I put the other items in my inventory and decided I'll check them out in the morning since it's really late right now, and I'm supposed to be meeting the professor tomorrow.

I quickly left the dungeon and made my way home and up to my room. I took a quick shower and changed into my pajamas, and laid on the bed.

As I lay on the bed, I decided to check out the shop to see what all it provided me.

I looked through to see that the shop had potions of various types, weapons from common status to legendary, perks, titles, and items from Marvel and other universes.

As I continued to look, something caught my attention.

[Phoenix Spark I

Description: A spark of the Phoenix that doubles the power of all Psionic moves and raises Int by 10 for every level up. (Note: taking in the Phoenix Force will evolve this perk into [Host of the Phoenix])

Cost: 1,000 shop points]

Damn, that's a lot, but it is a good perk to start with for its first installment. I should save these points until I accumulate some more to buy this perk, or I could just wait until my inevitable encounter with The Phoenix Force, whenever that may occur, to get Host of the Phoenix.

Having my fill of looking through the shop, I decided to get some shut eye for my meet-up with the professor.

The Next Day

"Welcome to the Xavier Institute for Gifted Children, my name is Ororo Munroe and I'll be your tour guide this evening," a beautiful dark-skinned white hair woman greeted my mother and I as we entered the mansion.

"Oh, my, I thought Mr. Xavier was supposed to be giving us the tour?" My mother questioned with a slight blush as she stared at the goddess that is Storm.

"He was supposed to, but something came up, we'll be meeting him after the tour," Ororo explained.

As she turned around, she began to explain everything about the mansion and what I would be doing her as we walked throughout the place seeing some empty classrooms, the kitchen, the outside pool area, the greenhouse and garden, which Ororo takes care of personally.

Through the tour we did encounter some faces I'm familiar with like Wolverine, Beast, who was in human form, and a 16 year old Scott Sumners, who kept staring at me like a creep as we walked by.

"And to end our tour, this is Professor Xavier's office," Ororo said as we came to a stop by a dark oak wood door.

She knocked on the door and opened it to show us the inside of the office where Xavier was behind his desk.

"Ah, thank you for showing them around Ororo, I'll take it from here," Charles said.

Storm smiled at us and left.

"Please, come in, have a seat," Xavier said.

My mother and I entered, and each took a seat facing his desk.

"Your school is lovely, but I noticed you don't have many students," my mother said.

"Well, for a time I gave up on this school, but a friend helped me through what I was going through and inspired me to start it back up, so, that is why there are a lack of students. I hope with Jean and Scott, I can get others to join," Charles explained.

After talking more with the professor, my mom allowed me to stay and go here, but told me to visit home on the weekends. I told her I would and sent her off with a quick hug goodbye.

As I settled in my new room, I checked the loot I got from that giant from the skeleton dungeon.
