17 Gods Among Us (Part 4)

The water titan, in his fury, began attacking Inmo, attempting to punch him. Inmo, seeing a giant fist formed from water coming towards him, felt no danger. He countered the attack with a punch of his own, generating such a great air pressure that it dissipated the entire water arm of the giant. However, unlike before, this titan didn't let out a single scream or seem to care. It was at this moment that the water titan's arm reappeared, rapidly reforming as if it had never been injured.

Oceanus looked at that figure, finally understanding why his brother ended up in such a pitiful state. However, he didn't feel a shred of fear because he was in the sea now, his domain. No matter how much damage he took, he could use water to recover, so in the end, he believed he would emerge victorious.

Time passed, a day and a night went by, but both figures continued to fight. Oceanus kept sending waves after waves to kill the immortal, even summoning ancient sea beasts to assist him. However, none of the attacks drew blood from that human figure. Another day passed, the sea was already red with the blood of ancient sea creatures, their bodies adorning the battlefield of these two divine figures. Oceanus began to realize that if he continued like this, he would end up dead. His strength was fading, and soon he wouldn't be able to merge with the water anymore. The moment his true form appeared, he would be dead. Thus, he made the decision to retreat. He had to warn his siblings about the danger of this creature.

While Oceanus made his retreat, the immortal watched him, and he said, "This will finally come to an end." Oceanus, who thought he could escape, became frightened when he realized Inmo was following him. However, he soon calmed down, thinking he could escape from Inmo in the vast ocean. The days went by with Oceanus running for his life while Inmo hunted him like a predator that would never stop until he tasted the blood of his prey.

Oceanus had to use all his strength to flee and reach the foothills of Mount Ótris, the home of the Titans. Now in his original form, he could barely walk, limping. His cries for help echoed loudly and clearly, and a vague human figure could be seen slowly walking behind him.

When Oceanus saw his brothers coming out of Mount Ótris and approaching him, he raised his hands as if pleading for help from the heavens. A tear of joy appeared in his eyes; he was finally saved from that monster. But in that moment, from the corner of his eye, he noticed two hands approaching his head. They were strong and firm, one gripping the back of his neck and the other resting on his chin. Confused about what was happening, the hands made their move. With the gentleness of an artist, they turned his head to the left, pushing his chin to the left with the palm of the hand, causing a crack that echoed in the surroundings. The titan's lifeless body fell, his hands raised in front of him while his neck was twisted. A smile of happiness still remained on his face.
