CHAPTER 25

/ The Next Day - Mc Pov /

We woke up the next day feeling refreshed. I'm glad that Alice can sleep now, thanks to my blood, of course.

After we prepared, we went to school. Along the way, we met the rest of the Cullens. A few moments later, we arrived at school and parked our car at our usual spot. The rest of the day went smoothly with nothing happening, and Bella hasn't pestered us anymore after last month's "incident."

When we were in the parking lot, Alice stopped before we entered our car. She called out to her siblings, "Come to our house tonight, I have something I wanted to talk about!" The Cullens nodded, especially Edward. He was just smiling. After that, we entered our car, and I asked Alice what it was that she had in mind or what vision she had. But she just smiled and said nothing.

(Later That night)

The Cullens arrived, but this time Carlisle and Esme came as well. "Quite the house you have here, Mikael. And here, I made you some food," Esme said after they entered our house. I then greeted them and gestured for them to proceed to the living room.

"So Alice, you saw something in your vision?" Carlisle asked after they all sat down on the sofa, some of them standing with serious expressions except for Edward, as he was just looking out the glass door. And I can see his silly smile from here.

"What's with those expressions? Yes, I had a vision, but it was rather a good vision," Alice answered while smiling.

The Cullens looked at each other and eased their expressions.

"I saw us buying some gifts, and we had a party that day," Alice said.

"Gifts? For whom?" I asked her with a look of confusion. Alice, who was sitting on my lap, brushed my hair with her fingers and asked back, "Don't you remember what next week is?"

"Um... I don't remember it at all," I answered and shrugged my shoulders. Alice sighed, then looked at her family, and said, "It's Bella's birthday, so we have to buy gifts for her and prepare a little party just for her and us as the guests."

"Do we have to invite her friends too?" Thea asked.

"No!" Edward immediately answered, getting a nod of agreement from Rosalie.

"All right, Alice, I trust that you can handle this?" Carlisle asked her, and she nodded in reassurance.

After that, Carlisle and Esme looked at each other and nodded. After that, they excused themselves and left us to our own thing.

Then, for the rest of the night, we discussed Bella's birthday, what gift we should get for her, and what kind of party we should have. Alice suggested that tomorrow night after school, we'll go to Seattle and search for a suitable gift for Bella.

 /? UNKNOWN PLACE - UNKOWN LOCATION ?/

-Third Pov-

In a dimly lit room with a round table in the center and black chairs surrounding it, sat 10 unknown people dressed in suits and gowns... But there's one thing that they have in common... Their red eyes.

"What's the status of order 67?" One of them said while holding a deeply red colored wine.

"We haven't found anything about the child," This time a woman dressed in a gothic gown said.

"It has been 2 years, and our client has grown impatient." Another man with a buffed body said.

The people in the room murmured about the topic until...

"Very interesting... it's not rare we get a request from Royal families, but this one... they are willing to give us that amount for such a request."

All of a sudden, the room went quiet and they looked in one direction, there was a man, dressed in a suit, with short, slicked-back blonde hair, and a neatly trimmed beard, and he wore sunglasses with his back facing them.

The man looked at the photos that were projected on the wall, there was a family, parents, and their only child, a boy. There were a total of 5 photos of the family and each of those photos had an 'X' red mark on their face, except their child.

"What should we do, sir?" One of them asked.

"Expand our search, search every village, town, city, everything, don't miss out on a single clue, and don't forget, proceed with caution." The man answered.

"Understood." They said in unison.

The man turned around and sat on his seat, the butler next to him poured him a glass of deep red colored wine, and he said, "Onto the next matter."

"Sir, we have a report on Italy." One of them said while standing up from her seat.

"Ahh... must be the Volturi," The man said while shaking his wine glass.

"Indeed, sir, they have been trying to recruit our agents to join their ranks, even went further as brainwashing them and ended up killing them if they failed to brainwash our agents." The woman said.

The man smiled mischievously and said, "Send them our 'regards' and tell them, especially Aro that power-hungry b*ch... Gave us Jane and Alec, and they can have as many of our agents as they want."

"And one more thing, tell our agents, spies, and assassins from all over the world, 'Thank You, For Serving Us'."

The man stood up while raising his cup of wine, the people around the table also followed him, and he said,

"May The Blood of Our Victims Guide Us All."

/ The Next Day - After School /

-MC Pov-

After the class ended, we went to my house and prepared to go to Seattle.

"Where's Edward?" I asked them.

"He said that he can't come," Thea answered, and I asked again, "Why?"

"Yeah, sure, it's not like he's stalking Bella," Emmet answered while grinning. Rosalie just rolled her eyes while the rest of us just laughed it off.

After that, we took off to Seattle with 2 cars, mine and Edward's car. I let Alice drive because she knows where to go, and I just enjoyed the night view of Seattle. Ahh... Seattle, I wonder what the crime rate is after I massacred the whole criminal groups of this city back when I was broke.

I wanted to say the city was clean, but I'm not sure if it really is clean because there is one thing that I can't change, and that is the homeless population. Back in my first life and in Murim, there were always homeless people.

Even when I had power and authority while I was in Murim, I could only manage to stop homelessness for about a year, and after that, they went back to their old lifestyle. I don't know what the cause of that is, and it remains a mystery to me.

Anyway, we arrived at a mall. We went to the gift shop inside and bought some gifts. Then Alice led us to the clothing store and bought some as well for Bella. After about 3 hours of shopping, we went to the parking lot.

'Hmm?'

But when we were walking there, I suddenly stopped because I felt someone staring at me intensely. I tried to look for whoever was staring at me, but I couldn't seem to find them because we were still in a crowded area. We hadn't even reached the parking area.

"Mikael? What's wrong?" Alice noticed that I was stopping, approached me, and looked at me while I was still looking around the area.

The Cullens approached me as well, then I answered, "Someone's staring at me..."

"Oh, it's nothing, bro. We get that a lot. You see over there... the woman staring at us, and there... the kid who was eating his ice cream staring at us as well," Emmet said while pointing his fingers.

"You'll get used to it, Kael, especially when you're around us," Thea said, and they nodded in agreement. After that, they continued to walk to the parking lot, except Alice and I.

"Kael, are you okay?" Alice put her arms around my neck and asked me.

I looked at her and didn't say anything since I was still searching for them. Alice then kissed me and brought me out of my thoughts. Then she smiled and said, "We'll talk about it at home. Let's go."

After that, we went back to Forks. Along the way, I tried to spread my senses around me, and I still didn't find anything. Whoever was staring at me didn't follow us either.

Whoever it is, they're cautious, patient, and smart about what they are doing. This is not an unfamiliar feeling for me because back in Murim, I got this feeling a lot, and the culprit was either the Assassin Guild or the Thief Guild.

'Hmm, how I missed this feeling...'
