Gluttony: Devour

... Hunger. The only reason I’m here. To consume everything. I must... this place shall be eaten... it is my duty. To eat. To consume. To create space so they can create the world anew. To create the universe anew. To do that, I must... F E E D. [Author here! The main character has no gender, for starters, as I do not know how to write the fuk time properly. Secondly, the mc may or may not be a self insert. Thirdly, the updating schedule may be absolute shit because I can sleep for 24hrs at a time. I hope you can enjoy this small project as much as I do!]

Hippo-crates

After waking up from the unsurprisingly draining "nap", which was mostly kids not wanting to sleep, Lyavin was grumpy. Like, really grumpy. Grumpy enough for all the kids except Izuku, who seemed perfectly fine, to stay away. It might've been their aversion to "quirkless" kids, though, but it only proved that they weren't very nice after all. Lyavin remembered their mom saying to go socialize with the loner kid first, so he would know what the other kids treat outsiders. If the loner kid was actually nice, like Izuku, that meant stay away from the others.

If the loner was like katsu dog, then go with the other kids. Oh, here he comes now, with his obnoxiously large group of bootlickers.

"Hey new kid, why're you hanging out with broccoli deku? He's a loser and a weirdo! He can't even become a hero!"

One kid with a leg strengthening quirk joined him, with a few other kids jeering.

"If he can't become a hero, he's good as trash!"

"He's a failure to the city!"

"""Yeah!"""

Unfortunately for the barking Pomeranian, Lyavin wasn't having any of that, as they subconsciously determined Izuku as friend material after getting to know him, and they knew that even quirkless people could become heroes in secret, stealing info. Also because they were grumpy. So, they decided to jeer back.

'If he can't become a hero, than you can't either since most of you don't even have useful quirks. You can streng-ten your entire body with steroids, and throw firecrackers that have a bigger boom than katsu dog will ever have. So, I see that you're all hippo-crates... Hippocrates... hypocrites.'

An awkward silence filled the kindergarten. Guess they didn't think about how useless their quirks can easily be. Leg-kid spoke up, surprisingly, but they guessed it was because katsu dog couldn't refute what Lyavin just said as his quirk was only able to form party-popper (thin paper-wrapped gunpowder rocks the size of an adult ladybug) sized explosions.

"Well, when I grow up, I'll be able to jump very very high and kick villains so hard that they wouldn't be able to get out of jail!"

'And then the long-range villains will hit your upper half because you can't fight midair and that it is much easier, easily ending you and your so called "career".'

Leg-kid looked down. His eyes started getting watery. Annd he's starting to cry. He's sobbing and wailing. He's kneeling and being absolutely devastated. Now he's lying down on the floor with a small puddle of tears, whimpering, surrounded by dumbstruck kids that were surprised that he could fall into despair that easily.

The highschooler came quick to see what happened, as she heard one of the kids wiling and crying. Carefully moving the small kids, she found leg-kid face down on the floor, with a slowly-growing puddle of tears.

She made a sad face and comforted him, while also posting the short video of the kid crying, surrounded by other kids, to her channel on MePipe, the MHA version of YouTube. She then asked who made leg-kid cry, berating the Lyavin after all the others pointed to them.

That only made Lyavin even grumpier, not even hearing a word the highschooler said and glaring at her. Once she was done, Lyavin quickly found the spot that she liked the most and put the most harmful things he could find there. Scissors, sharp building blocks, LETSGOS, and paper into that area.

Izuku followed Lyavin like a lost puppy, surprised and thankful that they stood up for him and protected him like a friend. Bakugo was like that once, before he discovered that Izuku was quirkless, and before he started calling him deku.

Lyavin sat down in the play corner, while the others were playing in the empty space of the front part of the kindergarten. Someone managed to put a paper cone saying "dunce" on the leg-kid's head for fun, and katsu tried his best to make his small sparks into larger sparks while grumbling something about beating the new kid up.

Izuku wanted to say something to Lyavin, but they said it first.

'I don't care what you do, as long as it isn't lying or insulting me. You don't seem like somebody who would do that. You're friend now.'

Izuku, finally having a friend after being zoned out for not having a quirk, ran to hug Lyavin. Of course they accepted, though a bit awkwardly, as they just made a new friend. A bit clingy, but Izuku's a friend... actually, Zuzu seems easier to pronounce. Lyavin's unofficial nickname for Izuku for the rest of his life, whether or not he likes it.

The pair ended up playing hide-and-seek, with Zuzu finding Lyavin most of the time since they always hid in the smallest and darkest place possible, which further helped Zuzu's ego back up to the average confidence an average kid should have, not a beaten and miniaturized one.

At the end of the day at the kindergarten (a few hours later, Izuku was surprised at Lyavin's sheer size of their lunch/snack and overanalyzed what Lyavin's quirk was until he was told it was Devour.), Lyavin said goodbye to Izuku, taunted katsu dog, and was picked up by their parents.

"How was school, sweetie?"

"Did you make any friends?"

'I made one. Everyone else was a self-pretending prick.'

"Pretentious, sweetie. Who's your friend?"

"Is it a girl?"

"Michor!"

"Sorry."

'A boy, with green hair. He's nice, no quirk, and he has a former friend named katsu dog.'

"Katsu dog? Katsu... Katsuki Bakugo? That rabid dog of a child?"

"MICHOR."

"sorry..."

And the day went on, with a slightly strained relationship between the two for the rest of the evening while Lyavin thought that Zuzu must like Katsu dog a whole lot to defend him even though he gets bullied BY him. They'd have to ask their dad about it later.

More of you guys are putting this in your library, WOW. Never got this much on other places. Also, next chap, Lyavin’s gonna chomp someone in self-defense, going fucking feral. Cya in like, four days? Aight bye!
