Morning was soon here, Li Tian did his morning meditation for two hours then like candy he started eating the dragon Qi pills. As he did the Qi within him increased at a terrifying speed. If someone could see what was going on within his body, they would be shocked.
He opened his computer and logged in to his mail and saw many notifications of new messages and as expected they were all from organisations that were interested in him. However, he cared only for one and that was the military invitation, scrolling down the list he soon saw what he was looking for.
He opened the letter and read through the message. The terms and conditions were very good compared to what they normally offered people. He was after already at the Qi manifestation stage while most recruits are at the Houtian realm.
In his recruitment letter he was given the position of Sergeant which was very high for his first rank but Li Tian found nothing strange about it. Given his cultivation, he would be anything but happy if he had to be a private like the Houtian realm cultivators. He quickly agreed and straightened out some details before logging off.
He started packing his things as he had been told that escorts will be coming later in the afternoon to take him the camp where he would do his training before been assigned. Li Tian found joy in this, he did not believe there was anything that would be taught that he didn't already know so he just saw this as an opportunity to have more time for cultivation. Right now his primary goal was to quietly cultivate without making any waves but man proposes and the heavens disposes.
Just when he was done packing and wanted to spend the rest of the day relaxing, he heard a knock on his door then an explosion as the door came flying off his hinges. Taking a closer look he saw two familiar faces within the group of people that came knocking.

Earlier just before dawn the information about Li Tian had been placed Infront of Zhang Ming and Li Yan. Li Yan is the father of Li Mei and like his daughter he had a head of red hair that extended to his shoulders. He looked like a scholar and was well groomed. During his youth he was the desire of all women and even now in his 50s he looked no different than a man in his late 20s putting him beside Li Mei, one will be inclined to conclude he was her elder brother.
Infact in this world of cultivation it will not be wrong to call him a youth. This is because a xiantian expert can live up to 200 years, a foundation expert can live up to 400, a core realm expert can live up to 600, and rebirth realm can live for thousands of years. So, while Li Yan can be considered aged for a mortal he was barely a youth in the eyes of cultivators given his cultivation realm which was only slightly weaker compared to Zhang Ming.

They made arrangements to meet and in their meeting decided to share the loot after silencing Li Tian.
After they reached an agreement they each selected two trusted subordinates along with their children, taxing them to bring Li Tian back for questioning.
The party of six departed prime city very early this morning and even with the incredibly fast means of transportation nowadays, they only arrived now.
When Li Tian saw them, he didn't panic and just kept a calm face, observing each and everyone one of the with keen attention. Should any of them make any sudden movements, he would react accordingly and this time he had no problems killing like he did in the trial.
"Li Tian our fathers have invited you to come to our place for a chat" said Li Mei.
Li Tian heard this but his face remained just as expressionless as ever. Li Mei continued
"I will advice you not to do anything stupid and simply do as you are told...one way or another you are going back with us. It all depends if you want to go the easy way or the hard was. I will give you 10 seconds to think. Choose wisely"
Li Tian just stood there observing this girl like he was looking at a fool. All this talk was useless and she was just looking for a way to deceive herself that she was right and had given Li Tian a way out.
But Li Tian knew one simple truth, in the world of cultivation there was no right or wrong, whoever has the biggest fist is right. The victor is king and the looser the bandit...which is why looking at this people before him he didn't think they did anything wrong other than fighting for the limited resources to further their own paths. However, he had no respect for them simply because they try to disguise their actions as a righteous one, though them taking his treasures was actually giving him an opportunity to make amends. He would prefer they call it what it is, "robbing" and then get on with the fighting.
"Have you thought it through?" Zhang Wei asked
"Yes" replied Li Tian
"And?"
"No thanks" Li Tian replied with a smile on his face.
Zhang Wei saw this for the mockery it was and nodded at the subordinates behind him. This man was a peak xiantian with complete conversion of all his Qi to liquid.
He launched a powerful attack at Li Tian, but Li Tian was not idle as he pulled out his newly obtained Saber and shot out a bright red Saber beam at the man. As they clashed, the man was immediately sent flying which shocked both Li Mei and Zhang Wei.
How did he become even stronger. They had fought Li Tian before and even though they knew he was stronger than them, they didn't expect it to be by this much.
Just when the other five men were about to join the fight a military car drove up to to Li Tian's residence prompting them to stop.
