As a young child Sebastian developed savant syndrome in the field of physics and mathematics as a result of a fall off of a building while playing, this came at the unfortunate cost of a slow and permanent necrosis of some parts of his brain, beginning with his short term memory and advancing to his fine motor functions and emotions, eventually losing all ability to feel emotions at all, as well as some of his processing abilities, and now as an adult he begins to find himself with more extreme symptoms, periodic temporary amnesia, and an inability to process basic things, getting diagnosed by a doctor he finally becomes aware of the extent of the damage to his brain, and understanding that he only has so long to live, and will likely soon lose all higher brain function, decides to end his life early, now he finds himself in the world of an anime, one he had never watched himself, and only knew of from passing mention and memes. And with the ability to see reality in its raw form instead of the color and sound he is used to, as well as spatiokinesis, energy manipulation, and telekinesis, watch as he slowly rediscovers what it is like to feel.

Chapter 15

I slowly drink my coffee, ignoring my growing migraine from using so much strength all at once. Even with all my cost saving measures meaning every needle only took about .3 percent of my energy, I did it 250 times all at once, so I still used over 75% of my energy in that one action. But the test is over now anyway so it shouldn't matter- I stand corrected.

I watch as a 400 meter tall monstrosity of a robot pulls itself from a gate that had opened up in the center of the makeshift city. The buildings it used as handholds groaning under its immense weight, as it pulled itself to its full stature, towering over even the tallest skyscraper in the makeshift city.

I guess I forgot about the zero pointer, In all honesty I didn't expect it to be as large as it is, I knew its whole point was to be a thing to avoid, but still, the fact that you gain nothing from beating it is stupid considering its immense size, isn't part of being a hero mitigating property damage? I also expected it not really to appear since I ended the test early, but I guess I forgot how sadistic Nezu was.

Unluckily for me the Robot seemed to instantly lock on to my position upon righting itself, obviously targeting me, likely due to me being the highest scorer in my group, as it begins to barrel towards me, buildings falling in its wake, like seriously, how much money is Nezu willing to spend on what is essentially hazing potential students.

My mind runs through some calculations, as I try to figure out whether or not it was worth defeating the robot even if it resulted in damage to my soul, because no way am I beating this thing with less than 25% of my energy, eventually deciding that I had already gone this far to make a powerful impression, a little bit of soul damage wasn't all that big of a deal, plus I had 6 months before school actually started, more than enough time to heal any amount of soul damage.

Forgoing concerns of energy expenditure I decide to make the biggest impression I could, after all, the more media attention on me the less influence Nezu can exert on me, directly or Indirectly, and considering UA's fame and the uniqueness of its test it was a lot of news anchors reported on it, and many people watched it as a form of entertainment. Sure I would also attract the attention of some unsavories but I was more than willing to make that trade.

I raise my palm, as I catch the robots massive fist, as a split second latter it splits apart like a blooming flower, a few of its massive fingers flying off as the jagged remains of its fist dig through the thick concrete wall I sat upon, completely missing me. As I suppress a wince.

That one move had cost me the majority of my remaining energy, and wasn't nearly as impressive as it looked. To the outside perspective it may look like I simply caught the fist and its hand gut cut apart due to my immovable form, but even if I was completely invincible, that's simply not how force works, you can be indestructible but if you get hit by a car you will still be sent flying, that's just how mass works. No, what I had done was much less impressive than that.

What I had done was redirect about 60 percent of the kinetic energy in the material in a straight line in front of my palm, not the entire robots fist, just the palm, vectoring 40 percent directly backwards to prevent any material from hitting me, while the other 20 percent where directed sideways, literally pulling the fist apart from the inside, see my ability, while powerful, didn't actually have that much output, similar to guns, what makes it strong isn't the amount of force behind it, but how you use that force. In guns it means that a small amount of force can pierce much more material by localizing the force, similar to blades, and for me it means I can use small amounts of force to exploit inherent weaknesses in an object's design or centralize the force into a single spot.

I unfortunately didn't have the energy to do that again If I wanted to actually defeat the robot, so I simply teleported onto the robot's shoulder, watching as its remaining intact fist crashed into the position I had been just moments before. Before turning to the robot's massive neck as it began to survey the area, undoubtedly looking for me.

I had tried many times to repeat what had happened in that alley, where I managed to dematerialise such a large area, but had never succeeded, don't get me wrong, I had managed to do similar things on a much smaller scale, but never anywhere near as much as I had in that alley, something I attributed to my proximity to danger allowing me to use my ability to a much greater degree than I normally can, but my attempts had resulted in the creation of a new technique. One I had named "Bisect" due to its nature, I know its cringe to name your moves, but it's really good for marketing to have a signature ultimate move, and even better when it's named, the general populace just eats that shit up, and I mentally shudder at what I'm, about to do, but I justify it to myself by reminding myself how good it will be for shock value and drumming up interest in me, so even though I know I will regret this later, and will most certainly have to suffer through Nier's teasing, I reach out my palm towards the robots neck.

A small portion of it instantly freezes under my touch as I rob the molecules of their kinetic energy, which I will be using as part of my technique. As I form a tiny corridor of space, thinner than a quark, that stretches horizontally across the machine's entire neck, as it finally realizes my presence. 'Too late'.

I hesitate for a moment, before my voice rings out, empowered by my quirk it is heard across the entire facility, as I say a single word, cringing at my own actions. "Bisect."

The instant I say the word I force the energy into the corridor, the space expanding in a mere instant, growing from the thinner than a quark to centimeters thick in a mere instant, as atoms are forced apart, the technique working on similar principles to teleporting and warping, it literally increases the spatial distance between to places, but it doesn't end at just pulling molecules apart, if it just did this then since space outside of this area is unaffected when the warping collapses there would be little damage, with the potential that the atoms would simply spontaneously fuse back together due to their inability to react with the atmosphere in time, similar to how clean metal can weld together in the vacuum of space on contact due to the metal being unoxidised. No,  it also breaks molecular and atomic bonds, and if you know anything about what that means, well you know what happens next.

Any atom unlucky enough to be caught up along the edge of the area of effect is torn apart at the atomic level, in a process similar to nuclear fission, the only difference being that it happens to any atom no matter its element, as molecules undergo a similar process, making even inert compounds act like explosives, as the material along the area of effect essentially explodes, luckily while some of this power came from nuclear fission and certainly releases radiation, it leaves behind no radioactive elements aside from the few naturally occurring in the material, or if the broken atoms happen to form a radioactive element, but considering the incredibly small amount of said elements, it leaves no risk of radiating the environment.

And so I watch as the head pops upwards slightly, before falling to the side, leaving behind a jagged, glowing patch of wires, metal, and electronics where the machines neck used to be, luckily the robot doesn't just fall down like biologicals do on death, and simply freezes in its last position, quite lucky considering I don't even have the energy to teleport myself to safety at the moment, as I fall on my ass, and sigh, pulling some Ibuprofen out of my jacket before taking 5 tablets to help with my migraine, my enhanced constitution meaning I'm not in danger of any side effects.

(an, sorry for not posting yesterday, I had a really bad migraine, the kind that doesn't go away no matter how much you drink, or how many painkillers you take, so you have to lay in bed with the lights off for hours on end, trying your best to stay completely still because ANY movement makes it return full force. It only started to get slightly better to the point I could actually think and move without collapsing at about midnight last night but I didn't have the energy nor desire to write after that so I just read for a while before falling unconscious out of pure exhaustion, so yeah, that sucked, it even persisted after I woke up, albeit not as painful, so I spent the entire day in a certain amount of pain. Anyway, I hope you guys like this chapter, I tried my best to make him powerful while still having limits that don't seem like I'm nerfing him, because I want him to be op, but not invincible, because that's no fun.)
