Chapter 9:
Finally the day has come, I'm going to high school, and I'll be able to make some allies and learn more about humanity.
Another piece of information is that a few days ago Alice had, what the others call, her "Visions", she seems to be able to see fragments of the future and so the Cullens manage to avoid some tragedies. Apparently the vision of that day was that Edward would meet his partner and singer today, who apparently is human (for those who don't know what a singer is, it is a human that for a specific vampire has a special smell, for this vampire it will be a real feast).
Although I want to avoid it, I know that immortality is something that every human somehow always longs for, and, besides, being a couple, if I want to separate them, it will only be worse.
But I swear, by my duty, that if Edward the force, he will die. Just because they are a couple I won't put up with him committing something of that nature.
About crimes, in this time there is an organization called "policemen", they are like the guards of my time, but somewhat limited and with the weapons of this time.
Well, while I was thinking this, we were on our way to school, Edward was going to take me in his car, I'm still not used to these things.
I really prefer a horse or running, but it seems like we are pretending I am a relative of the Cullens. Although Carlisle was considerate and let me keep using my last name as an aristocrat.
Edward finally parked, haaaa..., it really is tiring to ride in that thing.
As I got off I felt quite a few stares focus on me, as Edward and the other Cullens looked at Edward's partner.
As I followed the stare, I saw her.
'I wish you luck girl'
I followed the Cullens inside the School and separated from them to go sign up my ticket and get the schedule.
Once I got to the address, I met Edward's partner, as I walked past her I decided to leave a small part of my solar energy on her, the energy will act as a shield the moment she is attacked and she will disperse, at that moment she will know if something happened to her.
Once I got the schedule, I realized that I would be sharing classes with Alice, well, I have someone to talk to.
Well... now how am I supposed to know where the classroom is?
After wandering around pointlessly, a girl approached me to ask what I was looking for.
"Oh, thank you very much for your help, I'm looking for room XX" (no idea of the numbers, I need help).
"If you want I can accompany you, it's on my way, by the way, my name is Jessica, what's yours?"
"Again thank you very much, nice to meet you Jessica, name is Solís"
"Likewise Solis."
After talking for a while, I arrived at my classroom.
"This is it Solis"
"Thank you so much for guiding me, Jessica"
"You seem to like to say thank you, by the way, would you like to sit with me and my friends in the dining room?"
"Ehm, I would like to, but I already have a commitment to keep, I'm sorry."
"Oh, that's okay, no problem."
After dismissing her, I walk into the classroom, and hand the permission slip to the teacher, who tells me to sit with Alice and Jasper. (Let it not be noted that I only made him sit with them, just because I didn't want to make a greeting dialogue with a probably irrelevant OC).
During lunch time I just followed Alice to the dining room, when we walked in I could hear a person I identified as Jessica, I managed to hear how she says Alice is weird and Jasper seems to be suffering every second.
I'm surprised they don't launch into attacking and murdering everyone in this room for that comment, after all even I got a little irritated when she called Alice "weird".
After we all sat down, I could feel some people look at me in surprise, it must be because I'm with the Cullens, apparently they're pretty lonely in here.
'I can't imagine how lonely Edward is, considering he already seems lonely as it is.'
As I ate and unconsciously thought that it didn't compare to Esme's food, I could tell how Edward's partner was focusing their eyes on him, it seems the pairing has already taken effect.
