"What are you doing in this bed?" asked Alex as he looked at Elizabeth who hurriedly got up from the bed. Standing beside the bed, Elizabeth was stammering, feeling embarrassed and exposed

"Miss, I have something important to report."

"What is it?" asked Elizabeth as she had a terrible feeling

"Miss your dad was kidnapped."

"What?" shouted Elizabeth with a look of shock and disbelief on her face.

"What did you say?"

"Last night your dad was kidnapped by pirates."

"Why are you saying this now?" asked Elizabeth. Why would they tell her now?

Alex was also shocked because this was news to him, and he hadn't been expecting it. He didn't expect Elizabeth's father to be kidnapped by Barbossa.

He thought Barbossa would quietly leave, but he didn't expect him to pull off this trick.

Alex did say to leave Port Royal. But he didn't say anything about kidnapping

Then Elizabeth turned her head towards Alex. Her eyes were filled with sadness. Elizabeth hesitated for a moment as if debating whether to ask Alex for help or not. She knew that it was a lot to ask, but she was desperate for someone to talk to.

"Can I ask you for something?" asked Elizabeth. Deciding to ask for help, she has no choice but to ask Alex for help.

"What?do you want me to do to help your father?" asked Alex as he looked at Elizabeth's helpless expression.

"Yes "

"But I don't know where they went "

"Didn't you say you would make the pirates retreat?"

"I did say that."

"I did make them retreat, but you didn't ask for anything about saving kidnapped people "

"But I didn't expect your father to be kidnapped."

"That Barbossa outsmarted me," said A

"Then you can't help?" asked Elizabeth
