Gods Among Us (Part 3)

As Hyperion looked at the city, suddenly his fireball disappeared, and he couldn't see what had happened. He heard a sarcastic voice coming from behind him, "Hey, I think you dropped this, Rasengan!!" Before he could turn around, that being threw his own previous attack at his back. Hyperion, who was hit, was sent straight into the depths of the sea after taking that blow. But quickly, he emerged from the sea. He was now without the top part of his clothes, but his body remained unharmed after receiving that attack. As he floated, he looked at the being that attacked him, who was now in front of him. Hyperion could see an energy similar to that of those gods, so he ended up mistaking him for his war enemies.

Hyperion spoke to him, "So, one of you was hiding here. That's why these humans were so different. You stooped so low as to live among them." His words echoed with sarcasm and veiled contempt.

Immortal looked at this individual with a puzzled expression and said, "I don't know who you are or where you came from, but consider this place your tomb." His words carried a tone of cold anger capable of freezing the blood of his enemies.

Immortal could have made a joke at first, but make no mistake, he was in a state of cold and rational fury. Someone dared to touch his people, and it had been many years since he had felt his blood boil with anger, but this being in front of him managed to achieve that.

Immortal made the first move, stepping on air and launching himself towards Hyperion, attempting to punch him in the face. Hyperion, seeing his enemy coming at him, felt exhilarated. What bothered the Titans the most were the different powers that the gods could possess, so they couldn't always be killed and often escaped. Hyperion, who trusted his body, knew he could quickly kill a god in hand-to-hand combat. He raised his left arm and threw a punch, colliding with his enemy's. However, as their punches met, he felt his tissue and veins quickly rupturing, accompanied by a pain he had never felt before. "AAAAAAAAH!" Hyperion screamed as he looked at his arm, which had become a mass of blood, flesh, and muscles.

Immortal, who was not holding back his strength, saw the opportunity. He took his right hand and used it to grab the enemy's head while simultaneously using his left hand to hold Hyperion's shoulder. He then used his immense strength to separate the opponent's head from his torso.

He remained in the air, holding a head that displayed despair, while below him, a body floated in the sea, its blood sizzling upon contact with the water. Immortal breathed a little more slowly, trying to calm himself. As his enemies had always been beasts, Immortal ended up developing a fighting style based on ferocity, almost berserker.

The atmosphere began to worsen; the clouds darkened the sky, and the sea became turbulent, forming increasingly larger waves. It was then that a giant being made of water emerged from the sea. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BROTHER?" the furious voice of that creature spread through the air like sonic booms.

Immortal smiled and whispered, "I was already thinking about how to find out what was happening here when the answers came knocking on my door. Hehe."
