The Meteor

This was crazy, even for Shiki's standards.

The meteor had completely overlapped the surrounding sea. If anything, I could compare the meteor to a large island. Moreover, it seems that shiki had also managed to draw forth more smaller meteors along with the big one. Along with the friction caused by the meteor falling through the atmosphere, fire started to burn the meteor as it was crashing towards us.

I could sense Garp's and Sengoku's Conqurer's haki slowly beginning to radiate from the duo. Looks like they were set on stopping the meteor, as for me, I was getting ready to get out. However, Shiki must've sensed my intentions, because he immediately appeared right in front of me and sliced one of his katanas right at me.

I immediately raised Labrys to block the attack. Our weapons rung as they collided, I glared coldly at Shiki as he continued to press his blade down the Labrys' handle. The intent was obviously clear: He wanted me to stay within the chaos. I pushed Shiki back, but he wouldn't relent, he kept attacking me with more katana attacks as we started a battle of our own. The more furiously he continued attacking, the closer the meteors were making their way towards us.

Sengoku and Garp on the other hand, seemed to be arguing on whether or not to stop the meteorites. The fleet of marines had already began making their way away from the area, but they wouldn't be able to leave the area of effect in time. By destroying the meteor, they could reduce the impact of the meteor, but in exchange the area of effect would grow. This wasn't good on either circumstances, as a result, an argument ensued.

It must have been nice to have the time to ponder whether or not to destroy it. I wouldn't have known because there was a golden haired lunatic currently going for my throat while this was happening. He kept hacking and slashing at whatever opening I showed, the ferocity of his attacks left no oppurtunity to counter-attack. As a result, I was completely on the defense throughout the entire altercation.

The meteor was slowly getting even more closer as time went by. Sengoku seemed to have finally convinced Garp that they should pull back and guard the fleet as they fled. I had been hearing their conversation while I fought Shiki, however, that wasn't my primary concern. Since I had already sent the ship far away from the area of impact, that meant that I had no need to worry for them, only myself.

Meanwhile, Shiki seemed not to have a care in the world for the situation. It was kind of ironic, the man who started and could literally stop this didn't seem to give a care in the world.

We kept fighting as the metorite was finally about to make contact with the sea. The pressure that the meteorite was bringing along with it was quite formidable. One by one, the smaller meteors began to crash in the sea, making smaller explosions within the waves of the sea. It was as if the apocolypse had finally began.

I could only see red as Shiki continued slicing his swords down my axe handle. I gritted my teeth as I started to try and reason with this maniac.

"Aye, the Marines have already left. Why are you fighting with me?" I asked coldly as I clenched Labrys tightly.

"You're wasted with Whitebeard, you know? As I'm fighting you, I learn more and more about you. You clearly have potential, join me!" Shiki boomed.

That threw me off quite a bit, 'I was asking this maniac why he was fighting me and he invites me to join his crew? He's gotta be a psyco!!!'

Shiki kept on attacking without waiting for my response, at this point, I had long given up on trying to escape the meteors blast. I wasn't going to get out of here in time, but now I wanted to make sure that Shiki wouldn't either. Considering the fact that we were trapped in the sea without any naval support. We both would probably die as a result of all this. My patience was slowly growing thinner and thinner as we kept going.

"Shiki, we need to stop this, we both could die because of this," I stated solemnly as we clashed blades again.

"No! Unless you plan to join the Golden Lion Pirates, I won't let you come out of here alive!!" Shiki snorted coldly as he continued his vicious attacks.

"I already have my own way out, you know? The only one dying here today is you! Let Whitebeard come! I'll deal with him as well!!!" Shiki declared as he sent a barrage of golden sword slashes my way.

Killing intent was slowly beginning to manifested itself. I could feel Ghidorah making himself known deep inside my sea of conciousness.

I'm really not sure what was slowly beginning to take precedent over my instincts. My normal form of rationality was slowly beginning to blur within the depths of my mind. Although Ghidorah had bowed his head in submission. It never necessarily meant that I had managed to grab a hold over my animalistic instincts.

One of those instincts was the desire to survive, also accompanied by the all too familiar feeling of bloody murder. I can feel him, slowly coercing the walls of my conciousness as he tries to escape the shackles that I had put him under.

On the other end, the meteor was slowly getting closer and closer, what made this absolutely insane was the fact that I still couldn't see where the other end of the Meteor could be found. Meteor rained like fire as the hugest one made its way towards us. I slammed Shiki's katanas and threw him back to make some space.

I quickly followed up with Fulgur Mortuorum: The Lightning of The Dead, and sent him flying across the sea. I didn't have time to know his exact location, I quickly turned towards the meteor; which was practically seconds away from crashing at us. I summoned all the spiritual power I could and coated Labrys with it.

This time, I compressed it a hundred more times than I normally would have to perform Endens Lyn. I could feel my stamina waning as lightning began dancing around my body. Labrys was already coated with Conqurer's haki by now. However, Labrys wasn't fully powered yet, it needed only a few more seconds until it was.

There.

Labrys had reached its tipping point. I slowly lowered it as I took in a deep breath as I stared at this large meteor making its way. By now, I could already begin to feel its heat reaching my skin.

I focused all my strength on my forearms as I yelled out the top of my lungs:

"ELDENS LYN!!!!"

With an upward swipe of my trusty axe, I released all the power that was being compressed within Labrys while I did so. The power, as a result, immediately formed itself as a beam as it slammed itself at the meteor. The attack immediately went through the meteor, making bigger explosions as the attack continued passing through the meteor. By the time it revealed itself on the other side, the meteor exploded in colors of flame and silver. The debree that was formed as a result of the attack quickly caught fire as it flew into the sea.

The explosion's light flashed brightly throughout the horizon, it wouldn't be surprising if nearby islands could see this. It could be called beautiful to an extent, however, I didn't care.

I was tired.

When the explosion had resided, the moon could clearly be seen shining high at the opening within the clouds that the Meteor had punctured. The light formed a cylindrical cone as it shined at my tattered figure. Some of those damn debrees had managed to burn some of my clothes, I had plenty of minor injuries as a result of clashing with Garp and Shiki. However, it wasn't nothing too serious.

The most prevalent issue that I now needed to focus on was Shiki, I know that he wasn't one that enjoyed fireworks. If anything, I hope he fled as I destroyed the damn meteor he brought down.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. My sixth sense screamed at me to dodge at something when I felt a blade going through my skin, and almost piercing my heart. If the blade was a couple of centimeteres towards the right. The blade would have ran right through it.

I froze as I stared at the black blade that had suddenly appeared from within my chest. Only to hear some cold words coming from behind me.

"Like I said, you either join me, or die," Shiki's cold voice could be heard whispering near my left ear.

That was the breaking point.

Ghidorah broke free right out of my sea of Conciousness, slowly making me turn into my animal form without my consent. Endless killing intent flowed out of my body plentfully like water flowed from a source of a river. A red light had eminated into my vision; a familiar deep, guttorial roar that was being accompanied by a high pitched screetch eminated from me. I couldn't even feel my body at this point of time.

Ghidorah, was finally free.
