Chapter 8: oh my

(I'm going to skip the whole legal stuff part since I don't know how it works, let alone how to make it work in this story, so take it as there were vampires in high places and Carlisle asked their permission to bring him into citizenship.)

'This is annoying'

That's what I thought as I was accompanying Alice during some shopping, right, that little vampire's name is Alice, she is perhaps, the nicest vampire of everyone in that house except Esme and Carlisle.

For about 3 weeks I have spent time with Alice with her teaching me human history, science, and math, although thanks to the seal I can learn a little faster, I am still behind what I am supposed to be at the age I will appear to be in High school.

They have already explained to me what the school is and I have also learned it with the history, it excites me to know that they can have access to knowledge that in my time seemed incredible, even for me that at some point I was an aristocrat, I had not had the level of education that there is in these high schools.

About my relationship with the other vampires in the house, it is quite neutral, except for Rosalie, she seems to hate me, although I understand it, they have already told me their story and I really want to apologize, but it is still uncomfortable.

In these 3 weeks, besides studying, and learning about the current customs, obviously I have trained, thanks to the seal I can stay awake at night and continue with the training, although at some point I must rest.

About the sunlight in the seal, for some reason I absorb much less solar energy than in the past, investigating it seems to be because of what they call ozone layer, although it worries me, it does not affect me too much, since with the energy absorbed I could fight for a few days in a row.

I have also experimented with the energy of the seal, I have discovered something they call photosynthesis, I have experimented with it, knowing that plants use solar energy to create their food, I have absorbed the energy they use, although if I do it too much they will die quickly, I have also tried to reabsorb the energy I use to strengthen my body, because every time I do it a lot of energy escapes to the surroundings causing that glow that occurs when I strengthen my body and I have managed to reduce the expenditure.

Apparently next week will be the day I go to school, it seems that another human will enter the same day as me, maybe it will be interesting.

I have not been much in contact with humanity, the first contact I had was just today, while accompanying Alice shopping and conversing with some people.

I have noticed that humanity has become physically weak, at least most of them, there are still some that due to contemporary training and food have surpassed some of my companions, unfortunately some of them are quite arrogant, but I know it is their nature so I will leave them alone as long as they do not harm anyone.

Although this weakness they seem to compensate for with their weapons and fighting styles. I have trained what they call boxing since as long as I don't have my weapon I can only use my fists. About their weapons, although I find them interesting and highly useful against other humans, the truth is that they are completely useless against a vampire, the noise they cause, along with the limited speed compared to a vampire makes them useless.
