As Zeus was smoking on the cliff, in a different part of Abyss Island

Bonney was sitting in a chair with her legs and arms crossed, Persephone was sitting in front of her with her legs crossed and a tight expression on her face. Her heart was beating really fast, as if she was a child that did something wrong.

It was a funny picture for sure. Their roles had completely reversed as this moment, usually Bonney is the one who is nervous and Persephone is calm but in this situation it was inevitable for Persephone to be calm.

She knew that Bonney was aware of her feelings and she also knew that Bonney was aware that Zeus had never done anything with her, but she couldn't help feeling nervous. The whole situation was wrong from the beginning because Persephone's feeling towards Zeus only grew instead of diminishing over the course of 2 years, while Bonney and Zeus were already together.

The harsh truth was Persephone was in the wrong, it wasn't that her feelings were wrong because they were uncontrollable. It was the fact that she was a third party, even though she never did anything to explicitly destroy Bonney and Zeus' relationship, it was still her intruding in it.

As a woman, Persephone wanted to find love herself as well. Naturally, she could've gone anywhere else, instead of someone who was already taken but she couldn't. Zeus' figure was firmly engraved into her heart since the beginning and she felt that there was something even more, hidden underneath the surface.

It was like a primal feeling for her, something she couldn't change even if she wanted to. As if it was a part of her very being, it wasn't a good thing for her at all. In fact, Persephone was scared. She was confused and nervous about what she saw yesterday and it replayed in her mind countless times since then. She was worried that something would change and she wouldn't be herself. She was scared of losing everything she currently had, but it was a foregone conclusion for her. She tried forgetting about it, but every time she closed her eyes that memory would come back and get just a little bit longer.

Since yesterday, the memory she had, had expanded and got longer, more in-depth. She knew where it was, when it was, who was in it, and it slowly grinded against the next scene almost as if no matter how much she forced it down and refused to dig deeper, it would continue until everything was uncovered.

As these thoughts ran through Persephone's mind, Bonney finally spoke "I know how you feel about him." Persephone tensed up and Bonny continued "Your feelings are something that you cannot control, and I understand that."

Bonney cleared her throat and continued "I don't know what happened to you in your life or what happened to you yesterday.." she paused and sighed before saying "But we're best friends, you can tell me anything. I don't know if I can help you, but I will try my best. I also know that Zeus talks to you more than he does me or even his brother for that matter."

Bonney's face got a bit ugly as she said "I guess he doesn't want to worry any of us, but he doesn't have that problem with you. I can't understand the reason, but I will talk with him as well. As his wife he shouldn't be afraid to talk about his feelings with me either."

She waved and said "Anyway, that's not the point. The reason I wanted to talk to you is because of him." she looked at Persephone in the eyes and continued "Just because I don't say anything doesn't mean I agree with your actions. Both Zeus and I know that you like him, it's blatantly obvious to everyone. I even know that he told you he couldn't but has kept you by his side since then. Obviously you are important to him as well, I don't know how he feels about you but I do know that he doesn't feel the same way about you that he does me."

Persephone froze and Bonney continued heartlessly "If he did, he wouldn't care what I would think and would take you in regardless of my opinion. I believe that I'm right about that. Of course, he would make sure I agreed and accept it eventually but he hasn't done that, so I don't think that he loves you."

Bonney paused and took a deep breath before continuing "Despite that, however, you are almost like a sister to me..." she paused and her face turned mildly annoyed as she said "I want you to know, that I don't like the idea of sharing my man with someone else." Persephone looked down to hide her eyes that were pooling with heavy tears, when Bonney unexpectedly added "BUT! I will not say anything if he makes the decision."

Persephone looked at Bonney incredulously with heavy shock in her eyes. Bonney looked a bit irk'd as she continued "I don't like sharing anything. Especially not him. If it was someone else I would kill them, but I won't say anything about it for you." Bonney put her foot down and said "BUT! Just because I won't say anything doesn't mean I'll like it! I want you to promise me you won't say anything about this conversation to him. Whether he accepts you is his decision and his decision alone."

Persephone wiped her eyes and nodded with a smile, Bonney let out a breath and relaxed her body as she said "Fucking perverted bastard would eat you up immediately if he heard what I just said." Persephone giggled and hugged Bonney tightly before whispering in her ear "Thank you."

Bonney was a bit startled, it was an extremely grateful tone. As if she had saved her life, Bonney had no idea Zeus meant that much to her and felt a little bit better about her decision, but she was also worried. Zeus might be a big pervert but he was extremely loyal to herself, though sometimes he would flirt and act playful around other girls, that was the most he would do.

Bonney knew that was just the way he was and she wasn't too sure Zeus would even take the initiative to accept Persephone himself. While that made her feel happy and warm it also made her worried for Persephone, even with Persephone's personality and love for him, she would never push things beyond their boundaries.

Bonney knew that it was Persephone's care and respect to her that made Persephone reel in her advances. Bonney reckoned that if it was anyone else Persephone would've just annexed the woman and taken Zeus for herself.

Don't be fooled by Persephone's soft attitude towards Zeus and Bonney. To most other people she was a complete ruthless iceberg. Her orders were sharp and deadly, if they weren't carried out to the T, then you could only wait for punishment. Persephone had a natural distinction between subordinate and friend, in actuality if any of Persephone's assassin group saw her all nervous like she was, they would be completely stunned.

Bonney hugged Persephone back and smiled as they separated as she said "Good Luck." Persephone stuck out her tongue and said "Are you just saying that?" Bonney smiled wryly and nodded, Persephone burst out laughing and said "Don't worry, nothing will change. That guy is like a block of wood sometimes."

Bonney giggled and agreed, they continued to talk about.. Icky, sticky, gross, girl stuff filled with cooties, so the scene directly left, so as not to get contaminated with their cooties.

A while later

Zeus was already helping with construction on Abyss Island, when Bonney and Persephone finally appeared. Zeus wiped his forehead to take away the sweat and looked over before smiling brightly.

Bonney and Persephone were dazed looking at him. Zeus wasn't wearing a shirt at the moment.. Due to laundry problems that was his last good black shirt and he wasn't about to get it dirty with sweat and or dust. The jumpsuit wasn't a problem because he had tons, there was even a clothing shop on the island that sold them as well as a shoe store!

As per Bonney's request of course, but Zeus had drawn a myriad of shoes from his memory for them to make and sell. There were tons of different styles and Zeus had even gotten his own special sneaker made.

But that wasn't the point.

The point was Zeus was pretty much half naked on the construction site. His tattoo, scar, and perfect muscles shined in the sun, a thin layer of sweat coating them. Isaac really didn't care who he was and put Zeus to work as if he was a normal employee, Isaac had strict requirements for things he needed done and it was tough work even for Zeus.

Even Crocodile, Tesoro, and Lucci were sweating while working. Isaac didn't give a single fuck if they were big shots of the underworld, to put it bluntly. If they came to work, they were going to work and if they didn't like it they could leave. Seems simple enough but Isaac's requirements were really strenuous, the normal workers were used to it however and joked around with the people from Tartarus while working like it was nothing.

Because of the commotion the towns people came over to see what the fuss was about and at least a dozen women were standing off to the side and staring at Zeus in a daze, as he smiled the women directly fainted.

The citizens all thought that Zeus was familiar but they didn't even think about associating him with the bounty poster. After all, what kind of underworld King would be working a construction site? So his identity was still completely hidden, as for the Cipher Pol agents, after a quick glance at the normal construction site, they looked away deeming it just an expansion of the island. If any of them did see something suspicious, Sugar just turned them to toys and put them to work before killing them.

Zeus had told her that he didn't want to see toys walking around as they would have Dress Rosa citizens coming soon. Nobody would recognize an adult Sugar but they would for sure recognize the toys and they might not be happy with it even if Zeus explained that Sugar worked for him now. So Zeus decided that he didn't want a head ache and told Sugar that she could have toys but only have them work hidden away from the regular citizens.

He was a bit lenient with the rules on Sugar. She was allowed to turn any Cipher Pol agents into toys if she wanted but she needed a reason for regular people, other than that, only pirates who were causing a ruckus and trying to ruin the lives of the people in Abyss City.

There were a strict set of rules that Zeus put into play. If any pirates were disrupting the lives of regular citizens, they were going to be punished. More often than not with death. Some pirates at the beginning didn't believe it and tested the waters only to never be heard from again mere minutes after.

That spread through the pirates that visited and they immediately became honest and only had scuffles with other pirates. Soon enough a sentence was spread among visitors 'Regular people are untouchable on Abyss Island' this fortunately spread out of Abyss Island as well and the overall population became happier. More people started visiting and the sales from the shops and hotels sky rocketed.

The sales in the entertainment district also sky rocketed and Tesoro was, literally, swimming in money.

As the time passed

The construction became more and more complete. It really was amazing, with everyone helping out having devil fruit powers and being naturally strong, the progress flew at an incredible pace.

During the progress Riku and the citizens of Dress Rosa arrived. The citizens had all their belongings and followed their King through the city, startled by the beautiful city. Riku was excited and Viola and Rebecca along with Kyros looked around in amazement.

Some of the citizens of Abyss island saw all the people and the word slowly spread to the entire island.

Riku was walking through the city when a shirtless Zeus appeared in front of him and said "Follow me." Riku was startled and nodded while Viola was drooling. She flashed next to Zeus and grabbed his arm as she said "Do you have a girlfriend Zeusy~"

Zeus almost vomited a mouthful of blood, he looked at Viola and said "You continue to tease me and I'll ravage you in the streets, do you believe it?" Viola trembled and said "Okay~" Zeus was startled and jumped a bit as he said "What?!"

Viola let go and giggled before winking, Zeus rubbed his nose and brought Riku to the already built houses as he said "It's still under construction but these are what we have right now.." Zeus paused and said "I already have most of my people helping out, but the architect is quite the meticulous guy. If something is even a bit different then he will tell you to start over. So far, we have been working for 3 days, and I have to leave in maybe a week and a half. So I'm trying to push it along as fast as I can."

Riku was stunned and said "All this in 3 days?!" Zeus nodded and said "Unfortunately it's not more, but the courtyard is finished. All that's missing is the golden fountain topper." Zeus looked behind Riku and counted the people quickly before saying "Each house is big enough for several families to be a bit tight in, but still comfortable. I estimate within a few more days, there should be enough houses for each family. Abyss Island is around 10 times bigger than Dress Rosa, so fitting all these people won't be a problem."

Lucci flashed next to Zeus and said "Isaac told me to get you." before disappearing. Zeus smiled and said "Maybe yourselves at home and explore the island, the entertainment district is on the far eastern side of the island.." Zeus paused and touched his nose as he said "Although, perhaps it's not a suitable place for children.."

Riku was confused and said "Why?" Zeus coughed and said "Well, the red light district and the entertainment district are in the same place." Riku coughed quickly and Rebecca turned red. Zeus grinned and said "The construction site is further back if you want to watch. I have to go, visit it you have time!" before he disappeared completely.

Riku turned around and said "For a few days you may have to double up but I have heard that the residences are quite spacious. My apologies to you all, but in a few days I guarantee you will all have a home to your own." The citizens smiled and went for the houses, without complaints.

Riku walked off and Rebecca said "Grandpa where are you going?" Riku said "The re- construction site." Rebecca shook her head and said "Grandpa it's the other way." Riku's face heated up and he said "Ah yes! You're right." before spinning on his heels and walking the other way, searching for a detour to the entertainment district.

Kyros looked at Rebecca, who had a proud smile on her face, and sighed. He knew his father-in-law was going to the red light district but he couldn't tell Rebecca that. Viola on the other hand left to the construction site immediately, intent on seeing those perfect muscles again.

Back to the present

Zeus was standing in the courtyard with his shirt on, much to the dismay of the countless women who came to the construction site every day to watch him work. Isaac was holding a giant cloth and Zeus was helping him put it onto the top of the fountain.

Isaac put it on top and laid down on the cloud, going under the cloth tarp to make sure everything worked before coming back out and saying "Lift me!" Zeus controlled the cloud to lift him to the top of the tarp and Isaac grinned as he grabbed the top of the tarp and said "The courtyard is finally complete!" as he pulled the tarp off.

The tarp was gone and what replaced it was a golden Dragon and Phoenix sculpture. The Dragon and Phoenix were circling around each other, like lovers, and in the middle of both of them was a spout of water creating a water curtain that surrounded the Dragon and Phoenix before flowing down to the second layer and continuing down all the way to the bottom.

The golden sculpture sparkled under the sun and water bubble and looked as if the two could almost come to life and fly away into the night.

The construction was not finished yet but Zeus had to leave so he wanted to see the fountain finished before he left. Needless to say, he was not disappointed. The fountain was made of white marble and had light dials inside so that it would light up at night.

The surrounding citizens were enchanted by the sight, the courtyard was easily the most beautiful site on the entire island. That was before the statue was even placed! Now it was almost a fairyland of sorts.

Zeus felt that a couple of his immortal dream fairies would live happily here.

All in all, the construction was back under way after a little break to place the sculpture. Zeus sat on the edge of the fountain, there was a flat bench like ring around the fountain so people could sit on it. The actual courtyard didn't have a name as of right now, but after a while people started calling it The Immortal Lovers Courtyard.

But that was later. Currently, Zeus was waiting for Persephone and Bonney to arrive so that they could leave.

After a while Persephone and Bonney finally arrived and Zeus smiled brightly. Bonney and Persephone smiled and turned into animals before sitting on his shoulders. Zeus noticed Bonney was a bit pale and said "Honey, are you okay? You look a bit pale."

Bonney smiled sweetly and said "I'm perfect!" Zeus smiled and nodded before taking off into the skies and flying towards his lightning marks, that had all gathered up, except for one.

Shabang! Another one for the books! I'm gonna take a break for a bit maybe go out who knows. Maybe another chap today maybe not. I have something planned for Persephone don't worry about it.
