Chapter 1How It All Began

"Greetings, young denizens of Earth. My name is Seraph, and this is the Domain of God."

These were the words of a stunning Angel, her voice as soothing as honey. The twenty-nine students simply stared, dazed and utterly confused.

Hovering elegantly in front of the pearly gates, she flapped her six wings as she radiated kindness and benevolence toward the confused bunch.

She knew patience was key when dealing with these ones; considering they had been on a school bus barely seconds ago before getting transported to this mind-boggling place

It was a place brighter than daylight, despite there being no sun in sight. Clouds replaced solid ground, and the horizon seemed to stretch on endlessly.

Other than a magnificent gate that stood behind her, there was nothing in sight for miles.

After granting the students a few moments of silence, Seraph geared up to speak once again, but was interrupted by a barrage of murmurs from the crowd.

"W-what's going on?"

"Where are we?"

"Whoa, she's like an angel or something. What the hell…?"

"D-did she just say the realm of God? Are we dead?"

"The last thing I remember was that a massive truck was about to hit our bus. Please don't tell me we...!"

The uproar was no surprise, and Seraph allowed it despite the chaos.

Could anyone blame these teens?

They had been on their way back from a class field trip when they were suddenly caught up in this mess.

"Everyone, please let's calm down!"

A commanding, masculine voice suddenly pierced through the chaotic space.

Instantly, the room fell silent as each student recognized the voice.

As the noise died down, a boy stepped forward, moving with a grace that seemed incredible for a human.

"I get it. We are all confused, but please, let's try to stay calm. Our questions will definitely be answered."

Amid the collective unease, the students slowly nodded in agreement with the boy's words. His smile, both relatable and confident, worked like a charm, easing their worries and diffusing the tension hanging in the air.

With his classmates calmed, the boy, his blond hair swaying, strode towards the angelic figure observing the scene in silence.

"Excuse me, Miss Seraph," he began, addressing the angel. "I'm sorry for the chaos. Could you please tell us what's happening here?"

Seraph smiled at the young man's question. Not only was he strikingly handsome, every inch the picture of human perfection, but he was also very polite.

He seemed to be the only one who possessed the knack to properly address a celestial being like herself.

"Of course," she replied.

"Thank you, Miss Seraph," he said, bowing gently.

"What's your name?" Seraph asked.

"Adonis. Adonis Levi."

Adonis maintained his bow, earning a soft smile from Seraph. She found herself getting quite fond of this human.

"You can lift your head now, Adonis," she said, and as soon as the words left her lips, he complied.

"Listen up, everyone," Seraph began, capturing the attention of the nervous twenty-eight students.

Adonis, though feeling the weight of the moment, narrowed his eyes in determination. He couldn't afford to lose his composure. The fate of his classmates rested on his ability to stay calm.

"You were all on the brink of death, about to crash into a truck. The impact killed your driver and the teachers in the front. But just before any of you could meet the same fate, you were summoned here."

The grim reality hit hard, eliciting small squeaks from some of the students. Adonis felt a lump in his throat but forced himself to remain composed. His classmates needed him to be strong.

Their minds involuntarily conjured gruesome images of the bus's only adults reduced to a bloody mess.

"Don't worry. You're not dead. But if you go back, the same fate awaits—death for all," Seraph continued, her calm tone belying the unsettling nature of her words. The students swallowed hard, fear gripping them as they listened.

Despite Seraph's composed demeanor, her words rattled many. Fear was already settling in among the students.

"If I may?" Adonis raised his hand, offering a respectful smile.

"Oh, Adonis, go ahead," Seraph encouraged.

"I just wanted to ask about the adults. I hope they didn't suffer, and I also want to express our gratitude for saving us," Adonis said calmly, once again diffusing some tension.

"They should be resting well. Their souls are at peace. There is no need to thank me," Seraph replied.

"Haha! Surely you are being mo—

"Excuse me. I have a question." A sharp feminine voice interrupted Adonis' response, redirecting everyone's attention to the speaker.

"My name is Alicia White. The Class Representative of our class, and if you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few things."

Alicia announced, her words polite but her tone stern, not even making an effort to hide her suspicion as she fixed her narrowed gaze on Seraph.

"What do you wish to know?" Seraph asked.

"Firstly," Alicia began, her voice confident, "why did you save us from certain death? I find it difficult to believe that only we would be spared while our adult guardians were killed. Apologies, but I find the convenience a bit suspicious."

Alicia's words were blunt, but there was no denying the validity of her question.

The moment she asked it, every student found themselves silently echoing her sentiment.

'She has a point!'

"I see… well, allow me to clarify," Seraph replied, her demeanor unwaveringly calm.

"The twenty-nine of you have been chosen for a purpose. A world in distress has summoned you to aid them. Following your briefing, you will be transported there"

Her words landed like a bombshell, evoking varied reactions among the students.

Some were shocked to their bones.

Some were merely confused.

A few were astonishingly trying their hardest to stifle the excitement that was clearly written on their faces.

"So you didn't save us. You're simply transporting us?" Alicia's voice held a hint of disappointment, her lips forming a small frown.

"Correct."

"That doesn't sound very benevolent."

"I did mention there's no need for gratitude toward me."

Tension surged between Seraph and Alicia, escalating rapidly until Adonis intervened.

"Please, Miss Seraph, can you tell us more about this other world and why we are being summoned there?"

This question completely shifted the focus of the students who were already beginning to panic.

Everyone suddenly began to get curious about this "world" that was in distress.

Once again, Adonis had managed to steer the conversation back on track. Seraph's smile widened slightly as she shifted her gaze and glanced at him.

"The world is named H'Trae, and its denizens are under a major threat from an opponent they can not win against. In their desperation, they resorted to Inter-dimensional Summoning. You twenty-nine were chosen because you would have died regardless, and so no viable resource was pooled from Earth."

A few struggled to understand what Seraph was saying, but the meaning behind her words couldn't be any clearer.

None of the students present could complain about being summoned, since they would have died anyway.

Regardless of whether they chose to be appreciative, the undeniable truth remained—they had been granted a second chance at life.

"What kind of trouble is this world Tria facing??" Once again, Alicia asked, her tone still laced with suspicion.

It seemed she still held a great amount of dislike or distrust—perhaps even both—towards Seraph.

"It is not my place to say. When you arrive at H'Trae, all you need will be revealed."

Seraph's swift and blunt response carried a weight that seemed to ripple through the surroundings.

It was evident she had reached the limit of her patience, causing an instant hush to fall upon the group.

"You are all here, in this domain, for one reason and one reason alone." Seraph continued, breaking the silence.

"I am to prepare you for your journey to H'Trae. It is a world filled with many unknown wonders, but also great danger. To ensure your survival as well as the fulfillment of the role of your summoning, each of you will receive Skills and a Class ."

While the words she uttered sailed over the heads of a few students, almost everyone in the room knew what "Skills" and "Class" entailed.

"You will be choosing your Skills based on the Karma you had just before you were brought here," Seraph added.

"E-excuse me… but did you just say Karma? As in the amount of good deeds we did in our lives?" A voice from the crowd questioned, a hint of disbelief lingering in their tone.

Though the voice was somewhat low, Seraph was able to hear every word.

"Not exactly. Every person has a maximum of a hundred Karma from the moment they are born, but the number decreases when you do bad deeds to others or if people see you in a bad light."

In simple terms, the more likable a person was, the higher their chances of having a near-perfect Karma.

The opposite was also true.

"One after the other, you will approach me, and I will show you the list of Skills and Classes available to you based on your Karma. Once a person has chosen a Skill or Class, it can not be chosen by another."

A small commotion erupted among the students, and understandably so. It was essentially a 'first come, first served' scenario.

"Why don't we start with the three who bothered to ask questions? Adonis Levi, Alicia White, and… the last one." Seraph announced.

Adonis was already close to Seraph, while Alicia stood at the forefront of the rest of the students As for the last person that was called, he was clustered among his classmates.

"Excuse me. Coming through." the boy grunted as he maneuvered his way out of the crowd of students around him.

Many eyed him with envy, as being among the first to choose held considerable weight.

When he finally made it to the front, the angelic lady shot him a quizzical look.

She seemed to expect another impressive or striking individual but instead found an overall average-looking boy.

Seraph didn't linger on the average-looking boy for too long, however.

"Step forward, you three," she commanded.

The unexpected trio—a perfectly handsome boy, a strikingly gorgeous girl, and an average nobody—stepped forward and approached Seraph.

"Adonis, Alicia, and… uh… what is your name again?"

Seraph's eyes fixated on the boy in question, drawing the attention of many.

Even Adonis and Alicia were staring at him.

This unexpected attention which the boy had never experienced before this, made him take a few seconds to compose himself before responding.

"My name is Rey. Rey Skylar."

Honestly I don't know where to start with this Novel, it's really well written, the power system is great, the characters are great each with their own unique personality, overall its just brilliant. I'm currently only 298 chapters in but this book brought me out of my slump in terms of Novels. I got to the point where I'd read everything I considered worth reading and couldn't find anything else, but this Novel hit the spot. To start with the Characters, each of them has quite a unique personality with specific traits that kind of define them as a person. Overall they're all done really impressively, each character being vastly different with even each relatively minor villain or antagonist having their own quirks. In terms of the Power System, so far it's brilliant, I won't go into so as not to spoil it, but it's done very well and its also quite simple which to my surprise made the power system and scaling characters alot easier and therefore I found it more enjoyable. In terms of the main character, so far he's been quite a fun MC to read about, he's not overly Heroic but still caring and yet he isn't outright good or outright evil in my opinion, a perfect balance for a character, I'm not really a big fan of the whole 'hiding your true power and living as an extra' trope, but I have to say the way it's portrayed in this novel far exceeded my expectations. For story development I find it to be a bit slow for my liking, however it dosent really bring the story down at all as the MCs power still grows at a fast pace, and so does his character providing some very well done character development.

Honest reviews are here.. [Extreme Spoiler Alert] This is a story about the whole group of teenager, 16 years old kid who all in the same class and been summoned to the other world to become their saviour against the dragon race.. The novel title has already described what kind of novel is this, "An Extra's POV" which is about MC who are hiding his true strength from everyone and acting behind the scenes.. Before arriving at the other world, everyone can pick the skill and class based on their Karma point everyone have.. MC who pick an SSS-rank skill: Doppel, which will be able to copy anyone skill with a limit of 100 slots.. But because he picked SSS-rank skills, which use up all his Karma points, he lost all other perks such as his profession/class and opportunity to pick multiple skills.. All his classmates have better proffesion/ classes (C-tier class the lowest and S-tier class is the highest) and multiple skill.. Mc is the only one who has F-tier class: commoner.. Because of this, MC basic stat is the lowest.. He gained 3 unallocated stat points (SP) every level up.. But later, MC got an A-tier class: Anomaly, which gave him 6 unallocated SP every level up.. And the higher the class, the higher the unallocated SP gain on every level up.. For example, there are an A-rank pets who gain 30 unallocated SP every level up and an S-rank summon creature who gains 100 unallocated SP every level up.. Yes, unfortunately, MC has a low stat point, which is one of the downside of this MC in this novel.. It is probably the author ways to balance MC strength.. If we not including MC basic stat point, MC is super OP with his SSS-rank skill.. He managed to copy almost all his classmates' skills.. And he even manage to copy other strong people, other races, Dragon, and monster.. He can also fusion the skill (combo the skill temporarily) or merge the skill (permanently) to save the slot space because of the 100 limited slots.. MC also created another persona, Ralyks, which is a cool adventurer who is overwhelmingly strong, righteous, reliable, always calm, and merciless toward his enemies.. Most of the time, he is in this persona.. The author style kinda like to dragging stuff.. He tends to drag most topics.. One chapter will stretch up to 5+ chapters.. The author will explain from all aspects, from MC POV until others POV (Including the POV of the monster.. Ex: hobgoblin).. The author will put many empty talk, the thought of EVERYONE (MC think like this and this.. Then other people thought this and that), and many useless things that just drag the story.. But what can we do? The storyline is that good to the point that many people can't stop reading it and fall by the charm of this novel.. First of all, I hate Esme (one of the female characters) because MC becomes pathetic, blind and idiot in front of her.. She kinda girl who can see through MC and also a super burden that need to be carried by MC.. MC totally broke his composure characters and persona in front of her.. [Once again, Reminder: Extreme Spoiler Alert] There are a few characters between his classmates that OP too.. The 1st one is Adrien, where he exactly act like MC which hides his strength from EVERYONE, and only MC knows his true strength, but the moment MC knows it, it is already too late.. Adrian already left the group.. He has SSS-rank skill: Creation.. Yes, MC can copy skill while his hidden rival can create the skill.. Right now, he barely has any screen time, but he kinda like bad guys who orchestrated behind the scenes and going to be MC strongest opponents.. Yeah, it kinda weird that MC didn't copy Adrien skill when he 1st time used it.. Probably not to make MC more OP than he already has.. The 2nd one is the reincarnator, the hero, Adonis.. On the previous timeline, MC is the strongest among classmates and plays an important role, but somehow, MC picked this guy, Adonis, to return and change the timeline.. Well, the reason is Adonis is quite weak, so the cost to reincarnate Adonis will be lesser than MC, who are strongest.. So, Adonis got reincarnated as far as the time rewind send him.. When? To the time he still a fetus in his mother womb.. "If" MC got reincarnated and because of the cost is too high, MC probably got reincarnated after they arrived at this otherworld.. But that going to be bad because they can't pick the skill and class again.. That their main reason to rewind the time, to pick a skill and class that will help them against dragon race.. So, the risk is too high.. Adonis has been the weakest, but change his life this time around and became a rightous hero with a powerful skill.. And MC is helping him behind his back.. Please noted, MC has no memory from previous life. Plus, he also doesn't know anything about Adonis got reincarnated.. Everything from Ch.1 until Ch.500 is awesome, the best, and almost perfect...... UNTIL CH500+..... Here is where everything changed.. From OP MC into a pathetic MC.. One of the MC skills is replicate himself.. This skill will divide the stat and level equally among themselves.. For example, a lvl.140 MC makes a clone (two body:real and clone), each will have 50% stat point and lvl.70, equally divided by two.. But what worse, apparently, when the MC clone dies, the stat point and level of the clone will be permanently lost.. Yes, around Ch.500, his clone died, and MC, who already has a LOWEST stat point, becomes even lower than lowest.. His stat and level got reduced by HALF.. Wow... So dissapointed with this development.. I, as a fan of this novel, almost become a hater.. I stopped reading because I couldn't read it.. The more I read, the worse the story goes.. I can't count how many times I am disappointed.. First, MC loses his clone, then his stat and level.. Then, he lost his chance to copy ALL powerful skills from MANY DRAGON.. Then, he almost died MULTIPLE times by the same creature, and MC desperately tried to kill it.. He acts like stupid and loses his cool and just bombarded his skill like a desperate kid who throws every object he found to villain without thinking anything.. His other persona, the identity as a Ralyks also been forcely reveal in pitiful ways.. He also have to sacrifice many of his powerful skills to grow stronger but I not sure if it worth it.. There are many thing happened after Ch.500 and most of it, I hate it.. The new dungeon arc, Ch.450-Ch.500 kinda like MC been play right into someone's hand but the ending of that arc kinda awesome.. But it already developed the uneasiness feeling there.. So, that is why after continuous irritate feeling after Ch.500, it getting worse and worser.. The displeasure and frustration continues to build up.. To the point that I can't stand it anymore.. Defeat after defeat.. Die after die (almost).. Got weaker and weaker.. Dear author, why?? What is these sudden abrupt of change?? The story also almost perfect before.. Seriously, before Ch.500, I was amazed by the storyline created by the author.. As someone who loves OP MC and this novel, I am glad I found these gems.. But after Ch.500+, I were like "What has happened??" I was very disappointed and heartbroken.. I try to continue reading but I can't.. It getting worse to the point that I scare to read as I don't want to become hater on something that I used to love it.. So, I give 5 stars before the novel getting worse.. It is my honest review.. I guess I will just stop being a fan for now.. Well, who knows, maybe one day's, I will pick up this novel again.. Yes, someday in the future..

Review around mid 200s: The story was great and quite interesting until sometime after the full reveal of the MC’s OPness. After that, at least in the current arc, the elements of the story seemed diminished, forced, and pointless. It would be fine if the story didn’t focus directly on the MC, but it does. The author tends to drag out events with lots of padding. The MC’s values seem to change on a whim, maybe in reaction to the readers. Grammar: high quality with a couple of mistakes here and there. The author’s notes, meant to drive engagement, break immersion in an annoying way. First, most of us don't want to pay coins for these notes. Second, the author constantly apologizes for his mistakes but refuses to change or correct the problems. Seriously, don’t apologize for it if you're not going to change it. Also, readers aren’t always itching for a fight scene. What’s important is drama, tension, novelty, mystery, promise, and fulfillment. The latest scenes I’ve read sorely lack these elements. Those initial fights, even those ending in one sentence at random, had those aspects. The time outside of the physical fighting had even more of those elements and was, therefore, more enjoyable. Maybe I need to skip ahead to a future arc to get that tension and intrigue back, but I loathe to do so. (Note: Being told about the presence of and structure of arcs directly by the author's notes makes me irritated because it is also immersion-breaking. For readers, arcs are elements meant to be realized in retrospect or not at all.) I would likely recommend this story if it was an abridged version with the padding and author notes removed. The story has many worthy moments.
