Being a Cat in a Dungeon, It's not easy

A wonderful take on the isekai genre. This is a welcome subvert of the isekai genre. Firstly the protagonist Alex isn't an over powered wish fulfillment author insert hero. He's a normal guy who got caught up in a weird situation, Ok well in the first chapter his whole family dies tragecly, basically out of nowhere, and by the time truck-kun finds him he's sitting depressed in a state of delirious despair, on a park bench. Its tragic and funny at the same time in a morbid kind of way. But Alex does suffer in this story and you do feel for him. Spoilers Below. After rencarnating in an egg Alex spends his first days fighting for his life, and running away to try and find some safe location. And he does find it, unfortunately it's a safe room in a dungeon and as a dungeon monster by disobeying the dungeon and entering it, he's made himself a traitor and now has a kill on site order for his head. Fantastic. But their is a bright side while searching for food he comes across a mother cat avenging her kittens and for helping her in her last moments Mama Cat ignores the kill on site order and nurses him back to health. Giving her his blessing and dropping a miracle class loot for her adopted kitten child. (Ok, yea. Incase it wasn't obvious from the title. Ales is a dungeon Mob. Specifically a weak little kitten.) But even without his Swag new collar and blessings he's well on his way to becoming the strongest dungeon Mob ever. Not soon enough thou. Because soon after the demon lord, who runs this dungeon walks into the scene. Beats Alex within an inch of life and steals his mother's necklace, saying he'll givit away as some premier loot. Alex on his part seeing how outclassed he is does the rational thing and vows to kill him, reclaim his treasured necklace, and make that demon regret ever even think of stealing from him. And that's all the set up. I could go on how the battles are cool, and varied. how the lore is sprinkled in to explain the power system. Or how Alex's journey of revenge and growing stronger is compelling to read, and root for him. Honestly though there is no one reason to read this story. It's how it all comes together that makes it good. I would liken it to cake batter. The ingredients alone are ok. But it's how they come together that forms the overall feel. And the feel is nice.

I can't say much course it's still a bit early to give a detailed review, but from the little I just read, I'm sure this is going to be a nice adventure It's so hilarious, can't stop laughing all through the chap 😂😂😂 I'm your Dadi, I've killed your entire family with a broom, and am gonna kill you as well 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Please release more chap 😉😉, good luck. This novel was good when mc stayed as a cat and didnt have a transformation to human now the author followed everyother **** novel where the mc starts out as a cool creature then turns into a much more inferior human cuz author cant muster up the 4 braincells it takes to keep the mc as his original non human form. Nope author be like "let me copy the other guys and give my mc a human transformation cuz i cant think for my self herp derp even tho his original form is mich stronger nope lets make him a weak little *****" man i hate authors that do this stupid bull why even make your title stuck as a cat in a dungeon if ur not gonna keep the mc as a cat might as well make it "copy and paste plot in a dungeon" **** author **** book

Extra Fact: I am using this book space to write this original, I had about a month without uploading a chapter of my previous book, written in Spanish, and I had about 3k of visits when I decided to write another original novel, now that I think about it, It is as if I had chosen to write a book with a difficult start.

I really love this story so far! The plot is compelling! The MC is super interesting and hilarious! And there's a really great mix ballance of ******* and humour that keeps me coming back for more. Dearest Authour-san, you are a really talented writer and anyone who says otherwise about your writing of this story is probably a grammar-nazi who's complaining about the english quality. That stuff can be fixed later by an editor! The story itself is great and I earnestly look forward to reading more and seeing what happens in this world you've created and what adventures you send Alex on. Thankyou muchly! \(^o^)/

Great story with high-quality character development and thought process. However, when a story includes gods or similar omnipotent beings, I always feel like the strenght and development of the MC and the world around him gets limited. I prefer it when there is higher races and natural life development in the backstory instead of gods or omnipotent worlds with the ability to create things.

Please don't drop this book I really want to continue to read the story and see where it goes and just you atleast have one faithful reader.

The story itself is quite interesting but the translation quality is absolutely horrible. In fact I'm almost certain that it has been done with a google translate or a similiar tool leaving it almost unreadable.

Very sad that this nice story wont get the ending it deserves...............................................................................

I so love this novel,its a good inspiration by focusing on a cat but with the game characteristics where Alex checks his levels....its also cute and cool when Alex chose his human form and can't speak without the nyaaa!

After reading this book, my eyes began to bleed from the mistakes I have seen, but the story and the MC heal my eyes and that makes it very easy for me to continue reading.

This book created a deep seated depressive itch that needs scratching The way the main protagonist is discribed really allowed me to connect with this story. I'm certain that most readers will agree that this book and some of your others really have a powerful empathetic effect on the reader But you have left us uppon a large pricepiece of emotional expectation [img=recommend] I implore you to start writing again I made a rare effort to make a login and write this Evan one chapter on any one book per month 🥺😿

Very interesting novel, continue in the same spirit and everything will be gorgeous, I do not know English and probably write with errors on this, but I would like you to devote more time to this novel, because it is excellent.

It's one of those books where you have to translate a sentence yourself to make it understandable. The MC has wild personality swings between pussy and badass. Some of his breakdowns annoying. The system is good, and he isn't ridiculously OP which can ruin stories. Just OP enough that he crushes most opposition but has to put thought and strategy into battles to win vs harder enemies. The action is good, would be much better with an editor so it makes more sense, but still better than most authors that blatantly avoid writing fight scenes. Overall I enjoyed the story and want to see the female kitten catch back up with Alex and adventure with him.
