Chapter 27 — Space Battle.

The Subjugation Team were busily fighting against the Gauna. They weren't having it easy nor too difficult, the Guardian Knight proved to help them greatly against the Gauna Guardian.

The number of the Gauna Guardian already reduced by 17 by smartly making use of Seii's strategy known as Higgs Interference Explosion to target the Higgs Particle Storage of the Gauna, stripping them off their placenta.

The new Anti-Gauna weapon system and the Guardian Knight itself also helped them to greatly reduce the numbers without suffering any casualties, only damaged units that were forcefully commanded to withdraw.

The moment Rokurome's new Sword Cannon was revealed, they were quickly stunned seeing the lethality behind it. The desire to also wield the Sword Cannon filled their heart.

"Jason, that Sword Cannon of yours is so powerful...." Akai connected to Jason's channel, praising the weapon with twinkling eyes full of amazement.

"I know," Jason merely smiled before requesting for something. "Can you cover me from the behind? It will only be for a moment."

"Sure," Akai agreed without any hesitation, not even needing to ask the reason.

Rokurome rushed forward while the sword drooped behind. It quickly reached a place with several Gauna fighting some squads.

Swiish!!

Rokurome made a sneak attack, the sword silently piercing the chest of a nearby Gauna, its True Body also getting destroyed.

Jason couldn't absorb the cores by killing it from a distance. The absorption required him to directly absorb the core by using Rokurome as the medium, making him prefer close-combat much more.

It didn't provide him that much problem.

After using the Virtual Training Room for a long time now, Jason realized that he can also use the martial arts he learned through Rokurome.

This included the sword art which he was more proficient in terms of mastery. He had already mastered the basics firmly as well as some of the various Killing Techniques.

A Gauna Guardian soon spotted Rokurome, quickly charging toward it. It swung its fleshy arm down, a gigantic reddish sword falling from above.

Rokurome immediately blocked it with its own sword, but Jason saw another Gauna targeting him from behind on the radar.

It was charging to shoot its own Shoulder Mounted Cannon toward Rokurome.

An immense power surged from within Rokurome's arms, the Strand Type Silver Thread Tissue warming up.

The Gauna swung its sword toward Rokurome again, but Rokurome clashed with its own sword, causing the Gauna to be thrown back.

Rokurome then revolved its entire body around by also using the various thrusters to gather powerful momentum, Its greatsword soon splitting the Gauna Guardian into half along with its True Body.

A perfect counterattack!

The Gauna disintegrated into pinkish bubbles...

Jason then saw the Gauna behind was almost done charging its cannon.

"Don't worry, I got your back!" Akai reassured him before shooting his own Higgs Cannon(Head) toward the Gauna, immediately splitting its placenta.

He finishes it off by firing his energy rifle toward the True Body.

"Thanks," Jason smiled, but then saw another two Gauna Guardians approaching him on the radar.

Rokurome flew toward them first, leaving behind blue particles on its path.

Its greatsword immediately slashed toward the first Gauna.

Clang

The Gauna blocked the sword, a clear metallic sound ringing out, its body trembling unceasingly under the tremendous strength of Rokurome.

Rokurome was about to put more strength, but Jason saw the second Gauna appearing on his side.

He quickly decided to use the crimson coat to avoid suffering damages.

The second Gauna couldn't break the metallic coat even with all of its strength, stopping it from moving any further.

The first Gauna started to condense a Higgs Cannon from its head, but the two ruby eyes of Rokurome also lit up intensely in return.

[ Anti-Gauna: Laser Vision. ]

Rokurome's attack charged much faster than the Gauna, quickly releasing two rays of intense beam from within its demonic eyes, causing the Gauna's head to explode into pieces after its cannon's charging process was also interfered.

This was the Higgs Interference Explosion.

The shoulder thrusters activated explosively from behind, the greatsword piercing the Gauna's chest instantly.

Rokurome threw the second Gauna away from the crimson coat, its greatsword moving extremely fast again and again, the shoulder thrusters also activating and stopping repeatedly.

The sword stabbed all of the Gauna's vital points, each strike increasing with strength and growing fiercer.

"Bye," Jason whispered toward the now dismembered Gauna Guardian, the sword stabbing its True Body deeply.

He was about to continue, but then saw something good.

[ Sword Cannon's Cooldown is Over. ]

Jason's lip curled upward after seeing those words on the screen. The improved computer system indeed made it easy for the pilots. It was now easy to get informed about the minor things while fighting.

He then started to scan the nearby squad around his location.

And he only managed to find one squad around his current location.

"Jason over to Kunato Squad, provide me with cover while I prepare to charge the Sword Cannon again," Jason made an open channel toward all of them.

"""Roger!"""

All members of the Kunato Squad immediately replied. Their units flew around Rokurome, seeing it already charging the Sword Cannon without a time to waste.

Jason wanted some support because he knew it wouldn't be easy this time.

Several Gauna quickly started to head toward them after feeling Rokurome preparing to launch that terrifying attack from earlier.

"Enemies incoming!" Hoshijiro announced alertly.

There were about 15 Gauna approaching them all at once. And the numbers were still increasing.

"Prepare for an intense combat," Kunato calmly ordered.

Nagate observed the radar, and thought of a great plan.

"I will try to bait all of the Gauna within the Sword Cannon's range," Nagate explained toward them before flying away to attract all the Gauna's attention.

"I appreciate it," Jason simply said while observing the Particle Infusion percentage of the Sword Cannon.

He decided to increase the Sword Cannon's output into 370% at the cost of having longer cooldown and potentially overloading it.

[ 150%.... ]

Nagate flew around them, gathering as much as nearby Gauna as possible.

The others from his squad provided Nagate with cover to ensure his safety.

[ 230%.... ]

Nagate soon managed to attract 20 Gauna Guardians, all of them following closely behind him.

He now only needed to accurately time the moment to lead all of them toward the Sword Cannon's trajectory. He must also need to avoid the attack.

[ 370% Unstable Higgs Particle Infusion Complete. ]

"Now!" Jason signalled Nagate, quickly seeing all of the Gauna ahead of him.

He pressed the trigger.

Nagate quickly flew toward the side as fast as possible, the Gauna trying to follow after him, but they soon faced a very humangous and intense linear beam that swallowed all of them at once.

The force behind it was much considerably larger and stronger compared to before.

It took many peoples breath away.

Jason examined the radar and saw all the signs of Gauna being gone.

"20 Gauna Guardians has been annihilated all at once!" reported the two masked assistants while trembling with excitement.

Kobayashi and Yuhata were shocked to hear that, not even Imagining that such a scene could happen.

That kind of strength... It was almost similar to the Gravitational Beam Emitter.

The entire Kunato Squad were also shocked speechless after seeing it so closely.

Nagate started sweating heavily, thinking that he would have been very doomed if he didn't avoided on time.

"Thank you for all your help," Jason thanked the entire Kunato Squad. He examined the two reactors, seeing the two being drained tremendously. It will probably take some time to completely refill.

Jason then saw the Kunato Squad were still slightly absentminded.

"There are still more of them. Let's go help the others."

Those words immediately snapped all of them from their dazzled state.

There were still 21 Gauna Guardians remaining.

Jason and the Kunato Squad were about to help the others, but found many Gauna flying toward them through their radar.

"Jason and Kunato Squad! The Gauna from our are heading toward your location!" Seii Informed all of them.

Jason nodded while thinking deeply.

"It seems like they want to prevent me from using the Sword Cannon again... How very smart for them," Jason muttered with a hint of smile.

Rokurome slowly walked ahead of the entire Kunato Squad.

"Stay here and cover me from the behind. I'll show you guys the new move that I developed," Jason ordered sternly as he took a deep breath.

He wasn't still able to perfectly use Rokurome to its full potential after just piloting it for the first time.

However, Jason was now 90% used to it after mentally practicing for various times just now.

Only TPIG System was left now.

And it was time.

"TPIG System..." Jason closed his eyes and exhaled deeply. "...activate."

Suddenly, black red particles started to spread across his skin, forming into a solid demonic armour. In this form, Jason's physical state was at its highest.

This form was also his original form, but his body still remained sealed.

The Neuro Ring deployed over Jason's head, shining with resplendent blue light.

As a result, Rokurome's right eye was tainted with black that seemed to came from abyss.

[ TPIG System Activated. ]

Jason immediately felt his head growing extremely heavy—a sea worth of information entering his brain.

Thought Acceleration activated on its own to quickly process the abundant information.

Jason was processing the various information that directly came from the various sensors. The system also provided him with the best possible responses and probabilities.

However, the system wasn't actually assisting Jason, but was instead forcing him to choose the best responses regardless of his will.

He frowned heavily, quickly beating the system into submission. It soon meekly handed the control over him after being bullied harshly.

Jason didn't really wanted to get used by the system, only himself will decide on how to use the information being transmitted into his brain.

As a result of his choice, Jason's view of the world changed from what's known as normal.

He unlocked the True TPIG System, much to Mr. Alien's surprise.

The system allowed Jason to analyze and process the information from the outside without needing to rely on his own sight and the monitors.

It essentially allowed him to see the world in the planes of physical, digital and information state.

The reason was due to the various sensors that now acted as Jason's own eyes.

The various sensors were much superior than his eyes in terms of collecting combat informations in just a matter of seconds.

It was also similar to the superpowers known as Enhanced Perception and Augmented Reality Sense, but instead created through the wonders of science.

At this current state, Jason possesed greater analytical and observation abilities as well as a keen sense for details by directly receiving the information into the brain.

The information he received even contained the most minuscule details, which most organisms will usually overlook.

Jason can also use the information to asses everything, effectively turning everything into his own advantage. The information received were also very detailed, helping him see the most optimal way to deal with anything by making use of his evolved super-awareness, allowing him to grasp the behaviour of anything, and gain clear understanding over things that are hardly noticeable.

As a result, Jason can now predict or anticipate the outcome of any actions, no matter how subtle or complex, essentially making him a perfect all-seeing planner that can predict every possibility of any outcomes.

However, it depends on Jason himself to actually process all of that information which could even explode a superhuman's brain.

It only gave him the weapon, but it was him who will need to properly handle it.

Nevertheless, it was a good final trump card to use at desperate situation.

Rokurome stared at the six Gauna Guardian heading toward them. Its body slowly leaned forward, vanishing in a flash as its thrusters were pushed to the very limit, leaving behind a dense trail of particles.

Brandishing its crimson sword—

And moving as if already predicting their next move before they can actually even move.

Rokurome performed a sword technique that resembled a mighty wave, swallowing every enemies domineeringly.

The world was already slowed down.

Moving in slow motion, Rokurome slashed at the first Gauna with its sword, then moving on to the next one, and then the next one, wave after wave.

Rokurome slashed every singe one of them in a single straight line, eventually arriving at the very back, the final stop of the wave.

It sheathed its sword back, the world returning to normal.

And all the Gauna exploding bubbles behind it.

Jason deactivated the TPIG System, quickly breathing heavily.

His head hurts, as if something was hammering it constantly.

Yet he smiled.

The state of directly receiving information was much surreal than he expected.
