52 Germa

Zeus flew through the air humming to himself, in a good mood. Construction was going great, and would be finished before the excepted date by a whole month! Zeus wasn't lounging around the whole time and really did work hard, he might be the big boss but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about the city. If he didn't then he wouldn't even invite Riku and the rest, the city and Island might be a front but it was still a complete city.

He thought to himself, maybe it should be called a Kingdom now? He didn't know the process for Royalty establishing a Kingdom but he assumed Dress Rosa was abandoned and Abyss Island was changed to a kingdom.

He still had his worries, though. He told Riku even though it was his Kingdom now, he was forbidden from establishing a marine outpost and dealing with the government. The last thing he needed was a bunch of rats crawling around trying to sniff out every secret of Abyss Island.

It was a good thing he took Sugar with him, not only were the agents disappearing and being forgotten but the grunt work was being completed faster. Speaking of Sugar, she was slowly becoming a monster. Soru and Geppo were simply the icing on the cake for her abilities and since he warned her about her mentality stopping after she took off the bracelet, she started using it more.

She almost always had it on, except when she was making toys. Zeus plan for her was to wear the bracelet and be able to fight before turning the unconscious enemies into toys and putting the bracelet back on.

Another thing that Zeus noticed was that Sugar seemed extremely attached to himself. She would listen to everything he said to the T. It wasn't love or anything, but more like a familial relationship? He didn't know, but more than once she accidentally called him brother. He didn't really care, she was quite cute, her personality changed to a sweet and fluffy girl since he changed her age.

Zeus had a strange thought, maybe she changed because her chest wasn't flat anymore? He nodded as if enlightened and thought 'That's definitely it' Bonney and Persephone suddenly felt an inexplicable urge to smack Zeus.

A while later

Zeus saw Zunesha and said "Hold on tight." Bonney and Persephone sighed and said "Why can't you just be normal.." Zeus chuckled and ignored them as he transformed into a massive dragon before flying over Zunesha, towards his lightning marks.

While he was flying he heard a voice saying "Friend or foe?" Zeus was startled and looked at Zunesha incredulously as he said "Friend." Zunesha went silent and ignored Zeus, continuing his endless travel throughout the seas.

Zeus was amazed and said "Did you two hear that?" Bonney and Persephone were confused and said "Hear what?" Zeus was startled and said "Nothing, nevermind." before continuing down.

Zeus saw the crew along with a bunch of minks and the samurai. He roared into the sky before diving down and reverting in the midst of a bunch of lightning. Startling the minks, who immediately got battle ready after seeing a giant dragon.

Zeus revealed himself in his usual clothes and hat and grinned at the crew as he said "Yo." the crew that was left on Zou, were stunned. The minks, who were battle ready, were stunned. Law, was stunned. Zunesha, was stunned. The author, was stunned.

Zeus was immediately tackled to the ground by Nami, Chopper, and Brook! Zesu chuckled and said "Alright. Yes, I'm alive. Yes, I'm handsome." he sighed and said mirthlessly "It's a blessing and a curse.." and with that the tension was cut with a knife and Chopper and Brook got off Zeus.

Robin walked over and said "Bonney, Persephone.. You might want to come over here for a moment.." Bonney and Persephone were confused but hopped over anyway, to see Nami glaring at Zeus.

Her hair fluttered behind her and half of her arms turned pitch black, her whole body exploded with flames and the world started to tremble as rocks floated around her as she said "So you were alive huh?" her tone cold as ice and as sinister as could be.

Zeus started to sweat as he said "No! Actually, I just came back from the dead! Like Brook! But with organs! Shishishi." Nami cracked her knuckles and Zeus said quickly "Really quick! How did the skeleton know it would rain?!"

Zeus waited a second before saying "He could feel it in his bones, but he was so lonely.." The crew felt black lines in their foreheads and Zeus bit his lips and continued "Because he had no body!" Zeus burst out laughing at his own joke and Nami pummeled him into the ground.

The only other person laughing was Brook, who had already fallen over at the first punch line and started crying laughing at the second. Bonney and Persephone felt their mouths twitch and Franky sighed "Rest in peace Zeus."

Inuarashi said "Zeus?" before taking out a newspaper and bounty and saying "This Zeus?! Woof!" Nekomamushi looked at the papers and said "It does look like him-Nyan!"

Luffy ignored Zeus, who was still getting pummeled by Nami and said with a big smile "Yup! That's my brother! You can tell the difference by the scar under our eyes!" the crew sweat dropped and Chopper said "How did you get those?"

Luffy said "We did it ourselves!" the crew nearly fell down at his words.

A while later

Zeus was sitting with his arms crossed and two black eyes with a series of bumps lifting his hat above his head. Zeus grumbled "Who hits a handsome man in his face?" Bonney patted his cheek and said softly "I think it makes you look manly!" Zeus perked up and said "Really?!" Bonney nodded and Persephone said "Yeah!"

Zeus smiling happily and Persephone and Bonney looked at each other communicating with their eyes. Bonney said "It's almost too easy!" Persephone said "He really believes that?" Bonney flashed a sly smile and said "He'll believe anything if you compliment him." Persephone nodded in understanding.

All of this happened silently and Zeus was unaware.

He listened in and found out that they were already separating to go get Sanji back. Robin turned to Zeus and said "You knew?" Zeus flashed with lightning and returned to normal as he said "Of course. You think my information network is just for show? I also knew Sanji was a Vinsmoke a long time ago."

Zeus paused and said "They're actually not as bad as the little kitty cat will have you believe. Sanji's sister is actually very nice." Bonney and Persephone's eyes shot open and they glared at Zeus, who sighed and said "Nice person. The rest of his family, not so much. This is a good opportunity for me, I can easily steal their research notes and create my own technological suits to sell..."

Zeus rubbed his chin and Nami chopped him in the head and said "You've been stealing?!" she paused and hit him again "Without me!?" Zeus tilted his head and dodged the chop as he said "He's marrying Charlotte Pudding, one of the last remaining members of the Three-eyed clan. She's also that fat old bitch's daughter but who cares about Big Mom anyway, she's annoying."

Zeus expression turned to disgust and Robin said "Three-eyed clan?" Luffy's face turned ugly and he said "She's not strong?" Zeus sneered and said "Merely a bigger ant." he patted the ground and said "Zunesha can one shot her, do you believe it?"

Persephone flinched at the end of his sentence before returning to normal.

Luffy sighed and Zeus chuckled "Though that's compared to Zunesha. For us, she's a tough enemy. I call dibs." Luffy lifted his arms up before realizing and shouting "That's not fair!" Zeus sneered and said "What are you going to do about it rubber boy?" Luffy lunged at Zeus and said "YOU!"

The two started a dustbrawl, Bonney and Persephone jumped out and jumped on Robin's shoulders. Robin smiled slightly and watched.

The dust cleared and revealed 3 figures. Luffy, Zeus, and Zoro.

Zoro was confused and looked around before going back to where he was sitting.

Zeus flashed a victorious grin and Lufy crossed his arms and grumbled.

Zeus coughed and said "Pudding has 3 eyes, one of them is always covered by her bangs. She's self conscious about it, because she was bullied for it. For a daughter of a Yonko, you'd expect her to have a firmer will but whatever. She has a memo-memo fruit, she can pull out memories and cut out portions with a pair of scissors before putting them back, she also has a split personality that is extremely sadistic."

Robin gasped and said "That's quite the information network you have there." Zeus grinned and said "Yeah, wanna join?" Luffy said "Hey! She's my mystery rock person!" Robin just smiled and Zeus sighed.

Kin'emon said "Well we have to go to Wano!" Zeus looked at him and gave Kanjuro a deep look, startling Kanjuro. Zeus gave him a mysterious grin but said nothing. Kanjuro was normal on the outside but panicking on the inside, Zeus chuckled as the crew split up going their separate ways.

Zeus followed the Sanji retrieval team to Whole Cake island and after asking Nami how long it would take and getting 'A week at most' he decided to travel with them. He could go find Sanji but it was more fun this way.

Zeus was sitting on the Sunny and enjoying the sun, when a little lion appeared in front of him. Zeus cracked open one eye and said "Aiyo little turtle cat, why are you blocking my view?" Pekoms said "My name is Pekoms! You are the one Mama invited to the tea party wedding right?"

Zeus lit a cigarette and sat up as he said "Yeah. You got a problem with that?" he took a drag as he looked at Pekoms with a heavy look, going into his big boss mode. Pekoms felt extreme danger looking at Zeus now, but still said "Then be careful. Mama wants to threaten you."

The heavy aura disappeared and Zeus chuckled as he pat Pekoms' head and said "No worries! That fat bitch can threaten all she wants! I died once before, I'm not scared of dying again! Shishishishi!"

For almost everyone on the ship Zeus was talking about when he was announced dead by the government. But for Persephone it was a whole different meaning, her pupils shrank and she looked at Zeus incredulously almost not believing him. Once, twice, maybe its a coincidence, but three times? Its a fact.

Persephone was startled and wanted to know what role she played in all this. Why was she remembering memories that aren't hers? Why was there a Zeus in them? Who was she? Who was Zeus?

She naturally knew the answers to her questions were hidden within herself, but she didn't want to try digging. She was still scared, Zeus had even asked her what was wrong before but she lied saying that she just wasn't feeling well. After answering a series of health questions and seeing a doctor, Zeus finally relented. It made her feel warm that he cared so much about herself but it also gave her a sense of crisis.

If she told him the truth would he freak out? If there was no way for her to know for sure she would never tell him. She looked over at Bonney, she was keeping a secret from him too. What was the difference?

What Persephone forgot was that, her memories weren't controllable and they would eventually surface completely one day. With or without her wanting them to or not.

The days passed

Zeus was the only one eating a full meal, after Luffy made his 'everything in the fridge' soup. They were out of food completely, Zeus naturally had his own food and cooked for Bonney, Persephone had some too which almost led to a mutiny. The crew demanded food and Zeus refused to cook for them.

Until Luffy ate a poisonous fish and collapsed. Zeus stood over him and chuckled "Idiot. What are you eating fish raw for?" Nami shouted "This is your fault!" Zeus shrugged and said "Someone will come to fix it." Nami was confused and there was a thump on the deck.

She looked over and saw a woman with pink hair and a single visible eye with a curly eyebrow. Zeus smiled and said nothing, even when Luffy got poisoned he looked into the future and saw that Reiju would save him. Naturally, Zeus wouldn't let Luffy eat the poisonous fish if he didn't know that Reiju would save him.

Reiju held Luffy's head and Zeus clicked his tongue as she kissed him and sucked the poison out of his body. Nami's eyes were wide open even Bonney and Persephone's eyes were wide open. Zeus sighed and said "Wait until the cook hears about this." Nami chuckled and said "He would be jealous."

Zeus made a funny face and said "Uhh, little vixen?" Nami looked over and Zeus said with a smile "If Sanji is into incest, he definitely would be." Nami looked at Reiju and said "That's Sanji's sister?!" Zeus chuckled and nodded as he looked at Luffy and said "This kid has a thing with princesses. I just can't believe it."

Nami said "Princesses?" Zeus nodded and said "Vivi, Rebecca, and Reiju. Rebecca is the princess of Dress Rosa.. well not anymore anyway, and Reiju is the woman right in front of you, who is listening to me secretly while still kissing my brother. She's the princess of the Germa Kingdom, though her brothers.."

As if on cue a voice was heard "Reiju what the fuck are you doing over there?!"

Zeus continued with a smile "Are quite annoying.." he looked over at the green haired man and added surprisingly "And weak?!" Nami rolled her eyes and Reiju finally separated from Luffy, who was already awake and taking deep breaths of air, finally being allowed to breathe.

Zeus chuckled and said "Good morning Luffy, a princess woke you up with a kiss. Now you have to take responsibility and marry her." Reiju and Luffy were stunned and Luffy said "Marry her?!" Zeus nodded with a smile "You can also let her work for me." Zeus revealed his fox tail and grinned slyly.

Reiju flashed a wry smile and Luffy said "I don't think she can." Zeus' voice turned ice cold and he said "Then you can only kill her." Reiju was startled, seems like she stepped on a landmine today. Bonney pecked at Zeus' neck angrily.

Zeus rubbed his neck and said "Okay, fine! I was kidding relax! Hancock wouldn't allow it anyway." Zeus bent over and held Reiju's chin as he looked around at her body before saying "I still can't figure out these fucking suits." before letting go and turning around, going to the kitchen, annoyed.

He really did want Reiju for his scientist department. He already had Ratchet, working on drugs and surprisingly Ratchet took a liking to the research notes from the Smile factory. Ratchet has been working day and night trying to figure them out, countless experiments, even human ones! The humans were naturally taken from the spies that were lurking around.

Ratchet had been experimenting with Smiles for a while now and last time Zeus checked, he almost had a breakthrough but was missing just one key point. It had to be said, Zeus hit the jackpot on Ratchet, that guy worked day and night to improve the smile fruits and with the help of the Tonttatans he was making excellent progress.

The Tonttatans moved along with the Dress Rosa citizens and Zeus gave them their own mini-village. He also employed some of them to work in the lab with Ratchet, they were paid and given benefits just like normal employees, not enslaved like with Doflamingo. They were really good workers and they were known as the fairies by the people of Abyss Island, except this time they weren't thieves.

Zeus thought about adding Reiju to his kidnap list he had for Whole Cake Island. He decided that he would ask her next time he saw her, then he would think about kidnapping her or not. If Judge had a problem they could 'talk' it out. He asked Bonney and Persephone as he cooked but they gave him a glare and said "No more women."

Zeus was helpless, it wasn't his fault that all the good people were women! Reiju was extremely smart and the other one just had an amazing fruit. He grumbled something about 'Can't catch a break' and continued to cook.

A while later

The rest of the crew appeared at the table ready for food. Zeus walked out and froze as he saw them there before grumbling and turning around to go back to the kitchen saying something about 'Should've got another cook' as he left.
