7. The First Phase Of The Project Finished

Ecstatic about his reward, Sico continued doing his job for the day and went back to his room after finishing it. But before he goes to his room, Sico goes to the Twin's place to share the news about his invention approval from the overseer and when they hear it they are happy for Sico and say that they have to find a time to celebrate it. After that Sico went back to his room and shared it again with his parents while eating dinner, after getting some congratulations and being happy for you Sico took a shower and took some rest for the day.

When he wakes up, Sico hurries to take a shower and eat his breakfast because today is the day of the trial for the case of RD chief corruption of the vault resources for many years. On the way to the trial took place, Sico meets the Twins and Calvin who are going together to see the trial. After talking for a while, they went to the trial place together, when they arrived they saw that there were many people who cared about this case.

After waiting for a few minutes, the trial started and the judge was the overseer with the other section chiefs. They started the trial by introducing the core of the case and the people who were involved in this case, when the judges said that there was at least one main suspect and over 25 suspects who were to be believed as the henchmen of the main suspect there many gasping sound in the room because they can believe that this all happened under their nose all these years and there are many people who involve in this case.

After a two hour long trial, the judges give their verdict with the evidence and interrogation that were taken before the trial, the judges sentence the main suspect and 5 people to be believed by his family to be banished outside the vault and never return while the other suspects sentenced to 10 years in prison. When the verdict was sentenced there were many cheers in the vault and of course a crying voice from the suspects, Sico with his group went to the cafeteria to eat lunch while talking about the trial that was finished not too long ago. After finishing their lunch, they went back to their own job and Sico continued to do his job until the night after that Sico went back to his room to eat dinner and take a shower then went to sleep.

A month flew by after the trial and in the morning Sico woke up, ate his breakfast with his family, and took a shower after that he set off to work. Today is the last day of the project, they just need a little bit of finishing touch by the project group then it will be as good as before and ready to become a liveable place. Of course, they don't change the lab because it will be used to research if they find new diseases and try to find a new cure for them.

When Sico arrives he continues his last job and wants to finish it perfectly. While working he heard an announcement from Calvin that after finishing their last job there would be a party to congratulate us on finishing the project's first phase from overseer. Sico hears some cheers from the others and he is happy that there is a party that means many delicious food and drinks for him to eat.

After finishing his last job, Sico with Curie and the Twins go together to the party. When they arrive at the place, they hear some music and laughter from the other. They sat at the table empty and took food for themselves to eat, while eating Sico talked about his dream and plan for the future with the Twins and Curie. When they chat with each other, the overseer arrives and makes a speech thanking the people who did all the hard work for the project. After finishing her speech, she sees Sico and comes to him because she has something to discuss with him.

Gwen: "Sico, do you have a minute?."

Sico: "Of course."

The two leave the group and find a spot for them to talk privately between the two of them. After finding the spot that is perfect, the overseer gets straight to the point.

Gwen: "Sico, you know that we talk about the walkie talkie a while ago right? Do you have another invention that can be helpful for the vault? Like a new model of terminal or something."

Sico: "Well of course there are a few inventions that I have but don't have time to make the prototype to test it and show it to you. Why?"

Gwen: "Well I think we could use some new technology to improve the vault conditions you know. If you have already done with the prototype, can you show it to me?."

Sico: "Of course overseer, I always want to improve the technology we have in the vault so that it can make it easier to live in."

Gwen: "Great then, I will wait for it."

Sico: "Yes overseer, now excuse me I want to continue eating my dinner at the party."

Gwen: "Of course Sico dismisses."

After finishing speaking to the overseer, Sico went back to the party to continue eating his dinner and talking to his friend. When it was already midnight, the party was over and everyone went back to their room, Sico went back to his room along with Curie. After arriving at his room, Sico went to take a shower and ready to sleep in. But when Sico already lay down in his bed ready to get to sleep, Sico heard some notification from the system.

System: [Congratulations Sico! You finish expanding the vault and get a reward: a modern TV blueprint, a camera recorder blueprint, 1 special stat, and a ticket to upgrade Skill to intermediate skill.]

Sico: 'Hey that is good to improve the TV quality in the vault and the camera recorder could be useful to take some shoot went exploring the commonwealth.'

Sico: 'Hmm… what stats I should improve? Intelligence? Strength? Or Perception? Hey, I almost forgot about luck, the other can be improved with some training but luck can not.'

Sico: 'Well for the upgrade ticket, I think I use it on the science skill so that went I make a new invention it would be much easier to build it.'

After putting the special stat reward from the system, Sico went to see his stats.

After finishing adding all the rewards he got, Sico was satisfied with his status and went to sleep. When he woke up it was already ten in the morning and he was late for his job. Sico quickly gets up to take a shower and eat breakfast when he realizes that yesterday at the party Calvin made an announcement that they would get a two day vacation before going back to their old job.

Because he has two days' worth of vacation, on the first day he continues his regular exercise, reads some books, and trains his shooting skills because he feels that this month he hasn't concentrated enough to do his training because of his job. On the second day, he built the prototype from the blueprint he got the TV, computer, and camera recorder so that he could show it to the overseer hoping it could be useful for the vault.

Two days passed, and Sico continued to do his work around the vault fixing things that had broken down and maintaining the vault. While doing his job, the overseer sends someone to call him and she asks for him to go to the overseer's room. After arriving at the place, the overseer saw Sico and asked him to sit down.

Gwen: "Sico, we need to discuss the next phase of the project."

Sico: "Of course overseer, so when the next phase starts? when the resource will be available? I hope you tell me all in detail of course if you don't mind."

Gwen: "After the consideration from me and all section chiefs, the next phase will start in 3 months because we have to wait and see are the new place could be useful and not waste our time and resources. The time we need to gather the resources is at least 2 months because we have to them while trading or sending the specialist group outside by gathering them ourselves."

Sico: "Well for the resource, I don't mind waiting for that long because it's really hard to gather them. But for the wait-and-see thing, I really disagree what I mean is that we have to expand our vault. Because the vault is already full or overhauled that's why we have to expand it, I can promise you that it wouldn't be wasting our time and our resources."

Gwen: "Okay then I will try to convince them to get it started in 2 months, right after the resources arrive."

Sico: "Great, then let me know if you already have the news. Now excuse me, I have to get back to work."

Gwen: "Okay then Sico goodbye."

After that Sico went out of the room and continued doing his job around the vault. After his job for today finished, Sico went back to his room to continue making the prototypes because it was not done yet and needed at least 2 months for these prototypes ready and then will be shown to the overseer. After making progress on the prototype, Sico continued his regular exercise and read some books until dinner then took a shower after that he went to sleep.
