The Devil Inside(mha)[dropped]

A world with super powers is what everyone dreams they can be apart of. Indeed it is marvellous, though only if you are lucky. A world where eighty percent of the population has these powers called 'quirks' isn't as great as you think. Racism, discrimination and everything can be found in this world. That twenty percent of the population gets treated horribly. The discrimination and abuse they receive is far worse than anything worlds without powers receive. This world is all about power, and those who have it prey on the weak. The ones with power become heroes and become millionaires, while the powerless can barely find jobs. Those who retaliate are seen as evil and are labelled a 'villain' and are forced to accept it and be shunned and hunted after by these so called heroes. Though the quirkless get treated like trash, there are people who are treated worse. Those who have power but are seen as dangerous because their quirks are seen as villainous. The world is not fair, and only those who have luck on their side can lead a fruitful life.

In a hospital in California, there is a white haired women who is giving birth. Beside this women her husband is holding her hand, while trying to ease her pain.

"Push sweetie, push" said the black haired man.

"Shut up, I already know" said the white haired women while trying to give birth.

After many minutes the women finally gave birth. A baby boy came into existence and shortly after another baby boy came along. As the nurses and doctors are congratulating them on two beautiful kids, the mother is entranced by their beauty. Though the babies are still covered in goo and blood, she couldn't help but feel connected to them.

"Come on honey let me hold them" the man asked.

As she gave them to the man, he was warned not to drop them and took great caution. ('I can't wait until they are old enough to train') thought the man while holding the two boys. As time went on the father noticed something. When he let the women hold their child he noticed that ones eyes turned red with a vertical slit and the other child eyes flashed gold. It was only for a brief second so he thought it must've been him as he stayed awake all night.

(Time skip 3 years)

It's been three years since the children were born. They were born into a wealthy family consisting of top heroes and successful businessmen. The oldest of the children was called Damien, he had black hair and striking red eyes. The younger one was called Stefan, and he had white hair and green eyes. Though they twins they were different. Their facial features were the almost identical and the only way you could tell them apart was their hair colour and eyes and the hair style they wore. Damien was growing out his hair, and Stefan has enough hair to cover his forehead, though it wasn't long. They also had different personalities, Damien was more out going and liked to pull pranks, while Stefan was more calm and collected. Though Stefan was like this, he wasn't always calm and collected. He loved to play and pull pranks just like Damien but was more conservative than him.

"Damien, Stefan, come downstairs breakfast is ready" their mother Screamed out to them.

"We're coming" they said simultaneously.

As they reached the table, they thanked their maids and chefs. They always did this to show appreciation, which made the maids and chefs to like them as they were not spoiled brats who think they are better than everyone. Though they were only three, their intelligence was above their age. They were gifted and were on the level of first graders.(impressive for three year olds)

"You guys are always so late, you need to go to bed earlier" their mother exclaimed.

"Now, now Tasha, it's fine as long as they don't stay awake more than two hours after their bed time(which is 8 pm).

"We need you guys to grow up strong and protect us, right darling"

"Yes they do Sweetheart"

"But aren't you guys heroes, and in the top ten" asked Damien.

"Yes but, you will be way stronger than us so we need your protection, my heroes" Tasha said jokingly.

Their father David and mother Tasha were strong and respected heroes. They were both in the top ten, their father being the number third ranked and their mother being rank five. Their father had a telekinesis quirk which was strong enough to pull a car towards him. Their mother had a quirk that took away her targets sight for a period of time, allowing her to quickly defeat her opponents.

There was still a couple months until their birthdays. They had started training and doing light exercises, like sprinting, jogging, sit ups, etc. They both started to learn swordsmanship from ear father and learn MMA from their mother.

Like that four months passed and it was their birthday. They made an appointment for the check up later in the afternoon and until Damien, and Stefan sparred. Until now Damien, and Stefan were equal in strength. Though Damien was better in swordsmanship, Stefan was better in hand to hand combat. Their score was relatively close since they were both allowed to use wooden weapons or fight hand to hand. The score was 120-100, with Damien leading.

"Stop boys, we are going to the doctors. Get ready" exclaimed their father.

As they stopped what they were doing, they got ready and headed to the car. Damien wore a pink sweatshirt and blue jeans, and Stefan wore a white shirt with black jeans. During these four months Damien grew his hair out to a little below his neck, while Stefan had the same hair style.

They got to the doctors office and waited until it was their time, as they got there ten minutes earlier. When they were called they went inside and they all sat down. They asked series of questions and a couple minutes after they started the test. They first called up Stefan since he seemed the most impatient.(though he's calm and collected, he's still a kid and who wouldn't be impatient)

They did series of tests on Stefan and finally found out what his quirk was after fifteen minutes. The doctors were shocked at such an amazing quirk, they knew he would be a top hero in the future.

"Your sons quirk is amazing" exclaimed the doctor.

"Well What is it doctor" responded Tasha.

"It's an evolution between your quirks. Mrs. Tasha, you have a quirk to take people sight and mess with it, and Mr. David you have telekinesis. Your son has a quirk to manipulate light, and could shape it, with little work he can do amazing things with it" exclaimed the doctor to the smiling parents.

"Wow, I have such an amazing quirk. Mom, dad I'm gonna be the future number one hero and protect you guys" said Stefan with a big smile on his face.

While this was happening Damien was worrying about whether or not he would get a strong quirk. He was the older brother and don't want to let his little brother protect him in the future. 'What if I end up weaker, no we're brothers, so I'll have an amazing quirk just like him' thought damien.

"Now it's my turn" Damien exclaimed.

"Yes come along" the doctor said while waving his hand towards himself.

Damien got up and started doing the tests. It took half an hour to find out what it was, and when they did, they were shocked. 'Both these kids have amazing quirks, they are the future. Though this Damien kid may be something entirely different' thought the doctor.

Damien had a smile on his face while walking out of the room. He knew his quirk was just as strong as his brothers.

"Your other son has just as an amazing quirk" the doctor exclaimed.

Both parents were excited and wanted to know so David asked and the doctor answered.
