21) Gringotts......

That Saturday the family headed out to Diagon Alley to go visit Gringotts, Cory was expecting something grand when he walked into Diagon Alley looking even more excited than Artemis. The moment the wall moved and they walked in though it wasn't anything like he expected, the place was just old and there were crowds of just Wizards in their robes.

His and Artemis's faces that were filled with delight slowly shifted to disappointment, His mom and Rosalie laughed at their faces, his dad put on a dignified expression though people already recognizing them. There was whispers going on around them but they tuned them out, they didn't need or want anyone's approval, at this point his parents were back just to see the Triwizarding Tournament.

Being Lord's of their houses would just help them do things in the Wizarding world without others stepping in their way. The family walked up to the steps of Gringotts looking at the large white marble bank, Cory looked at the place in fascination it was the best looking building he has seen so far.

Cory took Rosalie's hand and picked up Artemis and they walked behind his parents as they went inside and walked up to one of the tellers. Artemis looked at them wide eyed and before anyone could say anything she spoke, "Oh my gosh they are so adorable." she said looking at the goblins who raised a brow at her.

"Interesting what are you exactly child?" the teller said looking her over feeling a different type of magic coming from her.

"What do you mean? I am Daddy and Mommy's daughter Artemis!" she said with a happy smile, "Ahh also I am Grandma and Grandpa's Artemis too."

They thought she was going to say something serious but she was just stating what everyone else knew with a proud smile on her face. The Teller actually chuckled at it making most of the Wizards walking around shocked since they never laughed at anyone else who came in.

"What can we do for you today?" He said going back to the parents.

"Well Mr. Ragnok," His dad started saying the goblins name, "We are here to meet the account manager for the Travers and Peverell we have an appointment with him."

Ragnok looked them over before nodding, "Follow me he is expecting you, seems the last to the line of Travers and the last of the daughters from the Peverell's has finally shown up."

Ragnok led them to an office before knocking twice and they were let in, inside sitting behind a desk that was to big for him their account manager. "Hello I am the account manager surprisingly for both for the Peverell's and the Travers, My name is Gornuk, there are many things that we need to go over concerning your account but before that I need to know if you are going to take lordship of your houses?"

His parents looked at each other before nodding to him, "Yes, we will need it if we are coming back into this world." His mom said but she didn't look to happy about it.

"Very well," he reached into his desk and took out two boxes one was solid black with a sword going through a cross while the other was purple with what looked like a raven carrying off Rose. (Don't know if they have descriptions but I went with this) he pushed them to his parents, "These are your lordship rings, seeing as you are the last members of your houses and were never disowned then it is your duty to take up the house."

His parents opened each box and slipped on the rings, a subtle blue almost black magic washing over his dad while a purple-pink washed over his mom. The two were in a trance for a moment before they came back to themselves most likely the rings checking them over before accepting them.

"Now that you have gained the acceptance of the rings and claimed rights to your houses we need to go over your accounts and manage the house." Gornuk explained taking out a book.

"Don't bother with that," His dad said stopping the goblin who looked at him with a raised brow, "If you truly want to help use manage our houses then it is simple we are going to have our house elf take anything we want from there after that you sell off what we own. Give us 80% while the other 15% goes to Gringotts and you can keep the last five for yourself."

Cory's mom didn't stop him while Cory called out to Nissy, "Nissy we need you to go to each of these places and take every book they have along with anything you think would be useful to us understood?"

"Nissy will do it right away young master." Nissy said with excitement taking the parchment from his hand to start her journey.

His parents were the ones who came up with this, seeing as they didn't care about the house then it was an easy fix. Gornuk looked excited that he was getting payment and his head was already starting to come up with ideas on how to get more money from selling off their things.

"Is there anything else before we go?" His mom asked looking at the greedy goblin.

"Nope that is everything, your families had no debts and other than the shares in companies then you just have liquid assets, feel free to come by when you need something more." He assured them with his creepy smile on his face, "I will owl you when we have sold off your assets."

The family thanked him then walked out Cory being the first to speak, "Well since we are going to be here longer how about changing some of their backwards thinking?" Everyone besides Artemis looked at him in confusion but she also didn't know what was going on so, "Well has everyone looked around this place still use the floo for talks and they don't have a single electronic, we live in the year 2014 now shouldn't we do something about this?"

His mother caught on quick like his dad, "You mean we work on making magic and technology work. With your phone designs and other products we could change the way this backward place thinks, though it will take time we could do it."

His dad nodded agreeing, "Yeah this could also be the work we can do while you are at school, we can make Rosalie the CEO here to run our company that way people see her as inventive while also when you officially marry it will raise your status more."

"Yeah, she will gain prestige and while other might reject it at first when they see that it will help with communication and entertainment then they will come around more." His mom said thinking of the pure-bloods who would be put off by it until they saw the benefits they gained from it.

"Exactly, I was thinking that if we manage to do this then we can start with cell phones and make the plans like normal ones which will increase our profit. While also we can take it public but only sell off up to twenty percent of the place that way more are will to go along with it." Cory said already coming up with plans in his head about what he wanted to get done.

"We can start this summer then." his dad said nodding when they got to the doors of Gringotts, they had a silencing charm around them so no one knew what they were talking about.

"Can we go get Ice cream now?" Artemis asked from Rosalie's arms making everyone laugh.

"Well me and grandma will take you to get it but you dad and grandpa have to go to school and sign your dad up." Rosalie told her pinching her nose, Artemis nodded and said by to the two men.
