More Messing Around

I slowly walked towards where I had left my axe. The blade rested on the ground as its hilt pointed upwards. I grabbed at the handle before slowly pulling it out of the ground. 

Kaidou, who emerged from the ground and smoke that he had caused, slowly began turning into his hybrid form. His smile slowly widening into a maniacal grin as purple lightning danced about his body and Kanabo.

"Boris! Show me your Hybrid form! I want to see it!!" Kaidou roared.

"You don't tell me what to do," I snapped.

I didn't need to use my hybrid form to fight him. However, I did need to take this fight a lot more seriously now compared to how I was taking it earlier.

I slowly channeled lightning and Haki along my axe as I prepared for the next bout.

We both lunged at each other and clashed mid-air, causing a huge crack on top of the skull of Onigashima. We were roughly equal in strength, now that I had been using my full strength. However, Kaidou was still holding quite a bit of an edge over me still.

He kicked me right in the gut before opening his mouth wide open.

"Heat Breath!!" 

A large ball of fire immediately made its way towards my fleeting figure.

I flipped before lowering my axe and swiping it down.

"Lightning of The Dead!"

My lightning immediately split the humongous fireball right in two. Immediately causing a huge explosion soon after, engulfing everything in flames as a result.

My Observation Haki immediately detected Kaidou's presence, and I wasted no time using Soru to appear immediately in front of him. 

Kaidou immediately brushed the flames away from him with his Kanabo, but in doing so, he had left himself wide open. I already had my axe way high on my head and was swinging it right on the middle of Kaidou's head.

Kaidou quickly looked up before raising his Kanabo to block the swing. However, Kaidou wasn't able to get that Kanabo up to his head fast enough, and I my axe immediately met Kaidou's head.

However, instead of immediately cleaving Kaidou into two separate pieces, was met with a metallic sound as sparks flew away from the impact. Kaidou's feet immediately sank deeper into the ground as my axe continued to press on Kaidou's head. 

I raised my axe before back flipping away from Kaidou, and the moment I had landed on the ground. Kaidou immediately raised his Kanabo, which had been crackling with purple lightning and Haki.

"Thunder Bellow Bagua!!!" 

I immediately raised my axe to block the attack, the attack was so strong that it ended up making me sink my feet deep into the skull of Onigashima. It didn't stop until it literally got to my knees.

An explosion immediately came out after, cracking the skull even more as a result.

I pushed off the Kanabo before launching myself out of the sunken skull. I ended up headbutting him square in the nose before I kicked him away to make some distance.

We kept going at it for quite some time as day soon turned into night. The moon shined as I kicked the side of Kaidou's head into the skull. Breaking through the skull's surface and causing him to fall into the ground.

Emerging from the hole that he had already created, Kaidou had now changed into his dragon form as he immediately took to the skies. His mouth had enlarged as he aimed right at me. 

I ended up using moonwalk to dodge Kaidou as he chomped at the spot I was previously in.

"Boris!! You won't be able to stop me with that measly form of yours!!!" Kaidou snarled as he turned his head back towards me.

"This isn't a fight that I have an obligation to go all out," I responded.

"Then what's the point of coming all the way here?! Don't tell me you just wanted to have a drink?!" Kaidou roared as he sent multiple wind blades my way.

Summoning my wings, I immediately started dodging them as I flew around Kaidou's large frame.

"I figured I may as well give someone a bit of a gift before I left," I replied with a quiet smile.

Kaidou immediately opened his mouth before sending it my way. I dodged the attack before landing on the skull. Kaidou soon after turned back into his hybrid form before landing on the skull as well.

We both stared at each other as the moon shone high above us. It would have been a beautiful sight if it wasn't for the fact that I had been fighting with Kaidou, and the top of the skull was in absolute shambles.

"Worororororo!!! Boris, you haven't been fighting with all your heart. I can tell, so how about we finish this once and for all!! A final attack with all your heart!!" Kaidou roared.

"You sure? I'm not sure that you'll be able to take the full brunt of the attack," I replied calmly.

"HA!!! We won't know unless we try!!" Kaidou laughed.

His Kanabo crackled with some more ominous lightning as its already dark color took an even darker color.

I twirled my axe slowly as I began coating my axe with Advanced Armament Haki along with Conqueror's infusion.

"Thunder Bagua: Ragnarök!!!" Kaidou roared as he swung down his axe.

"Lightning of Destruction!" I swung my axe upwards at Kaidou.

The two attacks immediately clashed, and the power that was generated from the attack immediately took to the skies, splitting the small number of skies that were in the attack's way in two. The force of the collision slowly began to push the both of us back as it was beginning to build up. 

" See, Boris? We're almost equal in strength!" Kaidou cackled as he walked around the slowly building power fusion.

"I don't think that's the case," I replied, also walking around the building power fusion.

It was a spectacle that I had seen for the first time, the collision took both our Haki and used it as a wall of sorts to compress the slowly growing power. It was a ticking time bomb, almost looking like it was going to blow up soon.

Soon, the building power couldn't handle the pressure anymore. Letting off an even bigger explosion as a result. The explosion was so big that it even made the skull tremble violently as a result.

Kaidou and I immediately planted our weapons on the ground to hold on to the ground. 

The shockwaves immediately sending anything that wasn't properly attached to the ground flying. While all of this was happening, I immediately stomped on the ground to implant myself to the skull. 

I raised my axe from the ground before gripping it with both my hands. I slowly raised my axe to the sky before infusing it with lightning as well as the Conqueror's infusion that I had applied it to earlier before.

The pressure that the explosion kept generating was beginning to be more and more powerful as time went by. It was even beginning to change the clear skies as stormy weather began to occupy the skies. I wanted to end all of this in one move.
