"Why would you do that?" I asked Stussy.
"I learned some Advanced Observation haki a while back. So I can tell the range of emotions for a person, to an extent, but you're emotions are always calm," Stussy noted.
"What does that have to do with testing Ken's loyalty? He's always been loyal to the crew, at least that's what I think," I commented.
"Well, your emotions tell me otherwise. I can tell you have some form of suspicion towards him, so what do you want to do with him?" Stussy concluded.
I remained quiet as I continued watching the ship sail on. We weren't too far out from Jaya Island, and thanks to the wind, we were going to get there way sooner than anticipated according to Brok and Kane. Ken was busy co-ordinating between the crews and ensuring that the ship remained at the pace that it was in.
We had no couch to lounge on, so I had to make myself content by sitting on a barrel of liquor that we had packed before leaving Water 7. It was during our sailing that we had gotten a newspaper from the World Economic Newspaper.
There wasn't much to note from it, the world seemed to be getting more and more into turmoil. The Bigmom pirates and Golden Lion Pirates were still fighting, Kaido had once again raided another Marine base. Hell, there were some more mentions of Solitary Red moving from North Blue, the sea in which he had dissapeared to a while back.
Things were heating up, but it wasn't anything too major that would have made me have to worry about Whitebeard and the crew. We were going to continue on with our journey, and hopefully, have the ship ready soon. I wasn't sure how long it took them to make the Moby Dick, but I hope it didn't take us so long that I would need to head back to the New World without it.
Soon, we could see the outline of Jaya Island on the horizon. According to one of the crewmates, it was a blooming pirate island that had recently just started up. The crewmember didn't have any information concerning who sponsered the rise of the island, but I had a feeling that I knew who it was.
"So, when we get to the island, where are we going to get information about Skypiea?" Stussy inquired curiously.
She had gotten plenty of information about what we were supposed to be getting, but, she never knew exactly how we were going to go about it.
"Well, just leave that to me," I reassured her.
"Alright~" Stussy replied smiling.
We soon docked on the island, and I could already tell that this island was a pirate island. There were numerous pirates looking at us with eye-filled greed as we set the plank down. The crew walked down first because I wanted to check to see if I had ran out of cigarettes. However, Stussy and Ken decided to take the oppurtunity to head down before I did.
It was then I immediately started hearing sounds of battle coming from outside the ship. I ignored it as I slowly closed the cabinet for my cigarettes. There were enough for me to last through Skypiea, but I would need to restock as soon as we got back to Water 7.
Stepping out of the ship, I found my crew had subjugated quite the number of pirates. Some were dead, others were half-dead and unconcious, while others were slightly injured but concious.
"The fuck happened here?" I asked casually.
"They wanted to have a good time with me, so I thought about inviting the whole crew with me as well," Stussy replied, she had a smudge of blood on her cheek. That didn't stop her from licking it off, and the rest of the crew were either wiping the blood off their weapons, or just standing by and watching the conversation unfold.
"You bastards! Do you know who we work for?!" One of them shouted angrily.
"Do you know who we are?" Ken snapped back at him, looking down on the lying man.
The man on the ground slowly looked around, he didn't seem fazed by our appearance.
"I know who you are! You're Whitebeard's dogs, aren't you?! The boss who we work for will soon put that bastard in his place!!!" Another man exclaimed, garnering all the attention of the crew.
"You must know, don't you? The Golden Lion and the Big Mom Pirates are teaming up to take down you bastards, and additional forces are already on the way to help! You want to know who's supplying the weapons? The Donquixote Family!! They have already made ties to the New World, soon, all you motherfuckers are going to be lying on our feet, dead!" Another man declared.
Something about what he said had set me off, it wasn't his words....but it was something else. It was as if his voice was laced was something else. I made sure to keep this in the back of my mind for the meantime. However, upon hearing this, my bloodlust unconciously spread throughout the entire island. It wasn't potent enough to knock them uncouncious, but it sure as hell made them stop breathing. Matter of fact, it made everyone stop breathing.
I slowly walked up to the arrogant bastards who were kicking up a fuss. I took a lighter before lighting another cigarette, and took a long draft out of it.
"A war?" I chuckled as I looked down on this man, "Good."
"I think people misunderstand my indifference as a sign of fear. I don't know what you all have heard about me....but all of you just don't know how much I hold back whenever I face worms like you." I smiled as I increased the potency of my bloodlust, at this point, I had also infused Conqurer's haki as well. Cracking the very ground that I stepped on.
"Big Mom and Shiki? Good, I want them to, maybe they'll pose a better fight compared to those five morons up there," I commented blankly, "I don't really care who wants to join that little alliance, because they will all fall one way or another. Be it the Old man, be it me."
With that, I raised my foot and crushed this man's head in. His head splattering like a fly getting crushed by a fly swatter. The entire island was quiet during my little monologue, but I didn't mind, it was essential to let this people know every once in a while who they were talking to.
I never released the pressure, and Stussy was doing her damnest to fight it, and Ken was already beginning to lose conciousness.
"By the time I come back, I want you all to break free from my bloodlust," I instructed, "If you can do that, I won't have to put y'all through some personal training."
I wasn't given a reply, but I didn't really care. I slowly walked towards a newly established saloon. The people within were on their knees, gasping for air. Additionally, so was the owner of the saloon, he was choking on the air as well; and this feeling only got worse the closer I got to him.
I quietly eased the pressure on him so he could breathe better. I gave him some time so that he could regain his bearings. Eventually, he managed to calm himself down, and I managed to get him to finally pay attention to me.
"Tell me, where can I find info on a Knock-Up Stream?"
I just came out from Watching Bad Boys, I realized that I've been making them a little too soft for my liking.
Let me know what y'all think!!1
Love y'all!!!
