In a future timeline, the earth was visited by a species known as the Slarkovs. Having lost their home planet and in search of a new one, the Earth was the next habitable planet for them. Humans and Slarkovs made a deal with each other in return for the Slarkovs living on Earth. The Slarkovs traded their technology and knowledge for a new home. They were similar to humans except for some of them who had slight differences, so fitting into society wasn't a problem. Over the years, Slarkovs and humans began to mate with one another and reproduce offspring. This, in turn, created new species known as the mixedblood. Centuries later, mixedbloods could tap into their bloodline and perform unimaginable feats. Gustav was born into an age where bloodline determines everything and struggles to fit in with a useless bloodline. His bloodline only grants him the ability to change his hair colour, destroying his hopes and dreams for a great future. His fate is turned around when an unexpected situation leads to him finding a system that grants him the power to unlock and upgrade bloodlines by completing quests, but he's baffled by two quests with a five-year deadline. Success will grant him unimaginable rewards... But only one thing awaits him if he fails... Death! Follow Gustav on his interesting journey filled with unprecedented adventures, danger, and death, maybe? PS: The MC's character growth happens more than once in this story. Chapter 1How It All Began

In a large arena, sounds of cheers from the audience reverberated vibrantly across the vicinity.

Some were cheering while others were chanting the name of a person on the battlefield that was displayed on huge screens.

Large square-shaped screens projected a battlefield that was riddled with destruction at different corners.

A group of five backed away in fear as a young man approached them. The group of five were laced in green upper battle vests while the young man approaching was in red.

He was about six feet tall with dirty blond hair and a slightly built body. He wasn't too buff, neither was he too slim. He seemed to have a perfectly toned body.

He slowly walked towards the group that was backing away elegantly as his hands glowed crimson. His eyes had a look of coldness and aloofness as he spoke,

"Your journey ends here!"

He stretched out his right palm after saying this.

Vrreii~

Crimson! Crimson! Crimson! Crimson!

Chants of the young man's name who had just appeared could be heard from the audience as a battle ensued between the young man and the group.

---

'Yes, that's me... I'm Gustav Crimson. My journey to this moment had been nothing short of painful, disastrous, and dangerous but also adventurous.

I was nothing but a mixedblood with a useless bloodline at the start, so...

How did I become powerful enough for people to chant my name in adoration and for opponents to back away in fear upon my arrival? We will have to take a trip down Memory Lane for you all to understand... let's start from where it all began,'

(Author's note: THIS ISN'T THE END OF THE STORY. IT'S JUST AN INTERMISSION. THE JOURNEY WILL CONTINUE WHEN WE GET TO THIS SCENE IN THE FUTURE!)

*****************

-Three years ago

In a mountain area surrounded by a dense forest of tall trees, mild winds blew, giving the atmosphere a serene vibe. At the top of the mountain, a modern city glowing in the dark of night could be spotted northwards.

It was extremely enchanting from the view up here, and the lights looked like clusters of fireflies.

A particularly brightly lit tall tower could be seen far ahead within the heart of the city, extending straight into the skies above.

A teenage boy in a maroon-coloured school uniform stood at the edge of a cliff with a lifeless look in his eyes. His hair kept changing colour. It changed from red to blue, blue to green, and now it was currently blond.

There were tears in his eyes as he stared at the city in front, "What is the point of being born into this world when I can not pursue my dreams?" He spoke in a devastated tone, "Hahaha, what am I saying? People like me don't even have the right to dream," he laughed in self-ridicule as he answered his question.

"I sure have lived a shitty life. I hope I get reborn into a better one," He added while reminiscing...

Gustav was born in an age where bloodline was everything. His parents were also mixedblood who could use their bloodlines to perform superhuman feats. However, their bloodline was low-ranked, which solidified their status as average in society.

When Gustav was born, his parents believed he would awaken a high-ranking bloodline due to the fact that mixbloods coming together to reproduce always brought about an evolved bloodline.

Evolved bloodlines were always high-ranked and very powerful. Since bloodlines determined your fate and status in society, they had high hopes for their child.

Unfortunately, Gustav awakened an evolved bloodline that was the most useless in the history of evolved bloodlines. He could only manipulate his hair to change colour.

Gustav's parents were extremely disappointed when he awakened his bloodline. Gustav, who was only six years old at that time, noticed his parents' attitude towards him changed for the worse. All the love and care that they had been displaying since his birth disappeared.

Sometimes, they would not remember to feed him throughout the day, and whenever he complained of hunger, "USELESS! YOU ONLY KNOW HOW TO EAT!" His parents would shout at him with contempt.

It was hard for him to understand at that age, but he noticed that he was treated the same way in society as he grew. He couldn't make friends in school and was always bullied repeatedly.

His peers and teachers would always point fingers and laugh at him. No one gave a damn about him because his bloodline was the lowest of the bunch.

It got so bad that others who were considered low thanked their stars for the bloodline they awakened since it was at least ranked higher than his.

Gustav's dream of joining the MBO and exploring the stars and different parts of the galaxy died with the awakening of his bloodline.

Gustav's mother took in and conceived another boy when he was close to being eight years old.

The boy was only two years old when he awakened a high-grade bloodline.

His parents were so joyful that they totally ignored Gustav and gave all their love and attention to his little brother.

He loved his little brother regardless, but the feeling wasn't reciprocated, "Why do I have trash like you as my big brother?"

As his little brother grew, he displayed the same contemptible attitude society showed to him. His brother became more appreciated in society, especially in school, where he was known as a genius, while Gustav was treated the exact opposite of that.

Gustav was hated, treated unfairly, and bullied day by day. He would always come to the mountain located west of Plankton City and try to commit suicide, but he was still scared of death.

No matter how hard he tried, he could never go through with committing suicide even if he knew that no one would notice that he was gone.

Whenever he stared at the bottom of the cliff, he would gulp down saliva as he imagined how his bones would be broken to pieces after making contact with the hard ground, "My head will be turned into mashed potatoes,"

He would always back away and come back the next day with a newfound zeal for committing suicide, but the same situation would repeat itself. He would back away after his imagination went wild again.

Today, he had decided that he would definitely jump down. He stood a few centimetres from the edge of the cliff and stared down at the forest ground below. The ground was more than a thousand feet away from the cliff.

Gulp!

"This is where the journey of Gustav Oslov ends!" He raised his head to the sky and yelled.

His voice echoed across the vicinity, and a star in the sky glowed brighter as if it was replying to him.

"Eh?" Gustav noticed something and gazed at the sky intently.

The star that glowed brighter was increasing in size.

"What's wrong with that star? Why does it keep getting bigger?"

For someone who was about to die, Gustav was quite observant.

The stars in the skies were countless, but this particular one located in the northwest kept increasing in size.

Gustav's eyes widened in shock as he realized something, "Fuck, it's not increasing in size. It's headed towards my location!"

Gustav turned around to flee after realizing this, "I don't want this kind of death. My body will be blasted to pieces!"

He screamed in fear as he turned his neck to stare at the projectile headed towards the cliff.

Blam!

The glowing projectile slammed into the cliff.

Crumble! Crumble! Crumble!

The impact caused cracks that kept spreading across a radius of more than fifty feet. Gustav had only moved about seven feet away from his initial position, so he was still within the range of the impact when it started crumbling.

"Kiiaarrrhhh!"

Gustav screamed like a pig being slaughtered as he fell along with the pieces of the crumbling cliff towards the bottom of the mountain.

In the process of falling and screaming like a pregnant woman in labour, Gustav fainted in mid-air due to fear and shock.

That was the reason he didn't notice a small crimson glow fly into his mouth which was wide open from all the screaming.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.

Review based on what i have read so far ( chapter 60+) It's my personal opinion so if you have anything against on what I'm going to say you can write your own review 1. the world background- can't say much since the story is in early stage. So far I like how the author described the world setting, events and characters interaction. 2. pacing of the story- as a reader, personally, i feel like the author did a great job regulating this. It's not so slow where you'll be skipping words for unwanted fillers. It's not so fast where you'll feel like you missed out something. It's the best a reader can ask for, we'll, aside from the cliffhangers. 3. MC's character development- looking at things the way they progressed. His character development is understandable for me, for short i like the way the mc progress. He's a bit edgy at times, it's expected given how he lived his life up to this point. Hoping there will be some progress between him and a certain someone, i will not give a name but she's very likeable. 4. MC's system- there are not much interaction between the mc and the system unlike other novels. It has its own advantages for the mc just like every other mc, but it's not up to the point where i will call it OP. MC still has to do his part to gain something. 5. Characters surrounding the mc- they are not plain to read. They have their own depth and mystery that will make you want to know more about them. Of course, we can't forget about the stepping stones for our mc, some of them are stupid as usual while some are smart and think for themselves when to back out- unlike the stupid ones. The mc is ruthless and i like it, im not really into naive and goody-two-shoes kind. Realistically speaking, if you look at every great person at the top in our current world despite their different attitudes they all have similarities if you study them. Yes they act and do good things to look good in front of us but is that really there is? No, i think not, they're just good at hiding their worse side from our plain eyes. Every person at the top knew both the black and white of life. As what Niccolo Machiavelli said "a wise prince should be both fear and love".

grammer, maybe a few here and there, English isn't my first language nor am i too proficient so as long as it's readable and fluid then i really don't care for the small mistakes so 5/5. character design, the character design is dog shit. it's too bad, even most eastern fantasy novels aren't that bad, i don't even know where to start...actually i do, i will start from the very first few paragraphs. the author starts with a "glimpse" of the future of how in 3 years the MC is gonna be op and guess what the people chant his name as? they call him "crimson lord" dude, the cringe level was so high it covered me like a coat, it would have been ironically less edgy if the people chanted "edge lord" lmao. he took the "im trash so i get abused and bullied" way too fuken far and he didn't give valid excuses yet. forget committing suicide, I'm surprised that he's alive, and for someone as "trash" as him, why does everybody put so much energy into torturing him and putting him an inch away from life and their lives revolve around it like wtf?! also, the author like to tell rather than show, he says that the mc is smart but the mc keeps on doing dumb and stupid things. when it comes to other characters, if they aren't literally trying to kill the mc ust because he has a "trash" power, they are shitting on him about why he still didn't kill himself. and all of them are very obnoxious like holy shit, i would have killed myself whether i have a strong or weak power by virtue of me having to hear these people talk on a daily basis. that goes for the system too, it's annoying as ****. overall 3/5 just cuz i think there is potential for the story and i don't want to lower the rating too much stability...well it's pretty stable let's hope it stays that way, for now, there haven't been too many chapters.5/5 story development, i like the fact that it's gonna have to do with space soon enough and meeting new species so on and so forth and that's mostly where the 4 starts to come from, i took only 1 star which is something very generous as what we saw in the first chapter as a glimpse to the future was hella cringe but i can see many ways the author can improve upon it so by the time it's the period where the glimpse of the future showed, he could change things so it isn't as cringe. also, the story is very very forced, like a constipated person trying to take a shit.

Almost three hundred chapters have been published at the time of writing this review. Spoiler alert: I will like to give a breakdown of our journey so far. From 1 - 150+ was volume one. These chapters contained scenes of the MC's growth, both in abilities as well as character. You may like or dislike his character sometimes when reading because character development is was kind of constant. So based on the situation he may change a little. Things might not have been executed in the best way possible in terms of breaking down explanations that were written in later chapters. This was done to prevent info dumps and fillers. Everything unexplained was later explained in the future chapters without a single detail omitted. The next volume which is currently ongoing has several mini-arcs. The first mini-arc was just concluded. It comprised of the MBO entrance test as well as a few scenes giving explanations to things that happened during the six weeks time skip. Also, a few scenes showing us happenings outside of the MBO test arc were included. The test arc went on for longer than I intended. Some readers that might feel the need to skip scenes to find explanations on the kitchen accident as well as what happened during the six weeks time jump, can head to chapter 294. I've written side stories where everything that was skipped in the past chapters was tabled out in scenes. After the side chapters, we will continue with the current storyline which leads on to Gustav's life within the MBO camp. For new and old readers, Chapters 1 - 161 are being edited to give you all a better reading experience. Thank you all for the support so far. Peace out ✌️ -TimVic

For referenece, im currently on chapter 89 out of 730ish. I feel like I've read enough to get the general vibe of the novel. So far, I have a lot of mixed feelings about this novel. I'm going to list my pro's and con's and if I don't drop this I'll come back and update this review. Pros: - Unlike other system novels, the system doesn't baby the protagonist. He has to figure thing out himself for the most part, which is refreshing. - The bloodline powers are really unique so far and I really like how his initial power was upgraded to something useful but not incredibly op. Hopefully the power scaling for him isn't to crazy and he doesnt bulldoze through everything later on. Cons: - Everyone from his parents to his classmates are cartoonishly evil. It seems like 90% of the characters in this novel are there so protag has a reason to act edgy and think the worlds against him. For example, I can understand his younger brother acting like a brat and cursing him at every moment because hes a child but his mother doing the same makes no sense in my opinion. If author wanted a "cold/abusive" parent making them treat protag like air/ being extremely distant would make more sense. Instead his mother also reads like an annoying brat despite being an adult...Same thing with school mates. It would have been more believable if only the main 3 bullies in the beginning were after him and everyone else was just distant and cold. - The protag is way to edgy are certain points. For example, I have no idea why he treats FL horribly from the moment they meet. Its not like they have a bad history, he just seems to hate her for no real reason. I couldn't understand why he slams the door in her face on there second or third meeting...You think since everyone else is so aggressively mean to him he would appreciate who ever is nice to him. Author says its for characters development but an explanation on why hes so edgy in these types of situations is needed for this to even be remotely believable.

I don't know why the author decided to write a bloodline system novel when he obviously does not care about the bloodlines or abilities. While the novel in itself is good, the author constantly leaves out the descriptions of new skills and bloodlines and leaves us trying to pick up the pieces in our heads . Like he will kill some people and get their bloodline but he won't mention what they are for like 20 chapters. When he kills like 20 criminals and then sits down to combine them the author shows like one combination and then just throws in a line like "Then I combined 4 other abilities" and then like never mentions it again. If your gonna write a system novel, you should put effort into showing us what bloodlines he collects and creates. You would think that would be a big part of something literally named the bloodline system. But I guess no, the author just jumps over crucial details for no real reason. Also when he combines abilities the system tells him how compatible they are, but no matter what it says the mc always combines it anyway. Also For the first 200 chapters the mc like doesn't take other peoples bloodlines unless they attack him, like why can't he go out and hunt criminals or something. he can get unlimited bloodlines but he only takes like 4. WHY???? Don't get me started on the random abilities the system gives him like dash for no other reason than being a system novel. Would be a lot cooler if the mc got his abilities more from bloodlines then random system powerups. Again the author should just put more of a focus on the bloodlines. Why write a story focused on them then just gonna ignore them. Leaves me confused and disappointed.
