UA festival pt5 Erin Conners vs Destiny Amishido

I had to wait for a second for Erin. Ms.Midnight tried to start a conversation with me, but I just stared off into space. Honestly I didn't care much for Midnight, I just wanted to fight. "Sorry sorry I had to get my equipment!" Erin ran up with some sort of rifle?

"What is that?" Midnight had the same idea as me looking at the thing. It was glowing blue and buzzing and I wasn't sure if I should be scared of it or impressed. Erin held out her weapon one of three actually. She had some sort of blade on her hip and a hand gun.

Erin raised up the weird looking thing first though. "Oh this is what I call Tessie! I made it specially for Destiny. I made weapons and tools for everyone in class though. If that's what your asking Midnight. If I fought Ida I would've used a type of tether, for Tokoyami I had a light gun. Because you know he's are gloomy and 'Dark shadow!' You know? So it thought it would be funny. For..."

Midnight cut Erin off and the two stared at each other pretty seriously. "That's enough Conners. As long as it doesn't kill anything." She looked at Midnight like she was stupid, I had a feeling I shouldn't comment on what was happening. "Why would I want to kill Des? He's special, that would just be ridiculous."

I tapped my foot and the two women went on and on. I sighed, I know the other fights went about as I expected, but seriously this was by far the worst I had to watch. "C-Can we get on with it?"

Midnight broke from argue with Erin about her attitude? She immediately addressed the crowd. "Sorry about that, everyone! We were just discussing the use of her equipment! As a heads up, Erin Conners here is not apart of the support course she is actually a hero course member who makes all of her own equipment. A truly smart girl who will be fighting a frightening opponent Destiny Amishido."

Midnight began the countdown, Erin seemed ready. I don't expect I could be harmed with bullets, but I knew she wasn't allowed to use live ammo. So it meant was I likely didn't want to be hit. As soon as the match started she fired from her gun. It looked like nothing came out of it, but the whistle of something going past me was pretty clear.

I wasn't sure how I wanted to handle Erin. I did need to show off what i could do, sooo? Instead of light I fired sound. Erin dodged my attack and stepped out of the way of it, Continuing her firing. I didn't want to be hit by the unknown ammo so I was the one actually need to move.

"I didn't know you could fire sound waves Des!" I fired off a few more sound bullets? She dropped into a complete prone dodge the rest of my attacks. Each time my attacks hit something they made a boom. I couldn't imagine being in the crowd when those hit. They wouldn't do much, but that shit is still loud.

Erin's gun hadn't stopped firing and I finally found out what the ammo was and why there was so much of it. Erin had shot me with 7 needles that itched like hell and made my skin burn. Within seconds they fell off due to being melted by my blood. I could already tell I needed to give Erin far more credit.

I got far more serious and a switched my attack. I absorbed the ambient light and creating a blackout of light. I strained myself to cover the entire arena, it was a bit much. Except I needed to make sure that no one would see this. Erin called out in the dark.

"Your quirk is so powerful Destiny! I gotta wonder where your limits would be?" Erin wasn't using her gun anymore. I started absorbing the sound of my foot steps and breathing. Using my other senses I could still watch Erin take out her blade.

From what I could tell, it was a hollow blade filled with a liquid. The same as the needles I assume just a lot more. In the dark I walked up behind Erin and grabbed her by the throat. She swung at me, but I grabbed her arm. "What's in the needles Erin?"

She wrapped her legs around my arm and twisted. I slammed Erin into the ground. She pressed her legs against my face and I slammed her into the ground again. I felt her stab me and saw she dropped the knife and used my own actions to switch hands. I sighed, and slammed Erin into the ground one more time with a lot more force.

My blood was already melting the knife and the liquid was pouring across the wound and skin. I stopped absorbing energy and dropped to my knees. "Hey Erin is KO'd!"

The crowd seemed unhappy about not seeing the fight. I struggled to stand again and I could feel my legs wobble. Though I acted okay and picked Erin up. I looked to Midnight and whispered. "I'll take her to the nurse."

Midnight nodded and looked to the crowd, "Destiny Amishido has won by knock out! Though I wish I could've seen it!" I waved my hand and walked off the stage. I needed to hurry, and i speed up into the hallway. Once outside the view of the crowd I wobble and dropped.

Cementoss came around the corner with Erin's gun. "Huh? I thought..."

"Doctor now, I can't move. Erin also is bleeding in the back of her head." Cementoss practically jumped and helped us to the nurses office. It took a minute, but we made it.

Recovery girl healed Erin first and then looked me over. "You knocked her out by giving her a concussion and a skull fracture. So I gotta ask, what did she do to you young man?"

I looked at Erin, "She shot me with some needles, at first I didn't think much about it. Except I am pretty sure I have some extreme resistances to drugs and stuff. Problem is the wounds feel itchy and they are burning like hell. Not to mention the needles and knife she got me with melted way to fast."

Recovery girl nodded, "She also broke your arm, though I can't imagine you feel that." I was surprised, Erin wasn't that strong how did she break my arm? "No I can't feel that, are you able to heal whatever she poisoned me with?"

She shook her head, "I am not sure, I can't normally do something like that. We need to wait honey. That way I can ask this other one what she used on you."

I nodded, thinking over Erin. I didn't give her enough credit. Maybe I should visit her and Mei in the lab more often. My tongue was starting to feel numb...

This was not the fight I had expected, at least I would get strong because of this right?
