"Hah-hah. Are you out of your mind?! Do you know who's island this is under?!" The bartender exclaimed angrily.
I looked at the man before restoring the additional pressure that I had let off of him.
"Just answer the fucking question,"
*Gasp* "F-Fine! There were rumors earlier coming from one of the pirates about a huge geyser destroying one of his friends ships!" The bartender finally exclaimed.
"Where is he?"
"He-he went out, something about a blonde-haired beauty just landed on the island, and he wanted to see if he could have a shot at her," the bartender confessed.
I stood up, and walked back out to where I had left them.
[ Stussy POV ]
Jaya Island
The moment that bastard started yammering on about what the Golden Lion and Big Mom were going to do, I wanted to tear his throat out.
I could already feel Boris' rage slowly start to burst out of him as that piece of shit kept talking.
Bloodlust was already leaking bits and pieces from him, and I couldn't tell whether or not he knew. However, it immediately broke out of him like a dam, completely encompassing the entire island and making anyone who was within the island freeze instantly.
The pressure immediately made it almost impossible to breathe, and it took quite a bit of will power to catch my breathe again. However, that wasn't all, I used my Observation haki to check on Boris. On the outside, he looked like his normal self when he was slightly mad. However, something terrible was happening deep within him, a maddening turbulance of emotion swayed deep within him. Almost as if there was a beast deep inside of him, but that wasn't all.
Slowly, yet surely, there was something that was forming outside of him while he spread out his bloodlust. I don't know whether the others couldn't see it because I was using Observation haki, but a silhouette of a three headed dragon slowly began to show itself from the outside. It was terrifying, but I had to remain calm. At most, I could tell that he was probably slightly annoyed by what the man said.
'He's probably instilling fear within the rest of the pirates to deterr them from going out of their way to attack us,'
He soon left after telling us to break free from his bloodlust. He even went as far as to threaten us with Spartan training, I was going to have to give him a stern talking to later about that. However, now wasn't the time to argue with him, I could feel that if I said anything stupid. Trouble would only follow after.
I guess a monster is still a monster, even a sleeping one.
I had just managed to break free from his bloodlust when he had returned. His expressionless face slowly scanned the area as he found the rest of the crew immobile, even though he had just threatened them with spartan training.
"What, you guys still frozen?" Boris replied aloofly.
"I managed to break out," I smiled as I slowly approached him.
Every step I took was more suffocating than the last.
'Just how much did these morons manage to piss him off?'
"Could you turn down your bloodlust? You're making it hard for me to approach you," I asked kindly.
Boris looked at me quietly as I approached him.
"There is someone who managed to find a Knock-Up Stream here, fess up, and I'll let you guys free," Boris declared.
I continued to look at the suffocating crowd in anticipation. They were all looking at Boris with expressions of hatred as they tried to catch their breath.
"Oh? Still stubborn.....fine," Boris commented. Boris was about to reach for the giant axe on his back, but I stopped him.
"Wait,"
"What?" Boris muttered.
"I used to be a CP0 agent, remember? Let me handle the interrigation," I smiled gently at him.
Boris stared at me for a while before lowering his arm. His bloodlust seemed to amplify the more time passed. I needed to finish this fast if the entire island was going to live to see the next day.
I immediately started looking at the rest of the crew. The first thing that I wanted to note out of the group was fear. Although the group looked at Boris with hatred, there was a common underlying fear that I could sense from all of them. It was obvious that they hadn't thought of much of him.
I also found it quite strange how they weren't already afraid of him from the get-go. If one really thought about it, there was multiple news addressing Boris' feats and the potential danger he stood to pose. So it didn't make any sense for them to be so emboldened to say stuff like that to him.
Eventually, I managed to find a suspicous individual that was trembling while looking at Boris. His face was contorted with rage, but his eyes had the evidence of fear.
"Found you~"
"Wh-What the hell do you want?!" The man chocked as he tried to move away from me.
I promptly grabbed the man by the throat and took him to where Boris was, and threw him to his feet.
"How'd you know?" Boris asked.
"It's all in the eyes, really,"
Boris immediately released his bloodlust, making everyone make a collective gasp for air as they tried to regain their bearings. I smiled as I saw some pirates who were trying to hit on me hurl buckets.
Boris grabbed the man by the hair before lifting him up, the man coughed as he took deep breathes to calm himself down.
"Where'd you see the knock up stream?" he asked.
"Fuck. You," The man responded.
Ken, who had immediately managed to catch his breath, immediately ran towards us.
"Commander! Let me handle him, I'll make sure he talks before the end of the hour," Ken declared, it seemed that he was desparate to avoid Boris' ire again.
Boris let go of the man before walking back to the ship, but someone else seemed to want to stop him.
"Interesting, so this is the Storm Dragon of the Whitebeard Pirates."
Boris froze and turned around to face the man. The voice was behind me so I couldn't immediately detect the identity. However, judging from Boris' expression, I could tell that it wasn't a friend of ours who was behind me.
"From the bloodlust that I felt for a while, I can tell that you're quite strong. Care to spar with me?" The voice asked politely.
"You're the one..." Boris muttered quietly. He walked slowly towards me, and I could see his eyes full of blood-lust.
"Indeed, I may have laced one of the men with a bit of my power. It has the effect of amplifying emotions, if only a tad bit," The voice responded calmly.
"I see, that explains a lot," Boris responded.
There was a tense silence before he immediately dissapeared from where he was standing.
I couldn't move because something was restraining my movements. However, that bond immediately released and I immediately turned around to find Boris' axe clashing with a Haki-clad umbrella.
The shockwaves of the impact immediately spread from the source, sending all of us back a bit as they collided; and the man colliding with Boris smiled malicously as he looked at Boris, he was quite familiar.
Because that man was none other than Solitary Red, Patrick Redfield.
