The Monstrels

After all of that was said and done and helping Ruby along with her mother to save there land things went alright for a time, but soon enough I was called upon by the headmaster once more.

"I need to ask a favor of you Drake." The headmaster said as he sat at his desk while going over paperwork as one of his guards hand me a coffee to drink.

"Hold that thought." I say as I smell the coffee before me reminded me of the coffee I used to drink back in New York City in my original world.

"Is this from Joes Coffee Company?" (A/N yes that's a real coffee company) I say after taking a whiff and a sip of it before giving it a nod, "Wow it really is, I dunno if you just got this because of where I was from before coming here but actually getting me one of my favorite coffee's from the states must mean what your gonna ask is important." I say with a smile having something that reminds me of home.

Though hearing that he did just cough into his hand, 'actually all I did was look up to see what's the most popular coffee in New York and just hoped you liked it.' Is what he thought to himself before turning to look back at me.

"Yes, well it is rather important as this school has an underlying problem that I need someone from the student body to deal with the problem." He says getting to the main topic at hand.

"A certain group of students, these students aren't pure blooded monsters but hybrids, these hybrids seem to have a hatred towards the pure blooded monsters, as for a reason why I think it's because they feel ostracized by the rest of the school for not being like them and being mixed breeds, so they feel vindicated to destroy our school as a whole and possibly something much worse…." He says laying out what he knows to me.

"And let me guess, since I'm the strongest student here in school you want me to hunt them down and hand them off to you? Or are you fine with a more…." I say as I look up from my cup as my eyes turn red as the berserker in me takes over a bit, "…. Permanent solution?"

We stare at each other for a bit, his bright white eyes hidden under his hood and my blood red eyes as he rapped his fingers on his table as he thought about it before he stopped.

"Unless they have the complete intention to kill you then no your to bring them in to me, otherwise I leave it at your discretion." He said giving me my objective to do.

"Alright, but I have to ask because I'm not doing this out of the kindness of my heart, and I don't owe you anything so the question is, what will you give me to make it worth my while." I say while leaning back in my chair.

Though the guards weren't exactly happy about me saying that, but it's not there job to talk so even if they weren't happy they waited for there boss to say what he was gonna do in return.

And once again we were both staring each other down, but I had him in check because unless he releases the seals on his body that hold back his power he as he is now he isn't as much of a threat, but I still don't want to take the chance even if I use both either Curruid Coinchenn or Azrael when he goes all out I don't know if I could even land a hit but still unless he does that I have nothing to fear.

So we sat in silence for a few moments before he pinched between his eyes before he sighed, "Fine, if you root them out and get them brought in or taken out I'll let you and the rest of your club members go on a week long trip to one of the famous hotspring town, does that sound good?" He said making his offer.

Hearing that made me grin as I stood up, "You got a deal Headmaster, I'll take them all in for you asap."

"Good, and here, a walkie-talkie, use this to call my men to bring in the hybrids causing issues here in school." He says placing out a walkie-talkie which I take and put it away.

And with a nod from me I leave his office as now I got to figure out where they are as in all honesty I don't remember where there hq is at so I got to figure where it is once more.

"Drake, are you sure you can handle this on your own?" Moka asks worriedly as I had finally found the location of the Monstrels and I was gonna go take care of them.

"Don't worry, I can handle this, it's not like I'll be facing a large army like back then, I can handle a group of them no problem." I say confidently.

Although I will have to worry about there leader and vice leader if they are not there since their the sneaky types from what I remember, but those two aren't anywhere at the school the likelihood everyone in that group is gathered in one place is high so I can clean this all up in one go.

"Alright, just…. Don't get hurt alright?" Moka said worried about me.

I just smiled as I rubbed her head, "I'll be fine, but while I'm gone you girls should stay next to each other in case they somehow get away and go after any of you, I don't need them holding you hostage or anything." I know they can take care of themselves, but without inner Moka as back up for them they are pretty weak right now and aren't as strong as they become later down the line after all.

So with that said I left them be and them staying together is the best way to keep themselves safe as I use my speed and agility to jump from the 2nd story window before darting away deep into the woods around the academy heading straight for there headquarters in an abandoned building.

As I approached the building I put on Hassan's Mask that's needed to activate that noble phantasm but comes with the added bonus of presence concealment as the shadows surrounded my body and faded from all forms of detection before reaching a vantage point to listen in on there groups conversation.

There were only 8 of them at this meeting, 7 men and 1 woman with there leader 'surprisingly' being the student council president Hokuto Kaneshiro, and in the original story the only other human alongside Tsukune that had to turn into a monster to survive.

But besides his right hand man who made him a monster everyone else in this little ragtag group believes him to be a hybrid just like them.

(A/N this only makes sense if you read the manga and not the anime since the anime is considered mostly separate from the manga)

"So boss, when are we gonna get this plan started?" One of his underlings with a shaved head said as he took a puff from his cigarette.

"Soon enough Midou, luckily there planning to put me on the school festival planning committee, by then I'll be close enough to the Headmaster to deal a fatal blow and bring chaos to the school, then will make all of those who looked down on us pay." Hakuto said while getting the cheers of his peers, but before they could continue they all heard a slow clap coming from above them all making them look around confused like besides Hakuto and his second in command readied themselves for anything.

"Bravo, I heard everything I needed to hear to deal with you lot with free rein on what I want to do." I say as I fall down towards the rest of them in shadows before landing with my full power unleashed with spear in hand as I stared them all down.

"Now then, it's time to take out the trash." I said before I launch at them with full intent to take them all down, as none of them stand a chance against me, that hot spring trip is mine.

Still contemplating the whole going after huntress and spirit thing, I mean I will if you guys don't mind one piece getting pushed back a bit to do it, mind you it would only be like less than 5 chapters to get them I think.

Though the entity won't be happy with it, but hey then will have a kinda sorta maybe or maybe not overarching enemy since it's not taking there true selves from his games but one of there aspects of themselves or something like that, so he might hold it against Drake or he might not care I dunno, are outer gods very petty or not because I have no clue.
