Welcome to the freak show Take your seat but Don't look out the windows The monsters like to jump out of the dark Does this song sound familiar? If it is, that will be the vibe of the beginning of the book. If you don't know, read on to experience it for yourself! Nothing is as it seems. Why is technology so advanced yet have so limited ways of using? Why is magic so powerful but not everyone can use it? Peek your interest yet? Buckle up 'cause this is just the start...

The author sure likes to foreshadow and build mystery. As much as I am angry at them for it, it also push me tp the next chapter...so... good work done!

This book was an interesting read. The dynamic between the main character and their parents was intriguing. The world-building we're shown leads to plenty of questions, and some answers. The characters have their own thoughts, characteristics, and intentions. I've also always enjoyed the concept of mixing technology with magic, and I like where it's heading. Now, for the not-so-good: There is so much telling and so little showing. Readers don't like to be told what they're seeing; they want to be shown so they can form a mental picture in their heads. There aren't many gripping moments to hook the readers into the story, at least not for me. There is more content in the chapters than there needs to be; we get given information not relevant to the story at times. Sometimes the transition of scenes isn't written, so the character is somewhere in one sentence, and somewhere else the next. There are so many characters introduced so quickly that it becomes a little hard to keep up. The only other thing stopping this good book from being a great book is some solid editing. Occasionally strange descriptions were used, past tense would jump to present tense, entire words seemed to be missing from sentences sometimes, punctuation was missing or incorrect at times, and the main character was given she/her pronouns once, and they're a boy. Characters had their names misspelled several times, including the main character. You can tell while reading that the author is new to this, and there is much room to grow. English may also not be their first language, so with that in mind, this is already a great effort on their part. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how the author will improve and what stories they'll write in the future!

This story stirred our imagination in a very good way, with a very strong opening scene. . . This story was told in very good descriptive ways, the author didn’t seem to force their readers to imagine their own imagination. Instead, they gave space for readers to imagine in their own perspectives. Unfortunately, there was still some vocabulary that unsuitable to use in some parts. Also, I suggested author to part between the character’s dialogue and the descriptive explanations. I often get confused with ways author from a sci-fi or action genre write, it felt too fast, like, the MC did this and suddenly that. I also suggest the author to consider using a detailed explanation on character’s emotions/expressions. But overall, it’s a very interesting story. In fact, I can’t wait to see the what will happen next. . . So much room for improvement, so, Ganbatte, author!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Although I don’t usually like when stories are past then time skip, I really liked the way the author did it with divine intention to show just how much the character was effected by his past. His father doesn’t keep his promises or the time, making the character value relationships and importance. The character is three dimensional. You can feel his emotions as well as the other people around him. Like the fun he was having with his father before he broke yet another promise. There’s a really good amount of action that happens and the authors flow makes it faced paced, leaving the reader at the edge of their seat. Definitely have a knack for story telling. I can go further. But I don’t want to give any spoilers. [img=gift]

I like the story's concept and world building. So far, the characters introduced appear to have very different motivations and thoughts regarding the conflict of Magic vs Tech and the appearance of the new mysterious school. Vocabulary-wise, the story may require some improvement. Aside from that I do think that there's potential in this story so do give it a try :)

The book sounds very interesting. You have a great idea and I hope you will succeed in writing it. First of all I like the worldbuilding. But in my opinion you described unnec things in to much unnessary and things that are impor tant came to short. But that does not stop what you thought of to come out good. It would be even better if you checked everything and edited it. I would advice you to take your time and look through it. Nevertheless nice idea and good Cover. Keep up your work.

There's only three chapters as of now, so there's not much to go on. Regardless, the book has potential. The story aims to have an interesting take on tech and magic, which it does quite beautifully. Though there were some minir errors here and there, it's not enough to detract the reader from the story. Overall, it seems to be a story with a great structure, and an even greater potential.

Interesting story with a certain sense of impeding doom about it. Not super catchy yet, but I assume that it'll get quicker and better as the tale progresses. The thing that bothers me a bit is the strange flow of the language. Perhaps something could be done about punctuation since the sentences occasionally don't really flow. But I like the vibe a lot. Seems like the author wants to get us invested in the story and the ending of chap 2 was so great that the author seems to have succeeded. :)
