It's been a few months since I got settled into the Xavier Institute, and in that time, I was able to raise some of my other stats with the Danger Room sessions. Especially the ones with Wolverine, who made me not rely on my telekinetic abilities at all during them.

All in all, I'm doing good, although I haven't had the chance to use my dungeon ability, so I haven't leveled up, and I haven't gotten any quest yet either which is a bust.

-----------------------------------

After getting ready for the day, I walked downstairs and looked to the commons area to see Professor X and Storm with a hooded figure and Scott.

"What's going on?" I asked because this oddly seemed like that scene from X-Men Evolution.

"I want you and Scott to meet a new recruit we have," Charles said.

I walked in and stood by Scott, who seemed a little bit upset about something.

"It's alright, Kurt, you're among friends," Charles encouraged who I believe to be Nightcrawler based on the scene and because of his name above his head.

Kurt Wagner Lvl 9

Kurt removed his hood and cloak to show us his blue fur skinned self.

"So, Kurt, what sort of talents do you have that brought you here?" I asked even though I already knew what his powers were.

Kurt looked at the professor, who gave him a nod, and he teleported from where he was and appeared on the chandelier hanging upside down.

"Cool!" Scott and I both said.

"I'll be helping Kurt to get settled while you two are in class," the professor said.

"Jean, you're with me, we'll be working on your lifting limits with your telekinesis," Ororo said as she started walking to the backyard area.

I followed after her to see that a lot of things were set up for me to lift, from some rubber balls to weights in various pounds.

[Daily Training

Lift and hold each item for 10 minutes.

- 8 rubber balls

- 5 lbs weight

- 10 lbs weight

- 15 lbs weight

- 20 lbs weight

- 25 lbs weight

- 30 lbs weight

- 35 lbs weight

- 40 lbs weight

Rewards: 1 stat point for each object lifted]

"Alright, let's begin," Ororo said.

I used Telekinesis to make the 8 rubber balls lift into the air and float for 10 minutes, then moved on to the 5 lbs weight and repeated the same thing for the others until I came to the last weight.

[Daily Training Completed!

Rewards: 16 stat points]

"Can I try to lift something heavier? We always do these exercises," I asked, a little fed up with the same routine.

"Alright then, if you believe you're up for it, try to lift me," Ororo said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"I trust you," Ororo said.

"Ok," I said, taking a breath to calm my nerves.

I started up again and focused on trying to lift Storm. As I applied my Telekinesis, I started levitating her off the ground by a few inches until I had her about one foot in the air.

"Alright, that's good, Jean," Ororo complemented me until she saw the strain look on my face. "Now, set me down gently."

I did as she said and set her back down as gently as I could, and let out a deep breath as lifting another person seems more taxing than levitating oneself, luckily it doesn't take a lot of MP lift or levitate things.

"I think this was a great lesson for today. Go rest up because you have Logan's class next," Ororo said.

"Great," I said sarcastically.

"He's not that bad, is he?" She asked.

"Try going through one of his lessons, and we'll talk about how bad he is," I said as she chuckled.

I know it's not much of a growth, but she'll start to grow more later as I bring in some more elements from some of the X-Men shows and the movies.
