103 Maddy is Team Jordan

"You said what?" Jordan asked. 

"I—" I opened my mouth but my words were interrupted by a knock on the door and Maddy peeked inside. 

She walked in and I stepped further away from Jordan. "Hey Jordan, Detective Gage is here for Sky's— Oh," she stopped talking when she sensed the tension in the room. "Am I… interrupting something?" 

"No," I said. I could feel Jordan's eyes still on me. 

"Um," she looked from me to Jordan, her brows cringed in confusion. 

"What's up, Madison?" Jordan turned to her. 

"Well, Detective Gage is here for her statement." She raised her eyebrows at me. "And he wants to talk to you, Jordan." 

"Okay. I'll just…" he looked at me from over his shoulder. "We'll talk later," he said to me. "Freshen up and come downstairs."

"Mhm." I nodded once. "Okay, I'll be down in 10." 

"Okay, I'll tell him that," Jordan said and walked out of the room.
