[The Adamantium Affair] - The Feral Family Reunites

While Val was obliterating away Romulus and showing off his powers to the rest of the world, back on the three mile island in Pennsylvania,

* THUMP *

* THUMP *

"Urgh!", Logan grunted like an animal while his feet pounded on the snowy ground of the forest near the facility. His nose caught the scent of a person and he stopped, turned, and ran in the direction of the smell. After a couple of seconds, he arrived at the location where some soldiers were huddled together.

Without hesitation, Logan jumped between them and slashed his claws madly at them. Head, arms, and legs were severed from their bodies while the soldiers who were able to escape the Adamantium claws grabbed their rifles and fired at him. However, they soon realized that the bullets had no effect on the monster in front of them and as the claws closed near their faces, they closed their eyes and accepted their fate.

After killing the soldiers, Logan looked around and ran away from the scene. He continued running in the snowy forest like an animal for a couple of seconds until he stopped abruptly.

"Logan...", Kayla stood in front of him. She examined his bloodied face and body. Not his own but from the people he'd killed. She bit her lip seeing the metal claws and said, "Logan! Baby! Is this the freak you didn't want to show me? Is this the one you tried to hide in your closet? I... I... I... accept it. It's a part of you. Logan."

Logan took a step toward her. He didn't know who she was due to the fact that Adamantium had wiped his memories. Although, they were stored in the memory sphere which hadn't been reactivated. Anyway, he saw her as another piece of meat. To be cut. To be killed. To be de-

He paused. His face twisted in agony. His body stopped itself from proceeding. He wanted to slice the piece of meat in front of him. But, something inside him protested against it. Something... that made his body stop moving. Logan fought against it and he succeeded. He took a step forward with difficulty. And a pain erupted at the back of his head. He took another step. And, the pain increased. Another step. The pain increased. He moved toward her one step at a time. Until he was in front of her and the pain at the back of his head had increased to such a degree that he couldn't hear or see.

Tears fell from Kayla's eyes and she pleaded, "Logan! Come back to me! Come back to us! To our love! To our peaceful life! Please!"

She brought her hand toward his face but before her hand could touch his face suddenly, he shifted away from her hand and aimed his claws at her chest.

Kayla saw the claws coming at her. But, she couldn't do anything. As the claws neared her chest, she thought she would die until...

* WHAM *

"Aargh!" "Uff!"

* THUD *

* SCHICKK *

Kayla felt somebody push her out of the way in the nick of time and she landed away on the snow. She picked herself up and turned around to see who that person was. When she did so, her eyes widened in disbelief and she stuttered, "V-V-V-Victor?"

"Aargh!", Victor had Logan's claws in his chest and his blood dripping on the snow below him. He looked at Kayla and said, "Y-You... need to get away. Y-You're no match for him."

Kayla hurriedly nodded and ran away. She chose a spot surrounded by thick bushes and hide inside it.

Victor smiled slightly seeing Kayla run away and he turned his attention back to Logan. Without saying anything, he grabbed Logan's claws and inserted more inside his chest. Then, he grabbed Logan's head and banged it with his own.

* BANG *

* CRACK *

Logan didn't even recoil while Victor had a blurry vision as the frontal bone of his skull cracked due to the impact. Nonetheless, it healed itself and Victor thought, 'It's going to be tough bringing him down.'

He removed the claws from his chest and took a step back. Logan aimed his claws at his face and slashed it across.

* SLASH *

However, Victor ducked and evaded his claws. He glanced at his face and aimed a punch at it.

* WHAM *

* CLANG *

But, like before, Logan wasn't hurt by his punch and aimed his claws at his outstretched hand.

* SLASH *

But, Victor, nimbly dodged his claws and jumped. At the same time as his jump, they too felt the earthquake that was felt across the world.

* RUMBLE *

* RUMBLE *

The ground beneath Logan's feet shook, throwing him off balance. Victor took this opportunity as he spun around in mid-air and kicked him in the chest.

* WHAM *

Logan was hurled back a few meters and landed on the snow. He jumped back on his feet and roared at Victor. Without wasting any time, he charged toward him and slashed his claws at him repeatedly.

* SLASH *

* SLASH *

* SLASH *

Victor, on the other hand, avoided getting caught by his attacks. He dodged them and continued doing so until he stole a glance around him and realized that he was nearing a tree. He smirked and when Logan slashed his claws again, he jumped up and used his claws to latch himself on the tree trunk.

* SLASH *

Logan's claws were stuck inside the tree trunk and Victor took this opportunity to jump behind him. Logan cut through the tree trunk like butter and removed his claws from it. But, when he turned around, he saw Victor swinging a small tree trunk at him.

* BANG *

Logan was flung away and he crashed through a few trees before falling into the snow. He stayed still for a couple of seconds before he jumped back on his feet. He growled at Victor in the distance and ran toward him before jumping in the air with his claws out, ready to pounce on him. But, Victor wasn't about to be done in. He jumped toward him and inserted his claws inside Logan's chest.

* THUD *

Both of them landed on the snow. Logan grunted in pain but he aimed his claws at Victor's face, who was below him and was about to do it when...

* CLANG *

Victor saw a sword blocking Logan's claws and he looked up only to see Remus. He looked back at Logan and kicked him off of him.

* WHAM *

Logan landed on the snow ahead of Remus while Victor rolled away. He stopped and crouched as he saw Logan standing up and staring at Remus who took a stance and thought, 'Who's this girl?'

Remus smirked and took a stance in front of Logan and said, "Logan! Prove to me that you're Folkbern Logan's descendant!"

"Aargh!", Logan roared and charged at her. He slashed his claws at her but...

* CLANG *

Remus inserted her sword between his claws and spun it around.

* WHOOSH *

* CRACK *

Remus watched Logan helplessly spin around and jumped. She aimed at his chest and kicked him with her leg.

* BANG *

* THUD *

Remus landed on the ground and smiled when she saw Logan jump back on his feet effortlessly. He aimed his claws at her and slashed repeatedly.

* CLANG *

* CLANG *

* CLANG *

Remus kept blocking every single one of his attacks with her sword. Sparks flew in the air when she did so. Her eyes fell on an opening and she took it. She ducked one of his attacks and sliced her sword across his ribs and moved behind him.

* SCHICKK *

* SPLURT *

"Aaah!", Remus listened to Logan cry out in pain, and seeing his wide back, she drove her sword into it.

* SCHICKK *

* SPLURT *

Logan slumped on the ground and Remus pulled her sword out of it. He stayed still for a few seconds until his body stirred yet, again. But, before he could stand up, Victor appeared and jumped on his back, and pinned him on the ground. He shouted, "Kayla! You need to come here!"

Remus turned around and saw Kayla running out of the bushes and arriving near Logan. She sighed and helped Victor pin Logan to the ground. Kayla watched Logan thrash and try to get Victor and Remus off of him violently. He looked like a person who had lived his whole life in the jungle. She grabbed his head and used her powers to calm him down and at the same time tried to get him back as she pleaded, "Logan! Come back to me! Try to remember who I am! Try to remember the time we spent together!"

Remus had a slight look of jealousy when she saw Kayla and Logan but she quickly concealed it as Kayla continued, "Remember our love!"

Inside Logan, the memory sphere activated and it reattached itself to the nearby neuron and began transferring the memories it had stored to his brain. The sudden influx of memories was too much for him to handle and his eyes rolled back in his sockets and he lost consciousness.

Victor got off his back and sighed in relief seeing him finally stop. Kayla turned Logan around and began checking his vitals. Victor sighed, took off his shirt, and put it over his naked body. He looked at Remus and asked, "Who are you? His other girl?"

Remus frowned and replied, "I'm Remus. And, I'm not his–other–girl...", she crossed her arms and continued with a smirk on her face, "I... am your sister-in-law."

"What?", Victor heard Kayla shout and turned to see her looking at Remus with a dumbfounded expression on her face. Glancing at both of them, he shook his head and murmured, "I don't like where this is going."
