldn't help but be taken aback by the young man's lack of fear.

After sizing up Sebastian, Queen's tone softened, "Is what he said true?"

"That's right, Boss Queen! The guy on the ground spilled your soup!"

"Yes, we all witnessed it!"

The surrounding pirates chimed in, affirming Sebastian's claim.

Queen nodded, now convinced of the truth.

"You're a trainee, correct?" Queen inquired.

Sebastian nodded in agreement, confirming his status.

"It's not every day that a trainee crew member takes on a full-time crew member," Queen remarked.

Typically, trainee crew members were scouted by the Beasts Pirates, and those who displayed exceptional strength were often fast-tracked to full-time crew member status upon joining the regiment.
