Chapter 14

*10 min before test starts.*

"Who wants to place any bets on who will get first place?" Nemuri asks, as Hizashi finishes his speech, and the countdown starts.

"OH! I SAY THAT EXPLOSIVE KID, KID'S GOT SPUNK!" Hizashi responds instantly, as loud as ever.

"I say that black haired fox girl." Nemuri interjects. As she pulls up a file containing mention of her quirk, her ability to use lifelike illusions and limited fire/Ice manipulation catching her eye. Her looks playing no small part in her interest.

"I'll put money on that bet." Aizawa seconds Nemuri's opinion, similarly interested in her incredibly versatile quirk.

"I think that green haired boy has potential." Toshinori adds, trying in vain to hide his bias.

"That's just because he's your successor." Aizawa says, "Frankly it's pathetic how wimpy he is."

Toshinori visibly deflates in his seat, not literally, as he wasn't in his Allmight form, but the way he collapsed at Aizawa's words, as if physically attacked, inspiring a similar feeling.

"I'll put 10 grand on the wolf boy!" Nezu responds, as all the teachers instantly come to attention, Aizawa's eyes opening slightly at the mention of so much money, wondering how much he can laze around with that money.

"Speaking of that kid, I know you've done some pretty blatant manipulation to students tests when they catch your attention, but what gave you the Idea to give him perfect hundreds in every test?" Nemuri asks, Aizawa nodding slightly, sharing the sentiment.

"It's simple! I didn't!" Nezu yells, laughing as he sipped his tea.

"Yeah right, he answered like he knew all the questions beforehand, and was reading the answers off google, like look at this question on quantum mechanics." Aizawa says, as he pulls up the students test.

"He wrote, "Here's the answer you wanted, its incorrect, here's why." and then goes on to give an in depth explanation on the nuances of quantum entanglement! HE'S 15! NOT ONLY THAT! HE GOT A 100 ON THE MORALITY TEST! WHAT IS HE? THE INCARNATION OF MORALS?"

"Quite the opposite really." Nezu replies. "And whether you believe me or not he didn't cheat, nor did I mess with the results."

"Then why does it look like he knew all the questions and answers beforehand?"

"Because he did!"

"So you did help him cheat."

"No, he just knows fucking… everything, its honestly terrifying, his memory is so perfect he can recall the exact time, temperature, atmospheric pressure, and background noise of literally every single fucking second of his life, you tell him something once, and he will never forget it again, he's like a fucking supercomputer, but better if that makes any sense. Its like talking to the physical manifestation of the internet. For instance, it apparently took him 3 months to learn every single language in Africa. 3, fucking, months. It's… terrifying."

All the teachers in the room look at Nezu as if he had gone crazy, had they heard this from literally anyone else on the planet they would write it off as insanity, but Nezu himself was essentially a supercomputer given biological form.

"Honestly it's not a question of who will get first, it's a question of who will get second, and by how much he will be in the lead."

Again the teachers look at Nezu like he just told them that pigs were actually gods, they understood that this boy seemed to have a very powerful quirk, but there were thousands of participants, and even the most normal or boring seeming quirk could be extremely powerful under certain circumstances.

"Here, just see for yourselves." Nezu says, as the main screen switches to showing a white haired, blindfolded teen, with wolf features, and standing at an impressive 200cm (rougly 6ft 7in), leaning in a relaxed manner on the archway the stood at the entrance of his test section.

The teachers watched with bated breaths, as the time slowly ticked down, finally hitting zero, but still the kid didn't move, only reaching his free hand into his pocket, pulling out a small block of needles.

The teachers turned to Nezu, wondering if this was really the kid Nezu had just been bragging about just moments earlier, as Nezu quickly pointed them back at the screen, internally hoping that Fenrir hadn't decided to just not participate, and cause a fool of him.

Although quickly his fears were dispelled.

The teachers watched in confusion as suddenly the boys hand lit up in dark golden light, complex runes and engravings covering his skin, as he stared at the needles for a split second, before swiping his hand sideways, each and every single on of the needles disappearing through some sort of crack in space, the teachers waited for a moment, wondering why nothing had happened, before suddenly one of the side screens, showing the status of every robot in his section, suddenly flickered, before every single status report read "destroyed." all at once, and the teachers stared in shock, watching as on the video feed, every single robot simply stopped in place all at once, although some of them, the ones with contact to a grounded conductor, spasmed slightly as electric arc's ran across them for a split second, before they to fell still.

All the witnesses simply stared in shock for a while, both the teachers and students, as the camera refocused on the perpetrator, still in the same position, completely unbothered, as if this was normal to him, as he calmly drank his coffee, a small amount of black fog leaking from the runes on his arm, that quickly began to dim.

The only thought running through all their heads was simply. "What the fuck…"

(an, sorry for the poor quality of this chapter, I had a shit ton of homework to do, and was in a shitty mood, not to mention I got only 4 hours of sleep last night so my mind is barely functioning, just be happy I deigned to post at all today.)
