My story begins as any other does. When a man and a woman love each other very much... Well that actually was not the case. My birth was the result of an "accident". My mother was forced to drop out of high school at the age of 16 to take care of me. She tried her best, and there were many potential fathers along the way, but more often than not the type of guy she attracted would not be earning boyfriend of the year anytime soon.
My story both begins and ends at the age of 16. I had a high fever and was forced to stay home from school. My mother's current boyfriend, an alcoholic by the name of Steve was staying at home with me, though this was just an excuse to get drunk.
Nature called, as it always does, but I was too weak to get out of bed, my body was soaked in sweat, and my vision was rather blurry. I tried to call for him, but my throat was so dry that no sound came out. Inevitably my bowels and bladder were forced to empty as I laid in my own filth. I felt nothing but relief as my eyes closed and my mind went black.
This is how I, James Frank died. At the tender age of 16 I died the embarrassing death of shitting myself to death. I never had a girlfriend, did poorly in school, and had no natural talent whatsoever. My only accomplishment was that I was talented in reading, my one true escape from this world as my mother could not afford a game system.
When I opened my eyes again, I found myself in a damp room with a heavy earth smell. There was also the smell of shit and body odor.
A screen appeared before me, which for some reason I had no problem reading. The type that I had heard of in several system books.

Yuri looked at her new stats, but her eyes immediately became wide as she looked at her gender. She looked down to confirm that in fact her life partner was gone, replaced by the nether regions of a female!
A sense of anger rose in her chest as she obsessed over her sudden affliction. Horror rose in her heart as she saw her weak physical stats. Her mind slowly went over everything she knew about goblins, and she quickly remembered their lustful nature.
This was not good! With her weak body she was doomed to a life of being a play toy to these disgusting goblins. She didn't even like men! How was she going to survive in the world? How could the gods be so cruel to a poor little goblin?
Well this is a problem from later, as a newborn I should be ok for at least a little while. I flexed my body, which was already capable of movement. Goblin children matured quickly, taking only a week to reach adulthood. This week would be of the utmost importance to me, as it would allow me to find a way to escape the horrible destiny that awaited me.
